In the beginning, I thought I was going to died haha and felt like impossible to accomplish my goals. I was getting scare to go in on the first week because I had to step out of my comfort zone. Johannes guided me through and demonstrated well with how to proceed with each sets of exercise safely. Now I'm looking forward to meet with him each time, knowing I am getting closer and closer with my goals. I am so glad I found him to train me not only physically and also mentally to build my confident to be my daughters' role model. I've had my share of below par personal training sessions with other personal trainers. He is an amazing personal trainer and here are some reasons why. - his schedule is flexible (AM sessions available) - he explains the technical part of the work out (prevents injuries) - he's extremely attentive and motivating. These qualities are essential to have in a personal trainer.. otherwise, what's the point? - he holds you accountable (asks for photos of your supplements and meals) - he's personable and honest My fitness goal of getting more toned was reached! I would highly recommend him!

I highly recommend her services if you are wanting to lose weight.

I waited to give this review at least one year out since the start of working with Andrea…read more My initial & priority goals are strength & energy, which came quicker than I thought (I'm talking about weeks!). Then, a few months in, I decided to get married. I started taking Andrea's nutritional advice seriously and I was able to drop 15 lbs. within 5 weeks of my wedding! Not to mention that I looked and felt the best that I had in YEARS! I continued on with the good nutrition, it actually is pretty easy, and not only have I lost 40 POUNDS to date, but I feel so amazing that eating bad is not worth losing my progress and how insanely great & strong I feel: physically, mentally & spiritually. I am 40, exercise & nutrition are very important to me now that I am getting older. However, it is honestly not hard at all. I spend just a small amount of my time working out with Andrea & a small amount of time planning out good nutrition. It is almost unimaginable what a big task I used to think both of these things were, but come to think of it, it was actually that I lacked the knowledge that Andrea has delivered. I have literally had to get rid of every piece of old clothing and completely restock my wardrobe (even my chonies ;-). I didn't buy too much to restock though, my body is STILL changing and I continue to lose! So, what started as a target for energy & strength, turned into a 180° transformation for me - inside & out. As I said, as you go on it gets easy & habitual. However, the key lies with consistency. Having sessions with Andrea regularly and her heaps of advice & knowledge is what really has kept me on track. Without her specific & targeted guidance, I would not be as successful & I know it would be much more challenging to remain consistent. Not to mention that the start of my journey was interrupted with this crazy COVID-19 pandemic! Andrea was flexible as this whole thing unfolded, day-by-day, week-by-week. She adjusted to practicing CDC guidelines as they morphed and she was always on the side of extra cautiousness. I didn't miss one session, due to the pandemic. She just made it happen and I attribute a lot of my success to her. On a personal note, Andrea is fun, silly & the sweetest ball of energy. I love starting my mornings with her. Most of the time, I forget I'm working out. I'm usually a little draggy & really don't want to be there, but it ALWAYS changes within minutes. The workout and Andrea are the reason. She is a very smart, kick-ass, strong female. She inspires & fuels me with these traits. Needless to say, by the end or our sessions, I am always 1,000% in gratitude for having her in my life & our time together. I feel complete serenity, positive energy & strength to go out into the world and kick ass doing my part everywhere I go. Like I mentioned, I recently turned 40. I couldn't' be happier with myself that I finally made my body & health a priority and I feel extremely fortunate that I connected specifically with Andrea to start my journey & learning. She is super knowledgeable about everything nutrition & exercise, usually from a personal standpoint. I love that she has tried everything personally, so that she can be a good training & wealth of knowledge to us clients. And if she doesn't know off the top of her head, she enjoys the challenge and will hit you back with scientific data-driven responses in less than two business days. HA! She loves research and especially about her trade. I am so fortunate to have Andrea in my corner, uplifting me in so many ways. 5 starts for this amazing woman ;)

Kathy is glamorous and is young, agile, and energetic. You couldn't ever tell that she got run over by a truck just less than 10 years ago. The fact that Kathy recovered from being run over by a truck and being confined in a wheel chair for years is proof that she practices what she preaches and that pilates works. I believe if you want a Pilates instructor who cares about building the correct foundation for a lifetime of Pilates practice and correct day to day movement so you don't get into a wheel chair or have to push yourself around with a walker when you get older, she is the one to go to.

I've been training with Jess for 2.5 years, and I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions…read moreI've ever made. When I first started, I was terrified of lifting weights. I had just moved to LA after going through a really difficult personal loss, and I had gained weight due to depression. Before that, I had spent over a year doing Beachbody workouts 6 days a week, walking constantly, and eating as little as possible. I was thin--but had no muscle--and the moment life hit hard, I gained everything back quickly. About 6 months before my wedding, I decided I needed to try something different. That's when I met Jess--and from the very first session, my fear started to disappear. I still worried I wouldn't be "good enough" or strong enough to lift heavy, but Jess is incredibly encouraging, kind, and positive. Because of her, I kept showing up. Within a couple of months, something clicked--I realized lifting was not only more effective than endless cardio, but actually more enjoyable. And surprisingly, I wasn't constantly sore like I expected. Fast forward 2.5 years later: I'm hip thrusting 195 lbs and deadlifting my body weight--and I feel strong, confident, and capable. As someone who is very Type A and disciplined, I tend to push myself hard. Jess is the perfect coach because she knows exactly when I'm holding back versus when I'm truly at my limit. She pushes me in a healthy, supportive way and celebrates every win with so much genuine enthusiasm. I'm very motivated by positive reinforcement, and she just gets that. The results speak for themselves. I originally bought my wedding dress in a larger size, hoping just to "tone up" my back. After 6 months of training with Jess (3x/week) and following her macro guidance, I dropped a size and saw a huge difference in muscle tone and overall confidence. But more than anything, Jess changed my relationship with fitness. I fell in love with lifting--and I truly don't think I would have stuck with it without her. We are so lucky to have her. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in her clients. Jess is the BEST. I can't recommend her enough.

Even the smallest adjustments to form make the biggest differences! Results have been so much better and quicker than when I was attempting on my own. I love her energy and how she's always there to answer my questions. I feel so much more confident in the gym now too! Highly recommend :)

Fast-forward to September 2013: After gaining 30 pounds over the past 4 years, I decided enough was enough. I wanted to learn how to play tennis, but I realized that I also needed to get in shape first. So I finally emailed Melody to set up a fitness assessment and start training with her. Honestly, it was the best decision I ever made. I typically attend the group sessions, with some individual sessions thrown in here and there. Each time Melody switches up the exercises to keep the workouts fresh and interesting. Oh, and if you're worried about getting a tough enough workout, have no fear. They are BRUTAL. Melody also happens to be a champion powerlifter, so she knows a thing or two about strength training. At the same time, Melody will work with you to achieve your fitness goals, and you can make your workouts with her as challenging as you want. She's not a sadist, but she will kick your butt. She'll push you to get stronger and make you like it. Did I mention that she's got a great sense of humor and excellent taste in music? And she's also a licensed massage therapist, in case your body needs fixing after an intense workout. In the three months I've worked out with Melody, I've lost 17 pounds. And I plan to continue the awesome in 2014, with Melody's help. The proof is in the pudding. Sign up with Melody. You won't regret it!
