If anyone else was open at 6:30 am on a Sunday morning for my coffee and laptop time, I'd have gone there. I do try hard to avoid Starbucks when possible! This visit was good and with enough cream and sugar, the sins of Starbucks overroasting is going to be covered up. Wifi worked well and when I left after an hour, my laptop was charged as was my phone. [Review 20632 overall - 179 in Illinois - 1613 of 2023.] read more

I am so upset , ive been coming the past few times and they keep making the coffee like crap. I ask for cold foam on top and they put a tiny sprinkle that's nearly even there and they're just rushing drinks now, making them with no love. Really ruins my morning when I get a shitty coffee. other locations do it better but sadly this is the closest one to me read more

Was not expecting a "mix it yourself" drink, especially with the ice carelessly thrown on top? Also a tall blonde female worker goes "he better fucking like it" to another employee as if the window wasn't open. Awful all around lol. read more

No flavor at all, I ask extra caramel and nope barely nothing!! And the cashier give me bad attitude and I bit of racism towards me!! Sweet little Starbucks. Next to Chipotle, this location has a couple comfy chairs and a few tables for coffee dates. Out front is a shaded patio with plenty of extra seating. The baristas are great. The older lady that took my order reminded me of my grandmother -- soft-spoken and happy to be there. And when a giant wasp threatened me while working on my laptop, a couple of the workers rallied together to capture and get rid of it. I also had a few pleasant exchanges with several other customers, which added to the whole sweet experiences. People were friendly and aware of each other, not with earplugs and eyes glued to a screen. Thanks for the iced green tea latte, Starbucks! read more

So, a guy I know really likes coffee shops and this location is one of his favorites. I, personally, am not a fan of this location, but it has very little to do with the service we've received. My biggest complaint about this is the location. It's hard to get into and out of, the drive-thru is tiny and makes the parking next to Starbucks hard to navigate. The outdoor seating is basically a view of the drive-thru and a busy street. It's also sits dangerously close to the cars going in and out of the parking lot/drive-thru-- not thanks, I'll sit inside. Parking on the Chipotle side is a bit easier, but there's still limited parking during peak times and it's not always easy to get back out to the street. The inside is a bit better, but it's a very small location. There's some bench seating with tall chairs and some normal size tables that fit a few people each, but I imagine on a busy day during peak time, it would be hard to find a seat! Even when it's been half filled at 6:30 at night or later, I've felt like I was right on top of people or that I was bothering those who came to work by talking. All in all, it's just not my favorite feeling and it has a lot to do with how small this place really is compared to other locations. As far as the staff, they've always been very kind and helpful. We've never received anything other than what we asked. Starbucks doesn't have a ton of tea options, so I'm basically stuck with choosing between black or green tea, but usually, the guy I'm with orders more complicated things and he's never had any problems with them. So, basically the main failures of this Starbucks come from the location, not the staff or service. read more

This is my go to Starbucks and Sharon rocks. All of the employees I have encountered over the years are really nice. Drink up and wake up.

$3.89 for a quad espresso is more than anywhere else. Window worker said the other stores must not be charging for cream. Average $3.16 to $3.33 per history photos supplied with review. The quad itself was great. read more

They make really nice drinks, but the service is slow and very crowded, not clean all the time, and slow.

Worst starbucks I've ever been. Its not even busy but all of our drinks were done wrong.

Customer service is great, the drive-thru line can get pretty long but it moves quick. Every time I've been here my orders have been made consistently. Whenever I go to restaurants, I look for consistency, I want my orders to made the same way every time even if there's different people making it. I've been to other Starbucks and my favorite drink always tasted different than the last time, and for how much I'm paying for it, it's a let down. This Starbucks gets it right, every time! read more

Mediocre, very mediocre, go to Chipotle for much better food for about the same cost....

I am not your typical Starbucks customer. I think I could count on one hand how many times I have been to one in the last 5 years. I went because my daughter wanted to go. It is a nice enough place. Near the mall and attached to a Chipotle (best attribute). Great selection but don't think you are gonna get a Diet Coke with your sandwich, there is none. read more

Go thru the drive-thru, if you aren't eating/drinking inside. You will lose a year of your life waiting for your order inside. I've FINALLY learned. Pays to be lazy. I could be the ONLY customer in the entire place and I will wait 10 minutes for 1 drink....meanwhile, I'm watching 10 cars whiz through the drive-thru line, outside. Drive-thru is this stores number 1 priority....proven time and time again. read more

Super as most. Today was the drive through. Really nice employees and the line moved fairly well. Drink was perfect (green tea latte) Also had a egg cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich which was good. Like Mcd but less greasy and more "real" tasting. Lastly was my favorite the Michigan cherry bar. Yumm. Anyways good spot, line is usually long so be prepared, but again that's most good Starbucks. read more

I love Starbucks. They have really great coffee and tea, but are also a great company. With that said, I do not like going to this location. I get an iced venti 1 pump classic passion tea lemonade. 50 percent of the time I leave with just a passion tea. And being a passive-aggressive person I do not like to complain, so I drink it and give this place 3 stars on yelp. And it is good, but not what I ordered. read more

Absolutely amazing service today through drive through! I was doing my partner beverage mark out and I always skip getting my food mark out because I don't want to inconvenience the workers. The girl at the window noticed I only got a drink and offered if I wanted to use my food mark out too! I felt super comfortable and taken care of at this location the 2 woman and the one man who took care of me (I forgot their names but all talked to me) are angels! I don't even think I have received this level of positive treatment at my own store the workers truly made my day better! So thank you to the workers who were at the window 3/20/20 around 2pm you 3 made my day!!! read more

I drink Americanos multiple times per day. Last week I ordered a Americano at the Starbuck in West Dundee. I received a black drip coffee. The drip coffee has a distinct bitter taste. I returned today because of the geographical convenience and ordered an Americano. Again, I received a drip coffee. Besides the taste, there is no crema on top of dripped coffee. This Starbucks charged for Americanos but gives cheaper drip coffee. Its a bait and switch and it is criminal! read more

I went through the drive thru to get my bday coffee. I showed the woman my app that showed the reward for the free drink. She said the Barcode wouldn't scan and she couldn't give me the drink. ok....... anyone that has viewed my profile knows i am not a big Starbucks fan..... but this one..... wow far surpasses any I have been to for service etc. ( not that i will ever be out this way again... but in case anyone else is...) WOW! First of all... the manager ??? was bored, so he was making various blended drinks.... lemonade, green tea and serving up samples (BIG samples) to all the customers. I had already ordered my lite Frapp. and after all the samples I was soooo full I couldn't even eat dinner. Seriously! But of course I had to taste the samples, right? My sister who is there like everyday.... is in line, and she changes her order, the girl already rang us up, and the manager was like - don't worry about it no problem, i'll just charge you for the first drink. ??? When does that happen??? and at Starbucks??? WOW! Hmmmmm I hope this is not one they are planning on closing because this one should be packed all the time with people working there like that! :)) read more

These people are so so slow. I simply ordered a tall blonde with soy and agave. I receive my coffee minus the agave. You would think this would be an easy process just adding agave. Nope. He takes my coffee and sets it down. Then proceeded to forget about it. I stood there 10 min while he helped everyone else. When I said, did you have to brew a new pot? He says, for what? Omg. He couldn't even remember my order. Seriously? This is how you run a business? read more

At this location I was stuck behind some train wreck who clearly crawled out of a cave yesterday. She even turned her car OFF at the window to cream and sugar her coffee that she ordered black! (I heard everything she ordered and the barista even read it back to her and asked if she wanted anything in her drink) GO INSIDE if you want to be difficult. I am a very patient person but this lady topped the cake. But the woman at the window apologized and gave me my coffee for free. Thanks I appreciated it! read more

Great customer service and my orders are always correct. Plus I never have to wait long. Great job guys and gals, keep it up!!!

I would normally give Starbucks no more than 2 Stars, but this location has a very nice old woman that works the register in the morning. I ordered a "small" and she didn't even correct me with the Starbucks non-nomenclature. Wow! I assume this is a fire-able offense, so I hope she didn't get in trouble for it. The latte that I ordered was awful, as always, but the service improves the Star rating from a 1 to a 4. read more

Very efficient drive-thru - long lines and they move you thru very quick and my order was always correct and delivered with a smile!

One of the best i have been to!! They're staff is always friendly and 'upiddy' no matter what time of the day I have been there. I do not think I have ever had a complaint, my drinks are always correct and delicious. They're quick both inside and through the drive thru. I am a MAJOR Starbucks drinker. I have a coffee from there at least once, if not twice a day and I'm also a rewards member so yea, I'm pretty much a Starbucks addict. I have been to this Starbucks only a few times and out of all those few times it's always been through the drive thru and I always got the same lady and she is always so nice. Today, I decided to go inside and order while my boyfriend was outside checking something with his truck. I went inside and went directly up to the counter cause I knew exactly what I wanted. There were two guys and two girls working. The two guys were making drinks and one of the girls was at the drive thru. The second girl came out from the back of what I'm assuming is the storage room. She went up to the girl that was working the drive thru and started talking to her. For the next 5 minutes she proceeded to talk to her and no one came up to tell me to, "please hold on a second." or "someone will be with you shortly." I know 5 minutes doesn't seem like a long time but, I was the only customer inside besides two other girls who had already gotten their drinks. It should of took less than a minute for someone to notice that I was there. Finally one of the guys came up and asked if I had been helped. I placed my order and went down to the end to wait for my drink. While I was waiting for my drinks, the two girls that were in the store went up to the guys and said, "thank you for remaking my drink." and they goofed around a little and the two girls left. After the girls left, the two guys used their drive thru headsets (that they were wearing) to talk to each other about the body features of the two girls that just left and one of the girls joined in on the conversation. So overall, The drinks were good but the service was horrible and the employees were completely unprofessional. If you are the type of person that loves getting good customer service, don't go here. I recommend any other Starbucks. read more

This location would benefit by having better listening skills. I have been visiting this location for years, and seem to never learn my lesson. My drink is a simple vanilla iced coffee w soy milk, and 2x out of 7 they put whole milk, or cream, or nonfat milk in it instead of soy milk. It is so aggravating to pay for a service and continually be given other people's drinks, or for mine to be made completely wrong. I just don't get why they repeat the order correctly, but then type in something different. When I look forward to the sbux experience, but then 28% of the time it is wrong, I keep gambling. Not only do I gamble w if they will get the order correct, but I gamble when I take a sip out of a drink that is incorrect and forget to bring my epi pen. Half the time I don't have time to go back thru the line to get it redone, so I lose out on $$. read more

Horrendous Customer Service, especially from the Supv. Pat!!! We had picked up 3 drinks on our way to Heritage fest from Randall location(by xpress way) and they were awful after a few sips so the Closest Starbucks to get a remake was this one in west Dundee, by the fest. Pat refused to remake them & only said he would do one of them because it wasn't their mistake, but we are THREE people and only one can have a drink made correctly???!? Excuse me, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Starbucks PROMiSE company wide? He said Amy his manager would be in tomorrow, how does that help us now, and that he has no IDEA what the Regional phone number was & for us to GOOGLE it. WoW! I'm thinking he is just very rude, or needs more training! We went back to the original location on Randall, completely out of our way, and the Supv. on duty was wonderful & could not wait to remake ALL three drinks & told us that should have NeVer happened & they should all have each other's backs, just like I thought. read more

I tried to order a Venti sized coffee and was told that it had to be prepared with a clover machine and would cost me about $3.82. WTF. Doesn't this store know how to make a simple pour-over??
