Stas and Laura are unicorns. Excellent across the spectrum! Anything I've needed help with Stas was able to do well, promptly, meticulously, and for a reasonable price--from installing ceiling fans and window treatments to moving a kitchen vent and putting in an outlet to relocating pipes and making perfect cuts for a new bathroom vanity... I've worked with a lot of construction guys (some of them may even identify as "bros") on my new home build, and as a non-bro who also cherishes her home as a sanctuary, I cannot express how fortunate I feel to have found this truly rare team - trustworthy, knowledgeable, kind, and respectful of homes as personal spaces. Ten stars wouldn't be enough! read more

Stas did a great job for us. He handled a mix of electrical work and general repairs, and everything was done efficiently and with care. He showed up exactly when he said he would, got straight to work, and didn't waste any time. He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. The quality of the work was excellent, and he left the area clean when he finished. No complaints at all - we'll definitely be hiring him again. read more

Stas Handyman - New 8ft dog door - Handyman Near Me - Oak Park, California

We couldn't be happier with every aspect of working with Stas and Laura. In sum, Stas is highly skilled, versatile, efficient, honest, and fairly priced. We had a challenging job--two attic vents on our Coastal home that had disintegrated and leaked rust down the side of our stucco wall. We had several handyman companies tell us that the job would be difficult, expensive and time-consuming to repair. Then we found Stas and Laura, who with their 'can-do' attitude, immediately sent us a link where we could purchase vinyl replacement vents. Once the vents arrived, they were here the next day and installed them perfectly within two hours. It was a messy job, but they cleaned the area and left our home in perfect condition. We are very grateful to Stas and Laura, we highly recommend them, and they will be our 'go to' Handyman from now on! read more

Highly recommend, five stars! I reached out to this business for some work on our condo. Very timely response, strong communication, fair price, and absolute quality work. Stas upgraded two bathroom room vents, installed a shower door trim and manufactured new screens for the windows. Additionally, he replaced a broken pocket door which was more involved than initially planned for. His attention to detail and cleanliness was noteworthy. Great communication with his assistant Laura as well. Hire these trustworthy couple, you will not be disappointed! read more

Stas Handyman, did a great job in our condo. Other companies wouldn't even provide estimates or they were too high. Stas responded right away and their price was super reasonable, but more important they did a great and professional job. Thank you Stas Handyman! read more

We have a very adventurous 4 year old and hired Stas and Laura to put up some slats to block him from trying to climb an open are at the top of the stairs. Everyone else we requested a quote from said that all we needed was to put up a baby gate - but we knew that wasn't enough. Stas' first suggestion was to install vertical slats all the way to the ceiling - which was exactly what we were looking for. They came and did the work on a Sunday and it looks great and for a very fair price. We'll definitely hire them again for anything else we may need help with! read more

Stas and his wife, Laura came in to my home to install a little over 30 handles on newly painted cabinets in my kitchen. They both came in professional wearing booties on their shoes (did not ask them to) and both worked together to get the job completed within 2 hours or so. Stas, is very responsive via text and both him and his wife are very professional. Our kitchen renovation is coming together and we're glad that we can finally cross off this to do off our list. Needed closet shelving done. They were quick, efficient, well priced, and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone

Appreciated them both showing up to give a quote, quickly and honestly. Will be keeping their info for future!

My mom contacted Stas and Laura for repairing three interior doors. Whoever lived here before installed them very weirdly so they patiently took the time to investigate and repair all three doors. For one of our upstairs doors they even offered to go to the nearest hardware store to pick up two new hinges for the door. They worked quickly quietly and cleaned up like no one was even here. They were prompt, very kind, and we will definitely be recommending them and using them in the future. Thank you so much Stas & Laura for the fantastic service and for putting up with our dog Sadie. read more

I hired Stas to install a doggy door in an outer wall onto our balcony. He and his wife arrived on time fully prepared and even wore booties to keep our flooring clean. He was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Due to the depth of our house wall he had to create a wider tunnel with wood/glue. He also cared what was best for the dog, making sure it was all safe and easy for her to use. They bring their own vacuum and are clean and conscientious. The quality of work was outstanding. I highly recommend and would give an A+ rating across the board. read more

Hired the Stas team to fix a whole bunch of things around the house -- caulking and mold remediation in the showers and kitchen sink, sticky doors, air vent cleaning. Amazing quality work! Stas and wife did an amazing job fixing a sagging front door that was making this awful scraping noise, making a custom table from some butcher block I bought, and hanging a 75 inch TV. I've had such bad luck with handymen not thinking about baseboards, plugs or aesthetics but these guys were on it! Super high tech equipment for both cutting delicate wood and hanging a TV (seriously, they used a laser leveler). I did not need to double check their work and I would 100% use them again, especially since I think they got everything done in such a timely fashion. So reasonably priced too if you're doing 2 or more projects! read more
