Honestly the staff here is superb. I lost my baby cat a few months ago (Not an actual baby, she…read morewas 14. She was just baby cat cause she was so small compared to my male cats.) I decided to start going into the humane society to get some kitty therapy(wasn't really planning on picking one up.). I still had my two boys but my cat I lost was special and it left a little bit of a void. I went back a couple times for a few weeks and then one day there was an intake that was a little ball of energy that I just had to play with. But since he was new they were still figuring out his temperament so he was not available for meets. Went into my work weekend and I saw he went into regular population to where he could be played with on my work Friday. Had a friend that was going with me on occasion to see the cats. I woke up on my first day off to a knock on my door, She adopted the cat for me and it was a bit of a shock at first but he's been the most beautiful fit for my household. Don't shop, please adopt. So many amazing animals out there

Lou came out from under a couch and stole my heart. He's an 8 year old boy who was surrendered by his family. How can I leave him there??? So he came home with me. Here is the part I never expected: they've called to check in on US. they send surveys out at interval to see how things are going. They alway answer the phone if there's an issue. They support the families who adopt pets. I love the kind staff and I love what they do for these animals. Please adopt- don't shop.

Our tiny Princess Leia ("The Iron Lady") made a terrible life choice involving razor blade pieces,…read moreand this incredible vet team saved her life. After losing our previous tiny Yorkie during a routine dental procedure, we were absolutely terrified -- but from the first moment, the doctors and staff treated Leia like family. The level of skill, compassion, communication, and care we received was extraordinary. A huge thank you to Cameron Ross and Nick Mannan for their incredible work, kindness, and dedication during one of the scariest moments of our lives. Today Leia is back to doing zoomies, giving kisses, and running the household like nothing ever happened. We will never forget what this team did for our family.

We have a rescue dog we adopted from the Carson City Humane Society last year as a 4 month old pup…read more We had yet to set up a new Veterinarian office. Well I noticed she had a little unpleasant discharge. Knowing this is not normal, we called around and found this office has Urgent Care appts for non-life-threatening situations. I was already pretty sure what she had but also knew she needed antibiotics to get rid of it. I was able to catch a clean urine sample right before we left to rule out any UTI. Now our Sushi girl was ready to go and a 2 town away drive. Once upon arriving, this place is huge! Really clean once and very nice inside. Very nice Employees to help along the way. Once checked in, we were taken back and talked with a very sweet Vet Tech. Now the Veterinarian comes in, Dr Dalton Pils and plops right down on the floor. Sushi is loving all over him while he gets a good assessment on her. They take her back and run a few tests which were included in the original ER charge. Results came back as to what I had originally thought it was. Antibiotics and steroids for 10 days. They gave her chewables, and not again lol. I had to hide chewables in cheese lol. I have a picky pup lol. I highly recommend Dr Pils if you have to go to Urgent Care and can pick your Vet. He really reminds me of the Vet we left when we moved here from SETX.
