I enjoyed my visit today with Brittany. She did a great job on my curly hair. As someone with tight curls it is really hard to find someone that knows how to cut curly hair. Brittany was very nice from the beginning and overall vibe was great. I only went in for a cut and style and she did exactly what I wanted and my hair was even which I've had bad experiences before. I would definitely go back to her again. 10/10 recommend. read more

Emma is great and the staff is wonderful. Book with her you won't be sorry. Place is clean

I brought my boys is for a haircut and really was not happy with the results. I feel they could have done a better job. Maybe style their hair. They lady next to us did a great job on some other kid. They could've been a little friendlier too. read more

I love this salon. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful with any of your needs. Not only do they offer hair care but they also offer waxing, facials, massage, manicures and pedicures. Best place in the area for your needs. read more

I'm not sure why Status salon only has 3 stars. I have been coming here for years. Natalie, Kimmie & Katie have done my hair & they are amazing at their job. Sometimes there is a little wait but that is because they aim to please their customers and want them to be happy when they leave. I always make sure I tip the girls cuz I appreciate the hard work they do to make me feel better about the way I look. Thank you ladies! Always positive attitude with a smile and work hard. read more

I went to this salon because I attend ONU and its within walking distance which is very nice. The salon has a comfortable atmosphere and friendly people. I got a manicure and was fairly satisfied with it. The only thing I would complain about was that the workers sat around the counter and talked to whole time and that took away from the calming atmosphere. read more

Followed my hair stylist down to this salon. Almost hour drive from just the 2-minute drive before but she's well worth it! This salon is comfortable and bright. Everyone seems cherry! read more

I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment. Waited 20 minutes after the appt. and still did not get to see a nail tech. I don't plan on returning. They need to be better organized. read more

Katie has been coloring my hair for years and ALWAYS gets it right. I live in Chicago and travel here to get my hair done because no one is as good at getting the color just right. read more

This salon has gone downhill. I used to love going there because I felt so comfortable. Now I get a bad vibe and they are not accommodating to walk ins even though they have a walk ins welcome sign right in the front door. They lost 3 customers today. read more

My overall experience was terribly disappointing. I went in to get my hair colored on a Friday evening. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted to do and she quickly looked at it and then went off to get her color swatches. The picture I showed her was mostly blonde with darker and lighter pieces throughout. I'm naturally a medium blonde. So we picked out, what I thought, were the colors for the lowlights and highlights. Well the stylist ended up dying my whole head the darkest color and used the highlight color for a few foils up top. However it was hard for me to tell that night because I left with sopping wet hair. She assured me that if I didn't like it, to call back in the morning and she would fix it. Yikes, so I went home and took a better look at it as it was drying and yeah, nothing like the picture I had shown her. It was completely dark and I hated it. So the next morning I called just after they opened and spoke with the stylist and told her how I wasn't happy with the color and wanted to come back in that morning to fix it. Now, here's the part that really irked me, she tells me she's booked up all day for homecoming and that she can't get me in. She goes on to say that she doesn't know how she'd fix it anyways or maybe she could run a clarifying shampoo in it to lighten it up. I was appalled. I asked if there was anybody else there who could help me and she told me no. She could get me in Monday or Tuesday to which I said I work until 5. She was like, yeah we close at 5 so that won't work. I was so upset I told her to forget it all together and I would go somewhere else to get it fixed. She had no solutions for me and she wanted me to tell her how to fix my hair. I'm not a stylist but I was I would make sure to accommodate my customers and if I say I would fix it I would! I ended up going to Paul Mitchell and had a student do my hair...it's much better now. I can't believe I shelled out $100 for hair I had to have somebody else fix. I work hard for that money! read more

I went here as I couldn't get to my regular hair salon place before Thanksgiving, and I probably should have just waited. I arrived 15 minutes early, and a woman took me right away, so I was pretty surprised. Throughout the hair cut, she kept acting as if she were in a rush to get me out of the door, and kept accidentally jabbing my face with her fingers (which hurt). When styling it, I told her that my hair is naturally a little wavy, so I didn't mind having it curl at the bottom. I thought that this would make her continue styling my hair with a round brush and a hairdryer, but she took out a hair straighter and hastily straightened my hair and tried to curl the ends with that. She also used hair spray, sprayed it right in my eyes without any warning, and didn't even apologize. All the hairstylists were talking about politics while this went on, and regardless of views, I find it VERY unprofessional to be talking about that. She was nice enough, but she smelled very strongly of cigarettes, and kept sniffling every 5 seconds as if she were sick. I left with my hair feeling frizzy and awful and will need to go get it fixed up somewhere else. Would not go back. read more

Worst haircut of my life. The person cutting my hair did not listen to what I asked for, used the wrong size guard, cut a widow's peak into my hair making me look bald (I had a full head of hair before), and cut each side of my head very non-symmetrical compared to the other side. I told her I was unhappy, but she did not offer to do anything about it and still charged me full price. I went to another hair salon to have what little was left of my hair salvaged. The other place did a good job in evening things out (they said it was the worst hack job they'd ever seen), but it still looks terrible because I have extremely little hair left. I had bangs before and wanted to keep them- not anymore. I implore any guys out there to go somewhere else for a haircut. read more
