Raquel you're amazing! Raquel not only wished me a happy birthday but the smile on her face made me being with pride that it was my special day and I should enjoy it. I don't particularly come with the fond family unfortunately but I am so thankful and grateful for those who treat others as they want to be treated. They went above and beyond to make me feel like my day was for me. Forever humble and forever grateful. To the manager you're amazing! I absolutely love when managers give their employees that room to shine and to give the customer an experience. To the young man who gave me a surprise you're amazing!! HORRIBLE SMELL!! I walked in here a couple days ago and the workers greeted me; I was acknowledged, which was good. However, the smell was rank. I asked for a moment to look at the menu, but it smelled so sour, I had to leave. I decided to go to the starbucks by costco instead. It smells good there. read more

Starbucks - So clean! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Yakima, Washington

Stopped by around 6:30pm on a Monday, looking for some hot green tea to fuel our drive home to Portland. My boyfriend asked to see the tea menu, and the barista waved her hand under the tea sign quite rudely. It was very condescending and not what we were looking for. I said to her, "we're looking for a hot green tea," and she replied they didn't have any. I was shocked and asked again, "a hot green tea?" She said they only have iced. Very disappointed in the selection and the treatment. read more

Music is too loud. It's just a rock out palace for the employees. You can't read or do any work and you'd have to yell to have a conversation. At least the food and coffee is good. read more

Every time I've been through this Starbucks, the same person has been the order taker. He's the most outgoing, friendly, and voluntarily helpful drive thru employee I've ever encountered. He's never irritated when I take a long time to order, and he always greets me pleasantly when I get to the window. I wish I knew his name, so I could mention him, because he certainly deserves special treatment. Not that the other employees I've encountered here haven't been equally nice! Starbucks employees are typically pretty amazing. This store today (morning of 6/6) gave me a very sour experience. I waited at the mobile pickup counter for several minutes with no one acknowledging me. There were three or four employees that seemingly didn't make eye contact because they were too focused on their tasks and didn't want a distraction. I placed an order well ahead of when I needed it, because I was picking it up for an appointment. I knew it had to be done for that reason and because a few customers came in after me, ordered and received their items. I finally asked an employee about my order and ... they said, "Food comes out in the order it's ordered." And "I'm just making the drinks." I waited another minute, slightly bewildered by that response and that she didn't get my name for the order to find out the specific status. I finally asked, "can I talk to the right person then?" As it turns out, the second person did have my order.... just sitting on her counter.... the entire time I had been waiting. This Starbucks desperately needs to train their employees on how to interact with customers. Despite the busy schedule, they should be looking up to offer assistance to customers standing at the mobile order counter, like every other Starbucks does, and any customer facing employee should not be curt with customers. read more

This is one of the best Starbucks locations anywhere! It is clean, has attentive employees, gets orders correct, and is clean...wait, I said that, but this is important as so many are not. The quality of this Starbucks may be due to local competition that many corporate stores do not have to fight. I was in Yakima for 5 days and stopped by this location at least 4 times...I will also return next time I am in the area! read more

Had the worst customer service ever from a Starbucks barista. Had an email for a reward drink dated 2 weeks ago. No expiration date . 1st she couldn't remember my drink then said to bad u don't have a free drink as email states. You will have to pay for it in a snotty teenager attitude, felt like I was being treated snotty because of my age (over 50) Asked for a manager she refused to get the manager, I asked again to speak with a manager she then closed the drive thru window waved bye bye. So I honked the horn to get the attention of another barista. He came to the window I asked a 3rd time for a manager. Finally spoke to someone. The whole time she was making faces at me from behind the manager. The manager apologized remade my drink and honored the email. Asked for the baristas name and called corporate to complain. District manager suppose to call me back. Will update this review after I speak with the district mgr. Unusual for Starbucks to have this bad customer service. I just ordered my usual Starbucks drink at the drive up: nonfat grande iced white mocha with 3 pumps of the chocolate. I pulled up to the window and was handed a very obvious mocha, not white mocha. No problem, people make mistakes. My huge issue is what happened next: the girl argued with me. I ordered 4 pumps of white chocolate and 3 pumps of mocha chocolate by saying that I guess? SHE WASN'T GOING TO CHANGE IT AT FIRST! Who in their right mind orders 7 pumps of anything in a grande? If I would have specified 3 pumps of the WHITE chocolate, would I have gotten 7 pumps still going by that logic? How does that even make sense? Wouldn't you question a ludicrous amount of chocolate? Isn't what she made me a zebra mocha? Hmm.... Even if she REALLY thought I ordered that, admit to the confusion and just re-make it. So rude. Don't lecture me please. No other Starbucks location has EVER been confused by that order let alone so rude. Beyond Starbucks, be able to admit wrong and be humble. I wouldn't have thought twice. Still had to ask for a straw. Never going back to this location EVER. Was just really needing a Starbucks fix! read more

Overall I love this coffee house. However coffee drinkers who love BREWED dark roasted coffee can definitely taste the difference when you give them a "pour-over" instead without letting them know first. It's annoying as all get out when you're 3 blocks away and it's a pour over. Don't do that. Thanks! read more

This was my "go-to" Starbucks while in Yakima three days for a conference. It's a short 7-10 minute drive from the Holiday Inn/Yakima Convention Center area and well worth it. They have friendly service, there's a drive-thru, they have the full food selection, and the drinks are great. read more
