Fork seals came 7 months later. They blamed it on USPS. They refused to take the part back and suggested that I try to resell the part again on Ebay. Buyers beware. Best to avoid them and the potential headache. read more

This company has no idea on how to work on any new Polaris ATV. I've had my 2015 Polaris Sportsman ETX for one month now. This company has given me very little contact. I have had to show up in person to only ask, what is the problem with my ATV. The owner, and the head mechanic of Star have only given lies and faults information on the guessing games on this company not knowing what problem my Polaris Sportsman ETX has. Star started with Replacement of the fuel Pump after I said I had proper fuel flow. Then this company said we need to replace the fuel injectors. If wanted to know why the company is taking way too long on finding the problem. I went and made a call to a Polaris Dealer in PD on to call them and tell them that he knows the problem at had. I only hope that Star will learn from their lack of not knowing anything on Polaris ATV. read more

Had to stop here after the ranger at Hungry Valley stopped me and checked my spark arrestor which was non existent. It was my fault for not paying attention and checking it. She referred me to Star Cycle, so I headed over there to see if they had what I needed. I removed the end cap and had one of the techs look for the screen. After a little searching we found one that worked. I purchased it, installed it and it works great. Good service and I'm glad that they had the part in stock. Someone suggested Star Cylce, being a motorcycle shop- it had not occurred to me to check there. They not only had chainsaws- they carried a selection of one of my favorite brands - Husquavarna! I have been taking my ATVs and motorcycles to Star Cycle (formerly Hangtime Motorcycles) ever since I moved to the area. Pete is the best. I don't think I would let anyone else work on my bikes. The others guys there, Chris, Cody, Shawn (sorry if I missed anyone) are always helpful and courteous. No, they are not cheapest place in the world. Many parts can be bought online for a little less - however I believe in supporting the local business's on the mountain. They have never failed me. During the riding season, they get busy so if I take any of my machines (I own 4 Yamaha V-Star bikes, 2-1100cc and 2 650cc) there during riding season, I fully expect that I will need to leave them there for a few days. I would rather wait and have the job done correctly. Pete cares about his work and stands behind it. Thanks guys. I am moving to Stallion Springs in late October which is about 90 minutes away but still plan on bringing my bikes to Star Cycle for their annual valve and carb adjustments along with an overall safety check (despite my limited ability, I know how to change the oil and air filters!) Simple process -- bring one bike in, my wife will drive me home, when that bike is ready, ride another to Star Cycle, pick up the first one and so one. I found myself in need of a spark arrestor for my Yamaha 700 quad last weekend (Memorial Day weekend). Devin did an amazing job at finding the correct part that would work, as the quad is 10 years old, and the company that made the exhaust is no longer in business.... they were even open on Memorial Day! Devin was professional and nice, very good attitude.... I would not have been able to ride my quad without that repair, and my weekend would have been a bummer.... So helpful, I got a flat on my Roadking way out in the sticks. I limped it into their shop and they went right to work. They had the tire, rounded up the owner / mechanic on a Saturday to come in and mount the tire. The price they quoted was very fair especially in light of the circumstances. Juts bought a used quad.. took it to Gorman and Ranger did not let me ride it due to the spark arrestor missing from the factory pipe... drove 5 minutes to Star Cycle and Chris was very helpful and helped me put something together... he even lend me some tools so I could install the part... not many shops will do that... On a Saturday trip from San Jose to Orange, CA we had a valve stem split. Ask a local sheriff if there was a motorcycle shop close by and was directed to Starcycle USA. Pulled in to Starcycle with a near flat tire on our Goldwing. Cody helped me find that the valve stem was leaking on the rear tire. They called their mechanic Cody who interrupted his day to come in and replace the valve stem. After 3 hours we were on our way thanks to their great service to fellow bikers. Hope this shop goes out of business! I've spent whole morning in Redondo beach calling around to find jet kit for my 2009 KLR650 so I can get it installed that day and head down to Mexico to join some friends. Josh (one of guys working there) confirms twice over phone that they have in stock and that they're gonna save it for me. I bother my friend to drive me 200 miles (100 miles each way) for 5 hours just to get this kit same day. We finally get there, the kit they have is not for 2009 KLR650!?!?!? Still in disbelief , Josh tells me that they can ship me right kit in next 3 days and they're gonna pay for shipping. I tried politely explain that I needed kit that day and that THEIR MISTAKE not only wasted half of my day, but it messed up my whole trip, and it wasted my friend's time and gas. I asked if they can at least give few bucks to my friend for gas since at that point it was too late for me to find this kit elsewhere. If they were to do this and apologized for it, I wouldn't be posting this review. They said they're not gonna do that. In other words all my and my friend's trouble, wasted time, messed plans, gas expenses, which was ALL THEIR FAULT meant nothing to them. Chris Stiles (who apparently owns this company) is a classless, ignorant guy with no basic human skills. He showed no understanding or willingness to do anything about it at which point we left still in disbelief. Absolutely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and I really wish you take your business elsewhere. read more

I purchased two windshields from the Starcycle e-bay store. One did not fit. I returned it in new condition, uninstalled, with all packaging, and instructions unharmed and they still charged me a 20% restocking fee for something they will just resell as new. read more
