Mari was a doll to say the least. She asked me if I had the app. I said "yes, but I never use it". She looked at me in shock and said I needed to start. She let me download the app while I placed my order at the register. There was no one in line but I was still anxious. "No rush. Are you in a rush? Because I'm not" she said with a smile. Ordered a venti size latte with almond milk. Wait time was a little bit longer than expected. I usually order via the app so its rest at the pickup area when I arrive. It's just easy to pay thru the app and making any customization to the order. The latte was fine. Rich bold flavor. Furthermore, the app does give u a reward program where u a due points for each purchase, and then can redeem them for free items or discounted customizations. My husband and all my in laws & family are traveling and just went to this location we waited for a long time and only wanted to pay for cups, once we got to the front we asked if we could just pay for the cups because we're not making an order. I believe it was the manger but a tall man in a dressy black shirt told my sister in law with me "I'm only one person you can wait" . This was rude and bad customer service . Even with short staff they are rude staff. One person did stop and help us which was a young white man with glasses. So my family thanks this young man only. I observed the worker working the warming food prepare 15 pastries before dropping it off at the pick up station to Then proceed to throw the food to the counter. I visit Starbucks almost everyday and sometimes multiple times a day, but this particular location seriously sucks. The staff here doesn't care about their customers and often take their time chatting instead of acknowledging clients and taking orders. They always mess my order up. Every. Single. Time. I always have to spend additional time here to wait for them to correct the order they annihilated. It wouldn't be so bad if they were at least friendly, but they're not. Customers here seem to be a burden on them. I'm glad I moved out of the area because at least I don't have to come here often. read more

They make stupid comments about customers who get refills. They also charge for coconut milk for iced coffee when it's always free. I hate when employees talk about customers right in front of other customers, so rude. Update they have a new drink called the nitro and I been getting it everyday now and never had a problem with a refill now today they tell me your not allowed to get a refill of this drink. The lady got mad because she mad a wrong drink that I didn't order and when I told her I was getting a refill of the nitro she said no you can't get that!!! What do you mean I can't get that. This location is located near other stores one rt 1 and has parking available. The irony is Dunkin' Donuts is in the same strip. The employees are friendly but if you order food, they are a bit unorganized. Instead of bringing your food to the pickup area, they call your name and expect you to come over to them. The drinks are fine. I haven't had any issues but just had to wait a little longer than other Starbucks location in north jersey. This location also doesn't have a drive thru but you can skip the line making to place your order if you order through the store app. If you happened to order in store, make sure you asked for a receipt. Apparently, if you pay at the cashier through your Starbucks app, they don't print out receipt. Your app will have a lump sum charge so good luck on figuring out what the cashier rung up itemized. There's wifi and a few seats so if your lucky to grab a seat and have a few minutes to indulge, why not surf the net? read more

Stand alone location right off of route 1 going north. Its very convenient for folks who live south and going up north to work. The location is clean but a bit small comparing to other locations. It does have parking and located right next to Sleepy's. They have pretty much the standard items that a typical Starbucks have. I am biased when I come to this location. Pending on the staff working there, it can go from a 5 star to a 3 star. That's why they get the middle. There are plenty of parking outside, but a lot of customers come here. Every Starbucks I go to, this is the location I compare them too. It is a smaller location then some. But it just feels cozy. For as much people in the store, when I do post up on a chair, it feels empty in a good way. I can focus on whatever I am doing on the laptop or phone. They don't have a gigantic display like most stores. The focus is to get customers in and out and provide good service. As for the employees, the 5* ones are amazing. They always have a smile and are friendly. They always have good recommendations or secret recipes. When they are working, it's like seeing an old friend and good small talk. The 3* employees, all I ask is don't mess up an easy order. And don't start preparing your friends drink before mine, when i'm ahead of them. read more

I think the only location worse than this one was the Woodbridge mall one. I have been a gold member for years and have been to various Starbucks locations. For some reason, this Starbucks always messed up on my order. My drink would either be missing ingredients ie. no lemonade in my shaken tea lemonade or no chocolate in my chocolaty chip frapp or whole milk instead of soy milk in my coffee, keeping in mind soy milk is extra. I have noticed they changed up their staff lately so things have been improving. They haven't been messing up on my orders lately so we'll see if they keep this up. I hope they do because it is so inconvenient to have to drive all the way to Menlo mall to get a good drink. Let me tell you, I swear Menlo mall's Starbucks has never messed up on my drink. I'm sure they have messed up on various drinks as they can't be perfect, but never on mine. So some days I didn't feel like dealing with the aggravation of this Starbucks and although it is closer to me I would drive all the way to Menlo to get my drink. read more

OMG. Came here to do work and I literally felt like I was in the middle of the employees conversation the whole time. They are standing next to each other yelling. It's nuts. Then everyone that came in that they knew, they're screaming across the place to say Hi???? I know they are young, but it's more than that. This Starbucks is located on Route 1 in Woodbridge in the same lot as Big Shots, Avenue, Qdoba and Sleepy's. I have been coming to this Starbucks location nearly every day for over ten years. Their drinks are always made perfectly. The Baristas are phenomenal. Super Fast. Super Friendly. They go above and beyond to engage with my three kids and perfect their drinks as well! Our favorite drinks are the Iced Sweetened Starbucks Double Shot, Iced Caramel Macchiato with Double Extra Caramel, Iced Sweetened Passion Tea Lemonade and the kids love their Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino. Choose a tasty treat and get it warmed, they are to die for. read more

I never understood why people would buy such high priced coffee. My wife being one of those folks. But she loves it. I myself do not drink coffee. But she say it is the best you can buy. The lines are long and the price is high. But the service is fast and friendly. So that alone makes this place a winner. I always come here. They usually get my orders right but I just walked out of this Starbucks completely unsatisfied. They cashier took my orders but idk how the barristers didnt have the order. I was waiting, they saw me waiting and decided to ask me what am I waiting on. I told them I what I was having. They proceeded to making it- not completely listening to what I told them, they just made their own thing! A tall and venti shaken iced green tea with two scoops of matcha and lemonade unsweetened. I went to this location this morning at 10:40 before i had to go to work. it was busy, but Alexis (she might be new i'm not sure) was probably the rudest employee there. after waiting 15 minutes for a venti white guava tea lemonade, i asked her how long the wait will be. she gave me the nastiest attitude i've received from a starbucks employee. she said they ran out of guava and said she'll do peach. i was so fed up with her i said ok whatever and this is probably the worst tea i've had from starbucks. she took her sweet time and i was late for work because of her lack of effort and work ethic.
