Location, location, location -- this Kimpton truly delivers…read more Right in the heart of Yorkville, you're steps from everything: the Bata Shoe Museum across the street, several more museums along Bloor, the University of Toronto right next door, and endless restaurants and shops in every direction. One of my favorite features of this property is the heated garage. As a Diamond Elite member, I always appreciate how many dedicated spots they offer -- it makes arriving and parking completely stress-free. The staff is consistently kind and accommodating. Everyone I've interacted with has been eager to help and genuinely welcoming. There's also a small bodega tucked behind the front desk with snacks, wine, and the occasional branded item, which is super convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We usually book a suite with a living room and bartop seating, which gives us plenty of room to relax. The bathrooms aren't huge, but the tubs are great for soaking, and they're perfect for getting ready for a night out. The only downside on our last stay was the water pressure, which seemed a bit low -- likely due to the wet-room setup. Wine hour from 5-6 p.m. is always a highlight. They partner with a local winery to pour both a red and a white, which feels so much more thoughtful than a generic corporate bottle. It's a fun way to meet the staff and other guests, if you're in the mood. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the heating and cooling systems work exactly as they should. Despite the busy streets below, noise was never an issue -- being on a higher floor definitely helps. And one of the absolute best parts: they're truly pet friendly. No fees, no fuss, just open arms for your furry family members -- which is unheard of in Toronto hotels. Our cats came along and happily snoozed the day away. I'll keep returning to this special hotel year after year.

It is in the heart of downtown. The lobby and interior is reasonably fresh and maintained but small. It has a restaurant/bar used for breakfast and as a nightclub for late night drinking. The elevator area feels cramped. They don't have a concierge. The front desk staff were friendly. Interestingly, the main entrance is on the side of the building and not on the front. When walking down St. George you don't see any signage that identifies the hotel. It is very close to the University of Toronto, the main city museum and a shoe museum. You read that right, a "shoe" museum. Lots of shopping nearby.and in walking distance. The suite I stayed in was large and nicely furnished but not "new" nor elegant, The bathroom should have had a larger sink/counter area for a hotel suite. The room(s) on the 12th floor were clean and quiet. It is pricey but that is usually the case in big cities. I would give it 3 1/2 stars and would not hesitate to return.

In the beginning, hotel exterior, checking-in, valet and hotel lobby are all organized, clean and standard. You don't get wow'ed initially. But the experience of the room itself and the service are what make this hotel so special. The Hazelton is located at the posh Yorkville neighborhood of Toronto. It's part of Leading Hotels of the World (LHW). In Canada there are 3 location of this consortium. Two of them are located in Montréal and one in Toronto, The Hazelton. Fiji water is available everywhere, so you'll stay hydrated. All rooms non-EtOH beverages are free. The valet parking is standard. Rooms are two types, deluxe and luxury. Definitely go with the luxury as they're bigger and no huge difference in rates. The deep green marble of the bathroom is gorgeous. There are so many details in each room that you can't keep a count. After checking in, showering, Nespressoing then and going out, upon return, the room was fully serviced again as usual for 5 stars hotels. This hotel is as fancy as it gets and it will add to your Toronto experience.

So far I've tried their muffins and scones for breakfast and the oysters and steak frites for lunch. Overall, it's a great study spot that I keep coming back to. FYI, at 5 pm they prohibit laptops.

But these days that place is too dark for me. I'm at the age where I need light to see stuff. Wild, I know! The Ace Hotel's Toronto outpost is a far better fit for my life now: it's light-filled, walkable to most places I want to go, they serve great burgers and nice cocktails in the lobby bar, and getting a good night's sleep has so far never been a problem in my numerous visits here. If you're considering where to stay in Toronto, trust me: this is the place.

My favorite are the views of the lake! The rooms must be dynamite! Will have to book a stay at some point.

Everything is very new, clean and well decorated. The quality of the bedsheets and towels are in par with a 5-star hotel. There was a complimentary arcade bar with great games. I ordered in room dining for dinner one night. I got mushroom pasta and it was so creamy. It was delicious and I would easily get this again. The service at the front desk was quick through out my stay. The valet and bell desk were all extremely helpful and quick. I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Although not in the core of the city it's close enough to get to places within a 5-10 minutes uber. And walkable to Liberty Village.

An Exceptional 5-Star Experience That Exceeded All Expectations!…read more Our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everything was at the highest level. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the luxurious atmosphere, the beautifully designed and well-equipped rooms, and the exceptional cleanliness were all truly impressive. One particularly nice touch was the complimentary Rolls-Royce transportation service around the city, which made our stay feel even more special. Although the hotel is certainly in the luxury price category, the quality of accommodations, attention to detail, and level of service fully justify the price. You truly get what you pay for. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. This is exactly what a true five-star hotel should be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommended!

What great is that you also have access to the pool area, which also includes a decent sized hot tub and infrared sauna found on the pool deck. The pool deck is surrounded by loungers. You can easily spend a whole day here. There is a separate area where you can order food and eat and it looks like there is a patio for warmer weather. The only downside is that the pool area is the only co-ed space so we saw a lot of couples. Because the amenities are so great you can easily just make an appointment, show up with your swimsuit and purse and that's all you need. Service is very professional...this is the Four Seasons.

Roger's Stadium (Blue Jays), CN Tower and convention center were all in walking distance. I actually arrived early but my status was recognized and my room was ready. Staff were very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. I was upgraded to a one bedroom which was welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Better than the family's last stay in SoCal. The only room issue i had was the location of the in room safe. It was on the top shelf of the closet and the closet door blocked the safe door from opening fully. The other issue was 1 out of 3 elevators was offline the entire stay. It did make the waits a little longer. On the second floor was a very small gym but it did have a multifunction weight gym and cardio equipment. A water dispenser was located here. The heated indoor pool and spa was in the room next door. Breakfast was decent with a rotating menu over my stay. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pork or turkey sausages, egg bites, seasoned potatoes, etc were some of the hot offerings. Cereals, breads and prepackaged yogurts were some of the cold items. They had both regular and oat milk which was nice. One note was that you have to provide your name and room before being admitted. There was a good amount of seating and was never crowded. In the evening the bar was open. Would come back and stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located and very convenient, which is a big reason I would stay here again…read more I received an upgrade to a suite, which was appreciated, and overall the stay was fine. That said, the lighting could be improved, particularly in the bathroom. One important note for future guests: despite having a Do Not Disturb sign displayed, the hotel conducts in-person "wellness checks" after 3 days without housekeeping. In my case, this involved an attempted room entry without a prior phone call or message. Management confirmed this is policy after the incident. Had I been advised of this at check-in, I would have either requested that my Do Not Disturb be respected or chosen to remove it on the applicable day. Advance disclosure of this policy, or using non-invasive methods first (such as a phone call, message, or reviewing lock activity), would allow guests to make informed choices and avoid unnecessary discomfort. Overall, a solid stay in a great location, but clearer communication around housekeeping and wellness check practices would significantly improve the guest experience.
