If I wanted to have a Wawa experience I would've gone across the street. This was my strangest Starbucks encounter to date. Upon walking in the store, the cashier greeted us (very warmly) and asked if we were picking up an order? We declined and said we needed a minute to collect our thoughts. We waited kind of awkwardly at the front desk until the lovely employee who helped us told us that we "could" order at the front kiosk. However, they suggested to every customer that came in and wanted to order "in-person" that this location "primarily take mobile orders here so it may take a little bit longer...?" I understand this is the nature of our society now, but it felt very impersonal. Also, by the time it takes me to create my mobile order in the store and send it in... I could have verbalized it to a barista and already had the drink in my hand. It feels very counterintuitive. If this is the direction Starbucks is moving I likely won't be a customer for that much longer. What happened to human connection? I will say, they wrote all over our cups "Enjoy Lindsey" with a heart which was a nice touch. Absolutely lovely employees but from a corporate standpoint - STRANGE business model. If people wanted a 7-11 quick, experience they'd opt for Wawa or other "mid"coffee instead. read more

Holy Cow...Red Cup Day!! The staff here were AMAZING!! I ordered online 20mins before pickup and the app said it would be ready in 45mins!!!! I went in and was going to cancel my order as I would be late for work and they said it was being prepared and it would be out soon! They were soooo busy, with about 150 orders already on the table waiting to be picked up, this was at 745am! They did an amazing job calmly helping all the customers. Highly reccomend coming here, but order way ahead of time (at least 45mins) on RED CUP DAY!! Bravo guys! read more

I gave 2 stars because I love my latte and it's almost impossible to mess up. That's the only reason any stars were given. The baristas at this location are flat out HORRIBLE. They are nasty, unkind, rude, arrogant. They will turn off the "order online" feature daily. Keep in mind this store is a strictly an online ordering location, so 75% of the time it's not even possible to order. Today I went in because the "order online" feature was off again. Could not fathom a reason. I was one of 2 standing there, the incoming list was about 7 long. The completed list was small, and the pending list had 2. I imagine with 4 baristas and no register to work it would be completely possible to work with that. Last weekend my daughter and I stopped in to grab our lattes on the way to watch little league. They were backed up per usual. No biggie. That wasn't the bad part. The way they spoke to customers was embarrassing. It was honestly hard to watch. I have always been a Starbucks lover and I cringe that there isn't a closer location and I have to keep returning. They refuse to make eye contact, flat out ignore customers. Last weekend a customer was complaining about wait time, I actually heard the barista say to a customer "maybe it would have been faster had you added a tip" Since when is tipping mandatory? I wanted to crawl in my own skin. It was the most awkward uncomfortable moment I had witnessed in awhile. Someone needs to step up and educate these girls in basic manners and customer service. read more

Today was the first time I ordered from Starbucks during quarentine. This location was quick, careful, and friendly. Everyone was masked and my mobile order required no contact, which was great. I ordered 3 of the pink-drink alternatives (coconut milk creamed refreshes) for my housemates and all 3 were delicious! Most of all, I really happy to see the very clear support for both the Black Lives Matters movement and the LGBTQ community. That alone will make me support this store. read more

The new set up of counter only app only service at 5 Points Rd is not only impersonal but it is also not efficient. A venti Iced cold brew took 30 minutes to make and 10 other people were standing around in the store complaining about their drinks not being ready as well. I also went to Starbucks at KOP while Christmas Shopping and the Starbucks by the Old Lord and Taylor also took 25 minutes to make my order....and the drink was not what I ordered. I should have left a review prior to this but after a good moment of thinking, this store has never done anything exceptional for my to even receive a star rating of high get them a 3 and this current rating is still generous to the wait for today. As a former Partner, I completely understand the rush, the intensity, the hustle, and the stress of Morning Coffee, especially if you haven't consumed your own coffee yet. This store definitely beats to its own drum though. I mobile order approximately the same time multiple times throughout the week, give or take a few minutes. When the app says it's gunna take 6mins to prep and my drive will be 6 minutes, one would kind of expect their order to be read and or near ready upon arrival. Well this store is never consistent. I can be half way their when I receive notification my order is ready or wait up to 20 minutes (like today 9/11/19) for my order. When I have to wait longer than 5 minutes for my order I'm slightly annoyed considering I put it in at least 6 mins prior to arrival. Not only am I waiting longer but also I'm now late for work. This is the most convenient store in my way to work and when on time it's perfect, but days like these are rough and I contemplating eating the cost of my coffee and leaving. Will the Partners of this store please develop a better routine to ensure efficiency of the workflow and timeless of orders!!!!! read more

While the parking lot here is an absolute nightmare at certain times during the day (lunch especially), they actually have some of the best staff out of any of the Starbucks stores I frequent. They're not only friendly and attentive, but they make good drinks and manage to keep the store clean while doing so. I was particularly struck one day when a very demanding woman came in looking for bagged coffee for a friend. They didn't have what she wanted in the retail selection, but the manager went in the back and was able to get what she wanted from what I assume to have been the store's supply. They just seem to go above and beyond there. read more

My local where the service is prompt, the baristas are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and my usual is always perfectly prepared (a grande blonde misto with two pumps of either vanilla or cinnamon dolce). This is the most convenient Starbucks for me to stop for coffee and breakfast on my way to work in the mornings. I'm usually in a rush so mobile ordering is most convenient. There have been MULTIPLE occasions where I place my mobile order and get there 15 min later and STILL have to wait another 10+ minutes for my order. Which unfortunately makes me late for work. Today this exact thing happened and to top it off, the morning bun that I ordered was rock hard and my drink was made completely wrong. This is the first time I have visited this location. When we entered at 12 noon, there were 3 'barristas'' talking loudly together. They took our order and delivered it OK but when we went to the condiments table, all of the carafes were empty. We brought them to the counter where they refiled them and handed them back to us for us to replenish the table with instead of making the effort to bring them out themselves. It was extremely noisy in the shop even though there were never more than 2 or 3 other customers besides ourselves there at one time. but the noise level rose even further when one of the barristas decided to rearrange the chairs and instead of picking them up and moving them, she dragged each one of the five chairs across the floor to it's proper place. We remarked that dragging was really noisy and asked her to please pick the chairs up and offered to do it for her but she continued to drag them. Whereupon, we took our coffee and moved to an outdoor table which was dirty with the remains of previous customers. When we took our trash back in before leaving, the three of them were still engrossed in lively conversation with each other. Clearly there was no supervision going on and customer satisfaction was not their concern. read more

This Starbucks is probably my favorite in the West Chester/Exton area. Service is always quick, friendly, and consistent. The seating area is small, but always clean and organized. If there is a downside, it's that the parking lot is too small and always full. Although that makes it tough, if you wait long enough you'll find a spot. read more

Awful parking and one of the entrances is one way only. Really difficult access. A few years ago they changed all the seating and instead of comfy chairs and small tables they went to a large center table with community seating (e.g. no privacy) and hard bench seating. Maybe that's purposeful to get people to not stay as long. read more

Went in on Saturday (6/21/14) and had to circle around twice before someone finally pulled out and I could park. When I went in, there was a line. The women in front of me were engaged in a conversation and didn't hear the repeated announcement from the barista that he could serve the next guest. I got the woman's attention and she moved up in line. Although I wasn't irritated by this minor delay, the barista told me that my coffee was "on him". I couldn't believe that he was that concerned with my experience there that he would offer a free coffee to compensate for my wait. Amazing customer service! I certainly have not received that level of care from any other business that I frequent. The entire staff was pleasant and the store was very clean (despite the number of customers). The other reviews are quite puzzling and appear to be fake. What I've observed with this Starbucks is that it is frequently mostly empty (i.e. not popular) especially on weekends. The music played at this Starbucks is awful and in some cases on offensive. I no longer go to this Starbucks because I'm tired of swatting away flies. read more
