We were greeted promptly upon walking in and the staff walked us through their most popular drinks. I settled on La Dolce and my wife got the 100 Acre. Both are fantastic. They seem to use local ingredients where they can. The have a few tables and a sofa for seating. My favorite touch is the little library and art supply library they have. Such a fun idea!

I ordered the lavender matcha with vanilla cold foam, and I really enjoyed it. I also tried the avocado toast, which was simple but fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is so inviting that my cousin and I made ourselves comfortable in one of the seating areas and enjoyed a long conversation. It's the kind of place where you can truly relax and unwind. Made a visit to the store on January 20 and the young man they took my order was great! I witnessed it firsthand while I was waiting for my order that a very busy situation was handled by him and the staff with the poise. I came back again today around the same time and it was a lot slower, but he had the same attitude as well as another lady that took my order in the drive-through. All I can say is get job guys! I just had one of the best customer service experiences at this Starbucks, and I had to leave a review. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. You can tell the team here genuinely cares about their customers--not just rushing people through a line, but actually creating a positive moment in your day. The barista who took my order greeted me with a big smile and made small talk that felt genuine, not forced. Another employee complimented my earrings (which totally made my morning), and the person who handed me my drink even double-checked my name and order with kindness and patience. It's rare to find a place where every single staff member brings that level of care and friendliness. It wasn't just great coffee--it was the whole experience that made it special. I recently visited your store and ordered a hot coffee (pike coffee) to-go. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that my coffee was not double cupped as they usually do so in other local Starbucks stores. We just drove through yesterday and everything went smoothly. The broistas are always so helpful and friendly and the drinks come out correctly. My wife tried something different for her - an iced-911. I went with my standard - iced Electric Berry Rebel. Cold and refreshing and helped us make the drive all the way back to Mesa.

With that being said, it's alright to ask a customer how their day is going, if they have any plans, blah blah, it's harmless. However; when it's clear that they're doing that just to get a tip, it becomes a nuisance. Don't try to butter me up because you know you're going to put that iPad in my face with the usual "it's just going to ask you a quick question", please spare me the fake manners. Especially when they IMMEDIATELY switch up in attitude the moment you hit no tip. It's one thing to ask for a tip if you're out in the hot sun walking up to cars, that's the only time I consider giving it if the personality doesn't seem too fake. But if I'm walking up to the window, or if there's no line and I drive straight up to the window to place my order, do not put that iPad in my face. Dutch bros needs to change the way they do this, these folks have gone from perceiving tips as compensation for exceptional service, to expecting it as a baseline. You are doing your job, you are working the legal wage you accepted when you signed to apply for the position. Do not play me for a fool and assume just because you asked "what I'm getting into today", that I'm suddenly going to feel obliged to give you free money, that's not how human interactions work. If the employees not walking up to my car, they need to not ask for a tip, Dutch bros needs to instruct their employees of this. If I didn't enjoy the coffee and if I didn't believe they were instructed to do this, I'd rate it one star and never come back. However, I know that's not the case. Hopefully they fix this.
