In early December of 2017, the fabulous team at Professional Physical Therapy literally took me in off the street - in a manner of speaking - and I will be forever grateful. I had recently undergone a Total Knee Replacement on the right leg and despite home therapy, my progress was slow and I was in a great deal of pain. I had a stellar surgeon but one with little if no interest in a patient's post-op phase, and I was feeling more than a little bit panicked.
I knew I was on to something when Donnet, a 14-year veteran of PPT, answered my first call at 7pm on a Friday night and my second call on Monday morning at 8am. Always gracious, and yet commanding, she attends to all who come and go, making everyone feel welcomed and accommodated regarding appointments, follow-up, billing, etc.
Joseph Incandela, PT, ATC, CSCS, leads a fabulous team of Physical Therapists, and Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC's), all working together seamlessly, helping the 'wounded' who depend on their expertise. In my case, I was treated for my knee, for others, broken bones, dislocations, numerous surgical repairs, and other joint replacements, etc. Everyone, in various stages of recovery, receives one-on-one treatment from Joe or Samantha, PT, DPT with help from Christine, ATC, Brianne, ATC or Sunny, P.T.
The facility at 30 Broad has a professional atmosphere, and yet has a family feel. Speaking for myself, no matter how much pain I am in, or how depressed I am over the long recovery necessitated by a knee replacement, when I arrive at Professional PT, I am immediately reassured, knowing I am in very good hands.
Joe Incandela is a pro - everyone is - but he, in particular, has vast experience with every type of sports or age-related injury one can imagine. He has created a team working in harmony, in a comfortable and reassuring environment, where there are no judgments about expressions of pain or appearance as 'patients' work to return to their pre-surgery/pre-injury level - or better -- of function and fitness. At the same time, whether the clinic is busy or otherwise, Joe is aware of what is going on with each and every one who is being treated and how they feel on a given day. Last but not least, he doesn't hesitate to jump in when a table needs to be wiped sterile in between clients, a clear the sign of an especially talented manager.
I do not post negative reviews, and, likewise, I write rarely and only when a specialist or vendor of any type renders the calibre of service that actually impacts my life health/well-being or an important practical matter. I include Professional PT here, of course, with a total sense of indebtedness for which I will always be thankful.
