However this time, the water suddenly turned dangerously hot and scorched my dog about 5-10 minutes into his bath. He screamed and cried in pain. I turned off the water and got him out as fast as I could.....while he was cowering from fear of the hot water. It was absolutely horrific. The lady in the next stall washing her dog also announced her water also turned extremely hot suddenly and stated, "what the hell." Apparently there are currently no safety measures to prevent the water from turning dangerously hot. We won't be washing our dogs there again.

The file they sent I was unable to print. After multiple tries I had to screenshot the prescription, and print the picture! We take the printed (screenshot) prescription to our pharmacy because it is HALF the price of Petco. They are unable to honor it because it is not a signed copy! Spent 30 minutes with their call center which is out of the country. Got a response 2 days later that Vetco is unable to assist with getting us a hard copy or having the doctor send it in directly. We need to contact our Veterinarian directly! There is no contact information for the veterinarian except the call center! Was told by the Petco staff we can come in when the veterinarian is back at that location in a few weeks!!!! I will be disputing the charge with our credit card. This is delaying treatment for our dog.

I had an appointment with Cassie today…read more I am one of those Shiba Inu owners and if you've ever seen Shiba's on YouTube you know they're at their most dramatic when it comes time for a pawdicure. Every visit to the groomer is apparently an audition for the "victim 14" part in the SAW movie franchise where an innocent puppy is being both physically and psychologically tortured. The horror!! But Cassie pulled it off nicely! Earthwise is set up well and actually has a pneumatic riser for the aspiring horror movie actor. it's the most sophisticated nail trimming table I have ever seen. Cassie was able to keep Bodhi still from the backside and also at the front side. some places only secure the dog around the neck which means that they could potentially hang themselves if they fight so hard that they go off the edge. Anyway I was pleasantly surprised with Cassie's Calm and expertise. By far my favorite groomer of all time. I'm so grateful to have found this team and that they were willing to take on my dramatic Shiba Inu challenge!! thanks again!!

Compared to the ones I've used, this one was just as nice (if not nicer than most) and even better priced. I like the way the shampoo and conditioner comes out the nozzle which makes it easier to apply evenly. I would absolutely come here again on our next trip to Tahoe! If I was a local I'd be here all the time. One of the ladies also assisted me with finding a cream/balm to put on a hot spot my dog has. It's been a few days of using it and she's healing up really well.
