My mom introduced my kids to claw machines and they fell in love. I knew it would be a pricey outing but they really enjoyed themselves. The machines were mostly winnable. I noticed the 2 machines with Pokémon plushies in them were noticeably harder to win. They have workers walking around and rearranging the plushies to be able to win easier. And if they noticed you having an extra hard time, I've seen both set it up to basically guarantee you win. This type of customer service was the reason I went back and bought the second $100 round. You obviously do not need to spend as much as I did but I enjoyed watching my kids having fun. Even though my 2 year old was refusing help and would essentially waste the tokens. She double tapped and pushed the claw down the shoot at least 20 times but she really wanted to do it herself so I let her. At the end, we had enough to trade up for anything. And all my daughter really wanted were the toy story plushies. They traded at 2 for 1. The lotso was won in one of the machines. The alien was not out but when the worker noticed my daughter wanting the toy story characters, she told us to wait a minute because she thinks there's alien in the back. She came back with one and my daughter had to have it. So we traded 8 plushies for Woody, Buzz, Hamm, and an alien. As we were leaving, I had extras to trade but not enough for the really big ones or anything I really wanted. That's when one of the workers (I really wish I got her name. But she worked today, 8/19 at around 3pm) told me about their credit system. You can give them the plushies you'd like to use as trade in credit and they put it into their system with your name and number for next time to use. I love this since you cannot trade them once you walk out with them. I'll be back when my budget allows my kids to run wild again.

The screen they were showing Back To The Future on was relatively small and just wasn't an all around enjoyable size for the large group of people in the park. What this appeared to be was something that wasn't a too well thought out idea had they had a bigger screen we might have stayed longer than the first few minutes of the movie. The atmosphere on the other hand was killer I mean come on your in a park next to the awesomeness that is the Packing District so that was definitely a plus as was the free admission to the event. Hopefully they do this again sometime and put a bit more planning into the event as it could potently be a spectacular family friendly outing for all ages to enjoy!

We didn't get to stay long to play the games we wanted since it was crowded and the game we wanted was pretty popular. Would like to try again next time and will bring our card for a refill!

[Parking]: There is a parking structure across the street for 4th Street Market. I had no issue finding free street parking in this part of town on Sunday afternoon. [Token pricing]: The standard price is $20 for 22 tokens. There is a $5 minimum purchase for 5 tokens. The more expensive the bundle package, the more bonus tokens players will receive. [How to play]: Each machine only needs either 1 or 2 tokens per play. Players can ask a team member if they need help. Plushies that leave the store cannot be returned or traded in later. The store offers a guaranteed catch policy which means that after spending $5, a player is guaranteed to leave with at least one plushie (Just let a team member know if this happens). The Cinema is known for it's screening of Steamboat Willie from 1928, the very first synchronized sound cartoon featuring Mickey Mouse! There are some benches that you can sit inside and watch the films. It's also air conditioned if you're looking to take a break during the summer! I lowkey wish my house looked like The Haunted Mansion - cobwebs and all! I'm not sure if I like the OG version of the ride or the Nightmare Before Christmas version that runs from the Halloween season through the end of the year. With the NBC version, Jack Skellington AKA Sandy Claws takes over the mansion which mixes Halloween and Christmas and all of his creepy friends are along for the ride! Oh, and the NBC version smells like gingerbread when you go through the big ballroom scene! They even create a different gingerbread house every year too! I think I enjoy both versions equally! During our last visit, there was always a super long wait time, but we finally were able to get a fast pass on the Disneyland app to ride it. We even rode it a second time on our last day and literally walked on at 11:30pm at night! There is no height requirement and is a family friendly ride - if they can handle it! Reserved seating areas involve sitting on the ground only. So pack ur blanket and cushions. If opting out of dinner package there are a lot of standing areas but it does get very crowded. Plan to save your spot early. If you're not really into it it's a great time to ride haunted mansion nearby. The wait wasnt very long during the first showing.
