The only reason this location doesn't sink to a two‑star abyss is Hannah, the early morning manager. She's the human equivalent of free Wi‑Fi: reliable, life‑saving, and far too good for what she's stuck managing. I've shown up half‑asleep, ordered completely the wrong thing, fumbled my app like it's a Rubik's Cube--and she still fixes it with a smile at five in the morning. The barista had an attitude because I wasn't sure of what I wanted and changed my mind a few times. It's not my fault the menu is confusing. If you can't handle a simple change of drink, before it's even being made, don't work at Starbucks or in customer service. There were kids behind me annoyed that I was holding up the line. Derin who works in there is the rudest person I have EVER met he made my daughter cry and stand outside in the thunder and lighting rain because she was with her friend who ordered but she had not placed an order, and even though the store was essentially empty, he made her stand outside in the thunderstorm while her friend waited for her order. Worst costumer service of my life I wil NOT be coming back there and I recommend they do some about his attitude fast or they will lose a lot more customer's. This is completely unacceptable and the way he spoke to my daughter and her friend is appaling they are 13 years old this is not okay and as a parent I am disappointed. I don't believe I am alone in this as I have heard many other bad experiences with him as well. This location is walkable from my home and during the pandemic it was working out great when I ordered ahead. Order is always ready quickly but my coffee/ hot chocolate has not been hot the last few times I visited. Strange, because it is not sitting in the pickup area a long time. Cons: The Starbuck's itself is an odd shape, and with just a few people in line it feels very cramped. There are always TONS of screaming children in here which can be distracting and annoying. But that's the nature of going to a Starbuck's around drop off time and near a school, in a family-oriented community. Pros: This Starbuck's is located conveniently on my way to work from downtown Boston to Burlington. There's ample street parking at around 8/830 am, which is very handy. I come here often because it's in my town and right in the center. I like to come here in the afternoon at around 2:30 and there are always middle school kids coming for frappuccinos after school. That is one of the cons of this location since the kids come here since it's right near the school. Other than that, I have had no problems with this particular Starbucks. Yes, it is smaller than the average Starbucks and the seating is crammed and there's never any seats open. But, there is nothing wrong with this Starbucks in my opinion. This location is ok. On multiple occasions I'd run in to grab a quick salad or a yogurt but they are usually out of everything! Mid day! Or their choices are lacking and they're only stocked on one kind of yogurt (today they only have the honey Greek yogurt). No salads left, just a brown rice bowl. Very disappointing. They sometimes have a great zesty chicken and black bean salad with a delicious red dressing but I've gone in at least 4 times and it's not in stock. Service is also just ok. It's hit or miss. In the mornings I think the employees are much friendlier. As for drinks, I've never had a problem - they do a good job keeping up with typical Starbucks standards on that front. One last thing - if you're a fan of coffee from the Clover then you're in luck! This location has it although I haven't tried it myself (only at other locations). I usually prefer non chain cafes but this place would do for a fix. read more

You know what, I hate coffee... I do... I hate the smell and I hate the drink but even I like Starbucks. Almost every one I know drinks coffee and so I get drug into a coffee shop all the time doing the, "Thanks but no thanks..." as I also do not drink tea. Their strawberry banana smoothies are AWESOME! Parking is terrible. Their mobile order timing is always 5-10 mins longer than what the app says. The baristas rarely even say you're name so, if you're not paying attention, you may wait longer. There is one barista on bar with 15 drinks in line. The only reason I come here is because it's the only Starbucks on my way to work. The staff here can sometimes be a little "in your face" chipper. But maybe that's just how it feels when you are in bad need of caffeine. I have to agree with everyone else that the layout of this Starbuck's is poor. The placement of the counter so near the door creates a packed front entrance even when there are just a few people in line. I also agree that this Starbuck's is also very family orientated (considering we're in Winchester) so it's never been the ideal place for me to get some reading or computer work done. The door ends up being held open due to the long line so you are subject to multiple dogs barking, children whining for Starbuck's treats, and a LOT of social chattering. That being said, it's a great place to meet up and chat with a friend, you won't feel like you have to be "quiet." read more

Unimpressed with store cleanliness and awareness. I placed an empty half and half bottle on the counter in front of the barista which he ignored for 20 minutes. Four people at the registers with only one register operating while it was fairly busy. Poor organization at this location with dirty tables, filthy coffee mixing area and an inability to leave room for milk. While I was happy to have plenty of product, I noticed numerous people dumping coffee in the overflowing trash. Nobody asks a simple "room for milk?" question. Newly decorated, interior is nice. Hard to get a table unless you want to camp out. Staff seems easily overwhelmed during the morning rush or if you make the mistake of going there whem school lets out.
