I have been to a lot of Starbucks (haven't we all) this is by far the nicest! The staff was so kind and welcoming. It was pouring rain and someone was always making sure the floor was dry, but continued to warn customers that it might be slick. You could hear the staff working together to ensure everyone received a break after the morning rush. I really appreciate that, especially today. My food and drink were excellent. I came because normally I get great customer service. This morning the customer service wasn't great. It was just ok. I walked in and waited several minutes for someone to take my order which isn't a big deal if someone had simply said," we'll be with you shortly". No one said anything but everyone saw me standing there. Finally one employee asked another to help me. This employee didn't ask me for my name which later was a problem because when my items were ready, they called out " sausage, egg and cheese for Cafe". Who is Cafe? Apparently it's me. SMH Then I came into the conference room to work on my laptop and 2 ladies, I'm assuming managers, proceeded to have the loudest conversations with employees and each other. This space was created I thought ,for people to work in a calm quiet atmosphere. It was anything but. Another customer got up, gathered his things and walked out. I think this was very inconsiderate of Starbucks employees especially managers. First of all Michelle is great!! So are Marcus, Erick, Bri, Celia, Dani, Andrew, Bonnie (you are missed!!), Killian, Katie, Xavier, and KP! These are hard workers. Sometimes they are so business I have to wait a few minutes, but that's ok. They're doing the best they can. I really wish other patrons would be more polite and compassionate. Haven't they ever been overwhelmed? I get friendly smiling faces every time, my drink is always as I like it and when that rare occasion happens that I pick up the wrong drink and sip it - they remake BOTH drinks! Just to make sure we are happy. That's not even their fault. But they go the extra mile - even for those who don't treat them with respect. Be the change you want to see in the world. No matter how many times I tell myself I won't go back to this Starbucks I still do. They can't quite ever get the cold brew salted caramel cold foam. Within seconds of having my drink the foam "split" like it was bad and the drink was bitter. This is pretty disappointing when you get one coffee and a bagel and pay close to $10. I guess I'll have to stick to my regular Starbucks in Greensboro. Service was good and facility was clean. read more

The drive through line was backed up so I went inside. Immediately, I felt a sense of calm and inviting on this cafe. I shared my thoughts with the hostess. The music was chill Jazz. And to top it off, they made a perfect Americano to my specificity. The coffee balance was on-point. And the hostess heated up the breakfast items to perfection. Starbucks usually wins because of its consistent and good coffee, but their food tends to be pretty good for what it is. I usually got a grande Americano, black. Today I also got a chorizo egg sandwich. The coffee was as expected, tasty and hot. The chorizo sandwich was ok - nothing special. I've had some of the others and this was probably the worst. I'm always surprised that they can charge $3+ for a microwaved sandwich, but it is logical to sell food with coffee and most will pay for the convenience. One day when I stopped by for coffee before work, I overheard some employees talking about a drink they messed up: it was supposed to be almond milk, but they made it with regular milk. As the guy that had made the mistake handed me my non-dairy beverage, he said, "oh well, they probably aren't actually allergic to dairy anyway." I don't think he realized the irony of the situation. The remodel sucks, by the way. The private study room is gone and the cozy atmosphere has been replaced with hard tables and chairs. Drink pickup is tucked in a corner, where it used to be on the end where seating is located. I used to frequent this location, but no longer. I love a white mocha so that's the reason for the 3 stars. Out of consideration for other customers (it was about 11 am on a Tuesday), we parked our vehicle with trailer in the back of the parking lot and I went inside to order. I made a mental note of the last vehicle in the drive through line. It took me 10 MINUTES to get my coffee after ordering and paying for it. There was 1 other customer inside who had already ordered and was waiting for her coffee. There were 2 employee coffees made before mine and I know they were ordered after mine on the same register. I said to the staff "well I guess I should haven't come inside because I would have gotten my order much sooner if I had blocked your drive through" Then the excuses began- we complete orders as we receive them, etc. Obviously not true as multiple orders after mine were completed before mine. I am completely unimpressed and disappointed. I specifically asked the girl to load $12 from my $20 onto my card. She also said she didn't have any balking but we could go inside to get the ones in the front for our sandwiches... When I asked for my $8 when she was rushing me off... She said oops I loaded all of it. She was completely unaware of what was going on. She said sorry but didn't try to remedy the situation or give me my money back. And then went on to talk me out of getting my money back because she would have to void it etc. since I asked for it back. Michelle had a horrible attitude while taking our drive thru order 10/29 around 5pm. She made it clear that she was annoyed to take separate orders from the window. She also told us that certain food items weren't available but then would have to take it back after asking. Then we drove up to the window ready to have an attitude, only to be greeted by a sweet young guy who just started working there and was super friendly. What's unique about this location is that they have a special 'quite room' you can go into. It's pretty nifty if you need to get away for a little bit or study. There's also many tables and couches for when you want the normal Starbucks experience. Downside: the bathrooms are not kept up. The staff was slow and ignored us a few times when we were trying to figure out where our order of a plain black coffee was. We've frequented this Starbucks since we moved here a year ago. They always do a great job and if there is a mistake, rare bit life happens, they correct it immediately and even if it costs more they cover it. As for Baristas, Devlin has been our family's favorite from the first day we heard his awesome radio quality voice and personality over the drivethru speaker! I am currently working right down the street from this Starbucks, and the Reynolda Rd. location is closer to my home. One day I decided to go to this place during a QUICK lunch break & was disappointed. First of all, I was the only one in line & it took about 12 minutes to finally get my S'mores frapp. Once I finally got my frapp, it had NO coffee in it. I looked at it & immediately realized there was no coffee in it since it was a light, creamy color, & there was also no Graham cracker crumbles on the top or marshmallow whipped cream in the bottom. I tapped on the window & told another young man (I assume he was the manager) that there was no coffee in this drink. He acted surprised, went to make me a new frapp (by this time there were 4 cars behind me), upon getting my second drink, again there were no graham cracker crumbles or supplemental whipped cream in the bottom. This literally took 25 minutes for something that should have taken 5-7. I didn't even care to bother asking about it by this point, since I felt bad for holding up the line. I have never had such a frustrating experience with a Starbucks location before & this won't steer me away from the company, but definitely this location. HOW do you not know how to make some of your newer, more in demand drinks?! This location has a drive threw which is a huge bonus. I tried their new cheese danish and it was great. It tasted more like a bakery danish rather than a frozen one.
