Very nice staff here. And they're open!! Other turnpike locations close too early for drivers.

I couldn't wait to "experience" this Starbucks after reading all the negative reviews. Alas, we had nothing but a fine time filling up our caffeine tank as we stopped at this turnpike stop. There were about 6 people in front of us and the line went fairly average for a Starbucks. The drink was mixed correctly and delivered to us without any issue. The general eating area, which is not Starbucks' or any specific business in the building, was not the cleanest. Maybe we got lucky or perhaps this Starbucks has changed. Hopefully you have an equally fine Starbucks experience. *Well, now that I think about it, the WiFi was essentially worthless, but since I wasn't there to write the next great American novel, that was not a problem.

Slowest personnel ever. Takes ages in the line. Considering 30min stops of the busses, this is a big deal.

Not the most friendly of staff ad the wifi is painfully slow and really not worth signing into if you have your own Hotspot.

On a recent trip from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, I found myself stopping at the Sideling Hill…read moreService Plaza. Since it was in the morning time, we decided to grab a few things from this Dunkin' that is located within the building. This is a 24-Hour Dunkin' located in the Sideline Hill Service Plaza/Rest Stop along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Specifically, it is in Waterfall, PA, which is a short ways west of Breezewood. Due to this being a toll road, I doubt there are many patrons of this store not specifically traveling along the Turnpike. However, the rest stop has plenty of parking, and there is signage along both the highway and the building indicating there is a Dunkin' at this particular plaza. Once inside the building, you will find a lot of seating options in the center of the room, right near the restaurant. The Dunkin' is located next to the 7/11 Convenience Store, and is attached to the Baskin Robbins. There are several kiosks from which you can order, or there is a traditional counter with employees to order from as well. This location also has Mobile Ordering enabled, so you can place your order before you stop and potentially avoid a wait. There is no drive-thru though, so you will have to go in. For what I saw, this is a full service Dunkin'. They had food, coffee, donuts, and merchandise that you would find at any other typical location. As stated, they are attached to Baskin Robbins, so you can also order any of their menu items at the same time. On my stop here, I did not order ahead. However, I wanted to place my order using my Dunkin' Rewards account to earn points, so I attempted to order on the kiosk. I was having a difficult time getting my account to load on the kiosk, and I spent several minutes trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, I was never able to get this to work correctly. So, I opted to just place my order at the counter. This probably cost me a few minutes in wait time both to place the order and then for my items to be prepared. I do not necessarily blame this location for this issue, but it was disappointing not being able to use this kiosk when trying to pay with the Dunkin' card on my app. From the time I started trying to order until when I received my items, it was about 15 or so minutes. The overall service here was satisfactory. The employees were friendly, and I did not have to wait an incredibly long time, even considering there was a good crowd of people there during my visit. The food I ordered, overall, was good. I personally had a Medium Iced Coffee with Mocha Swirl, as well as a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Plain Bagel. Both were prepared as I would expect from Dunkin, and satisfied me for breakfast. My dad ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Plain Bagel, and also liked his sandwich. Given that this Dunkin' is on the closed-loop of the Turnpike, it is naturally more expensive than one in your neighborhood. For two sandwiches and a medium iced coffee, it was $17.25. Particularly, the coffee is much more expensive here. I would typically pay less for a large at a normal store than I did for a medium here. However, this is to be expected since it is located on the Turnpike. Overall, my experience at this Dunkin' location was good. They have the variety you would expect out of an Dunkin', the service was adequate, and my food and coffee tasted good. It is going to be more expensive to stop here, so if you know you want Dunkin' before entering the Turnpike, that might be your best bet. However, if you find yourself here during your travels I would recommend giving it a try.

I ran into one of the store's founders, Melon, on my daily, routine 5am bike ride through…read moreWaynesboro. She invited me to attend the Farmer's Market to try Dawn & Dusk Donuts. I was warned that I should arrive at 8:30am when it opens because of the intense, passionate customers that tend to come in droves beginning at 9 -- just 30 minutes after the dawn of Dawn and Dusk. I didn't believe the hype, so I thought I could just stroll in at 8:38am, on a warm 78-degree Saturday morning. Well. To no one's surprise but my own, I arrived to a donut truck with a line that spanned across the parking lot. Disappointed in my alarm clock, I walked to the back of the line. I was shocked, however, at how quickly the line was vaporized with speedy donut delivery and the smiles of 4 dessert angels behind the donut doors. Soon it was my turn, and it Dawned on me that I had no clue what to order. Oh Dusk. I quickly skimmed the menu, stopping at the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough creation. I've never seen anything like it before. A chocolate chip cookie dough donut? I must have it. I placed my order with the cashier, I think her name was Addi. I said, "One chocolate chip cookie dough, please." "That's it?" Nervous, I nodded. I had just brushed my teeth 15 minutes prior (silly me) and hadn't seen the dentist in some time. Still, I knew it was bad practice to consume so much sugar this early in the morning. Addi shot a look to Melon in the back and they exchanged words, muffled by the sounds of the Donut Hero father-son duo Moe And Noel. I paid for my single donut, and minutes later I was delivered 3 beautiful, mouth-watering, delectable, Instagram-worthy creations. Unbelievable. Melon exclaimed, "You have to try these other ones! Strawberries and cream is the best, but this one is my favorite." Pointing to what seemed to be some maple cinnamon treat. I couldn't even make out the words that came out of her mouth as she described the donuts. I was stunned. Not only was I gifted with 3 donuts for the price of one, but my entire morning had now shifted. Knowing this was no ordinary donut experience, I exclaimed my thanks and ran back to my car -- rushing to get home. I couldn't eat this like a normal donut, no. I had to get back to my house, sit in my favorite recliner, turn on Netflix to watch my favorite show -- Bojack Horseman -- and I grabbed my carton of apple juice (sorry mom, I'll stop drinking from the carton one day). I bit into each donut, one by one, and it's amazing that I'm still alive to write this review. The donuts sucked. Just kidding. But, really, I can't even begin to describe the exquisite taste that was delivered to me on this fine Saturday morning. No, I couldn't do it justice -- you'll just have to go and try them for yourself. I'm not really one for lots of words anyways. Thank you, Melon, Addi, Moe and Noel. You have changed my life forever. UPDATE: It's been about 5 hours since I consumed these donuts. For all my lactose intolerant friends....just get a glazed donut. Don't make the mistakes I made.
