Gary is an amazing electrician. I previously hired another business to repair a shortage caused by simultaneously running multiple electrical appliances in the kitchen. The previous electrician repair caused few other outlets to stop working. Knowing that I won't trust the previous electrician, I relied on recommendations and Gary was highly recommended. He ended discovering some serious problems with the previous "repair" where the ground and neutral wires were tied together and few burned aluminum wires. I had been looking for an electrician to install my hardwired Juicebox 40 for about two weeks. Everyone that I had contacted needed to set an appointment a week later just for an estimate and I ended up getting expensive quotes from them. I also needed the work to be permitted in order to take advantage of the rebates, but the other electricians I got estimates from were adding $300 to their already expensive estimates. I contacted Gary on 3/30/2021 after hours on their website and he contacted me that night, asked me to take pictures of my panel and where I wanted to place my EV charger. He told me he would look at it in the morning. The next day, Gary contacted me in the morning and asked me if I wanted to get it permitted. I told him yes and he gave me an excellent estimate. I told him we wanted to hire him and he came later that day and installed it. He walked me through what he was going to do and was very transparent. After he was done, he left the area spotless. We had four of the approved Tesla electricians provide us a quote to install a $220 outlet for Tesla charging. Our quotes ranged from $445 to double that. Gary's quote was considerably cheaper - to the point where we didn't know if that meant we couldn't trust him. Seemed like a good guy, so we went further. He did as agreed - pulled the permit, installed the outlet, no problem. He even fixed something in our house totally unrelated, but we will be using him as an electrician going forward. Of course, when you pull the permit, that means an inspector had to come out. And, much to our incredible relief, the inspector found that yep, it's a real outlet. Installed on the wall. With no exposed wires. Good thing a trained inspector is required to come out and verify that. What a great relief for us. NOT But I digress, as that is our fine local and state government at work.
