The ring road as of my visit is in poor condition, but repairs were occurring in several areas. Lots of parking, but watch for potholes. This mall is two stories and was built by Zamias, so internally it looks magnificent. It's very much a 1990's mall with its coloring and design, but that only helps it. Mall only has two occupied anchors, Boscov's and JCPenney. The former Bon-Ton and Sears remain vacant. Unfortunately, the interior is largely vacant with many empty storefronts, including several occupied ones not being open. Other problems included all four escalators being shut off, and the mall in general feeling dark. Rare Collectibles was probably the most interesting store I found, having various comic books and retro toys. One positive included the food court being almost full, along with other full-service restaurants being available as dining options. The Johnstown Galleria's new owner has a tough battle ahead to save this mall, and I don't know if he will succeed despite this mall looking so magnificent. I wish him luck.

I wanted to get this updated review in now before it slipped my mind. I fear that The Galleria is…read moreon its last leg. The mall has dwindle more since my review five years ago. So much so that it is nearly pointless to venture past center court as most of the storefronts past here remain empty or have become empty. With this holiday season upon us it will be the last that we see some tenants in the mall. Three stores that have been tenants since the mall opened in 1992. The mall will say goodbye to Spencer's, Bath & Body Works, and American Eagle Outfitters. All three tenants are said to vacate and relocate to Richland Towne Center. As ironic as it is, these stores are venture back to the site that was vacated, tore down, and rebuilt because of The Galleria's opening. Richland Mall got the last laugh it appears in the end. Zamias, the original owner and builder of the mall, has even vacated the many storefronts it once occupied within the mall. With some creative handling this could once again be a vibrant mall in a sense. It may not be your typical mall, but this could still be a destination for people if they want it to be. The outer portion of the property seems to still be thriving as the outparcel lots seem to be able to adapt for the needs of the area. Some restaurants have closed, but they have been quickly replaced in whole or with a remodel. It is nice to see that, but it does not fix the interior of the property. I do still stop by every so often to pick up an item when need be, saving me a trip to other areas. What is sad is that some of the areas that have been closed for some time are starting to show deterioration. The old Bon Ton spot is most notable where there is parts of the façade that is falling off the building. Only time will tell if and when this will be a totally dead mall or if this will be saved. Here's to hoping, but like I said, only time will tell.

Shop workers I encountered were all very nice. The food court is completely empty! Everything looked boarded up! I walked in there with my 4 year old who had to use the bathroom and did not feel safe walking back the corridor of the food court to take her to the restroom. Literally no one was in the food court building that I could see. Thankfully one of the shops graciously let me take her in theirs. If you want food the only place is the steakhouse outside the outlets. They do still have some good store options left I like - bath and body works, Janie and Jack, Kate spade and if you need furniture I know the last place you think is an outlet mall but you got to check out Legacy Furniture in the back. Amazing quality custom furniture. It's pricey but worth every dollar! This is a convenient location to Winchester. I don't like driving all the way to Leesburg anymore and would love to shop here more if there were more options to shop from. Please consider attracting some better stores. It will likely never happen but I would love to see Tory Burch, some home decor places like Kirklands, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc. Heck, why not see if some regular stores like a Tjmaxx/Homegoods would move in? That would be awesome! I hope the next few years see some improvements!

Well its October 2025, and it was like a Ghost town and the food court was by far the saddest one. I think only two places were opened on a Saturday. Lots of stores are closed and the parking lot was completely free. Not much selection now in terms of things. They still have some clothing stores left, but not sparse in terms of styles. The food court is actually clean because of the low foot traffic and someone is constantly cleaning the place. They do have Tesla superchargers here so its a good place to charge and walk around. The chargers are in the corner of the lot and typically just walking to the bathroom and back and most of the charge should be done so not really much time left to wander. It was sad to see and kind of made me feel like life has moved on from my childhood.

For the first time this Christmas one package was missing. I had just found out I had cancer and was not home. I had told them to send it so I could sign for it, which they didn't. I called to let them know. I didn't receive the package and they had a picture that UPS delivered it. I've never had a problem with them until now. They have decided to keep my money which is almost $600 also using Kohl's cash of $160 and they are not sending me another replacement. I even spoke to corporate. I'm not sure what I can do but I have a police report and it still didn't make a difference. The only thing I can do is take it to court. Their reasoning behind this is they're telling me that too many people are saying they're not receiving their packages and they can't keep putting out money. I told her this is the first time that this is ever happened to me. I would have received it the end of December. Needless to say this will be the last time that I will ever shop at Kohls. I will file a claim with the BBB and file small claims. Cancer is a serious issue. So now they have my money and they have my ring It's bad enough when they tell you what you can use your cash on and the dates between you can use it. I'm going to post this as many places as I can so that other people do not get scammed by Place.

WOW! No, really,…read moreWOW! This place has literally got it all under one spectacularly large roof. Attached to this place (read that as part of the whole, but separate) is an optical store, a thrift shop, and for the life of me I cannot remember the third one, I want to say it's a craft store. This store is very similar to 380 Auction located outside of Plum. But the huge difference here is that they sell appliances. Bonus! It takes a while to browse this place. I mean there are aisles upon aisles for your browsing pleasure. Think like you walk into a Dollar Tree, wander around, and look down at your basket/cart and be like 'WHOA, how'd all that get in there?' (Shop responsibly people!) Now, it's almost impossible to know who an employee is here, as they are dressed like everyone else the is milling around amongst the products. But, if you need something, or want someone to help you with something, they seem to magically appear out of nowhere, as if they have supersonic hearing and overheard you say you wished you had someone to help you. Even though there is a ton of merchandise inside this place, they seem to have a working knowledge of everything they do have. I mean, you want to know about that grill and if it can handle a chicken for rotisserie? Or how many horsepower does that riding lawnmower have? And maybe just if this flea and tick treatment will work on my fifteen pound dog? They definitely have the answer. This place can definitely be fun to just browse and get ideas for a party or maybe a craft project you were looking into. I have never been disappointed while coming here. I always end up coming out with a few bags fill. My last visit I didn't even break the $20 mark and walked out with some great items. Shopping should not be a chore, shopping should be an adventure and this place definitely confirms that.

When I contacted the store I was given the runaround. I have been waiting 6 months, without a working stove, for resolution. I was promised a new stove and am I still waiting. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the company policy that apparently allows a customer to go without a working stove for so long. Seniors are on a fixed income and I do not have disposable income to waste money on a non working stove. I also do not have the money to go out and buy another new stove after just six months. I am still hoping for the company to resolve this issue
