It's a fine Starbucks, especially if you're staying at one of the Courtyard Inn, Springhill Suites, Residence Inn, or one of the other many-a-hotels that are in the ever densely populated Woodbridge VA. However, I'd keep in mind of a few things: 1) If you're within walking distance of Starbucks, try ordering on the Starbucks app and then walk over to Starbucks. Main reason for that is.... 2) The service here is quite slow. At least compared to my NYC standards. Especially when you make the mistake of ordering food - of which there is limited supply. I was only here because I was in the surrounding area for a wedding, so I ventured here a couple times. Barista's attitude was HORRIBLE. I'm not one to complain and take drinks back but that drink was absolutely disgusting. The woman at the register was very polite and helped out with my decision on what to order. But the girl who made my drink had an attitude the whole time I was in the store. Just miserable. I got the drink I ordered and there was WAY too much coffee and it tasted bitter. When I came back in the store to ask for it to get remade she immediately knew what I came back in for. She remade the drinks and it tasted a bit better but there still was not enough ice. This was my second time going there and the first time I went everything was great...but her attitude. I think Addison or whatever her name is needs to remember she's working at a job where you have to be welcoming in order to keep people coming back. I dropped my better half off at IKEA and had about an hour to wait. Even though it was past 8pm the staff was alert and friendly. I let them know I was going to stay till about closing - 9pm on their door - and that I was going to order something right before I left. They took my order for then and later, charged me for both, and when I went back for the second drink I saw the barista wrote himself a note so all he had to do was see me approaching the ordering area and he want right to whipping the drink up. I was staying at the Courtyard right behind this Starbucks location and was excited to stop in on my way into work... but unfortunately this location doesn't open until 6 am so I was only able to stop in here 1 time while in town. I was also bummed to find out this location does not have a drive thru so unless you use the app you have to go inside to order. After going inside I was greeted right away and a young lady and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted the impossible sandwich and was told they don't have that at this location. After ordering my coffee and as I am about to pay her coworker corrected her and said they did in fact have that sandwich... so I ordered that as well. There were 3 other people inside with one that had ordered through the app and was very unhappy with their wait. My food/drink was ready in about 10 mins and I was on my way. My coffee was just ok but my sandwich was good. I would recommend not stopping at this location if you're in a hurry. read more

Surprised the line was a tad bit long so early on a Saturday morning. After getting to the register it did not take long to place out orders and get our drinks. Store was very clean which is a plus. It's location can serve as a nightmare by day because of its is a busy strip. It's close to the highway too if you need a quick pit stop. read more

I'm not sure what's the best rating for this. I don't come here often but when I do I order a tall dark roast. No cream no sugar just black. Out of the last 4 times I've been here I've had to wait almost 10 minutes from the time I paid till I've gotten my coffee. The reason... they are always out of plain coffee both the dark and the Pike. They always have to make fresh which is nice having fresh coffee but what if you are in a hurry? I mean people order these extravagant frozen drinks after I order a black coffee and get their drinks before I get mine. This Starbucks is an average Starbucks. It is in a very busy area so it's often filled with customers . Some of the staff is very friendly and have good customer service . Other times I have encountered staff at this location that seem like they'd rather be talking amongst each other than take my order . There's one girl that works there she has short hair and wears glasses, I believe she's a manager she is so friendly and the regulars all know her and make sure to say hello . Unfortunately I do not know her name but she's great . The staff starts cleaning in this location probably 2 hours in advance of closing so if your in there working on your laptop the closer it gets to checkout time you will start feeling the pressure to pack up and go home . This isn't my favorite location . Since they close so early and like I mentioned w the clean up . I don't spend a lot of time at this location but when I do not feel like venturing off this is where I go to get a drink and be on my way . read more

So, I was going through the reviews. So negative -- sheesh! I have to disagree with a majority. Typically, I do not like to put out reviews, however, this location has been amazing! I have to be at work by 5:30 am and the staff here, know your drink and are ready to go. I did want to give a special shout out to 'Mama' - i don't know her real name :(, but she was extremely sweet! This is officially one of the WORST Starbucks I have visited to date. Rude Barista's, cold espresso, and HORRIBLE mixed coffee drinks....Every time I leave this location I think..."Why must you take steamy heaping crap on my morning every time I visit." Do yourself a favor...head to the next closest location. It may be a few more minutes until you get your daily cup of sanity, but at least you'll get it. Will not return, nor recommend. On my first and only visit, former employees and regulars who were after me in line received their drinks before me. When my drink came along the barista decided to ponder whether or not my drink needed whip with said former employees and regulars, instead of asking if I wanted it. Her verbalized decision on that was "well I'm just gonna do it." Honestly, I was second in line when I ordered and paid, and was the last out 13 minutes later. When I got to work and mentioned what had happened I got a resounding "oh don't ever go there, that one is terrible...super slow and bad customer service." Wish I'd asked before I bothered, but clearly I'm not alone in my experience. It seems if you're willing to wait out the "getting to know you" period to become a regular, you'll be aces! However it's a business, so I believe you shouldn't have to work that hard to give away your money. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST STARBUCKS I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! I worked for Starbucks for over 4 years on and off so I know policy and hold the establishment to the standard I know exists. I have been to this Starbucks around 20 times as I live close by and more often than not, I am very disappointed. THIS IS THE SLOWEST STARBUCKS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! It does not matter if they are busy or not. The employees often ask customers to wait so they can catch up even though the drive through and lobby are only moderately busy at best. I wait on average 20 MINUTES for a drink. I have seen customers walk out without drinks because of how long they have been waiting and tell the employees as much only to be laughed at after they walk out. Also, DON'T EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO MODIFY ANYTHING at this location as they are completely incapable of doing so or even trying to fulfill the customers request. Today for example, they took my order down as cold twice and made it wrong twice before I finally settled for a MEDIOCRE beverage that cost right at $6.00. This is ridiculous and an EMBARRASSMENT to the company. I would highly advise against going to this particular Starbucks if you are familiar with the company and frequent Starbucks due to high quality products and exceptional service because both are severely lacking at this location. read more

There is like 2 people that work here I enjoy seeing; however, they can be really slow, which is a manifestation of Starbucks poor production layout and product delivery/assembly line. Furthermore, the food preparation is chaotic and time is wasted by the cashiers in the back and forth between customers and food orders. While four employees may be in the store at times, there is only one cashier and one barista with a line of five people waiting 10-15 minutes. The ordering ahead has further compounded the issue resulting in longer delays for regulars whom operate the old fashioned way. That said, even the new drive-thru (sic) a mile up the road is much slower in comparison; therefore, this Starbucks is still your best bet if heading to work via PWC parkway to 95. read more

Convenient to I-95, but it seems to be under new management. If you're a decaf drinker and you want a quick cuppa java, pass this store by. They no longer brew decaf coffee. Decaf must be made ever so slowly via the "brew thru" method, or you have to line up and wait for a decaf americano made by the barista. Not good news after standing in line waiting to order.
