Happily, the Good 2 B Home, next door, was open. Proprietor Shelley Wertz was minding the shop, so we wandered around this charming, eclectic & really lovely shop. This is not your 'run of the mill' gift shop. There are items from local producers & artists are really 'cool stuff. Particularly, we liked the industrial-looking lamps that had usb & plug outlets. Really cool! Shelley could not have been more helpful & kind. Needless to say, we'll be back! (Hopefully at a time we can get coffee next door!)

It is like one big scavenger hunt…read moreinside that seems to wind endlessly through vendors and just when I thought it was done, I discovered there was a whole lower level. The staff was so kind. I purchased one of those old time plastic popcorn holiday decorations that were massively popular in the 70s. My mom had many of these for the holidays and I've managed to uncover a few of them for my house. It always makes me think of her. On this visit, I saw a very unique one that was a hippie love sign. It was a little out of my price range, but my kids insisted I go back and get it. I reluctantly agreed, and the shopkeeper was so nice to let me get it despite actually being closed. She told me these signs used to cost $2 a piece. I definitely paid a lot more than that! But am so happy whenever I see it in our window.

This building houses approximately 159 vendors. The outside doesn't give any indication how huge…read morethe inside actually is. There is a downstairs too. There are unique gift items, hand crafted merchandise (clothes, art) and so many interesting items. Street parking is easy to find.

If you need some smoke alarms, most of the time they will have some. And have a bunch different hardware, even the whole carpet shelf. And I vintage Polaroid for 40 bucks. and the person the cash was really nice too. I really like how they are using an old building for the original purpose. Hoke E geez is my favorite thrift store I've ever gone to.

Advertised as an indoor flea market it was so much more! It was like a craft fair, hardware store, appliance and carpet store, grocery store, pallet buyout, Co op antique store all rolled into one. Prices were reasonable but retail. Not flea market prices that leave room for us resellers, but there were some interesting things. My friend was able to find a vintage clarinet and I was able to get glue and a candy bar, so it was one stop shopping. The store is very large with ample parking for trucks and rvs and located right off a major highway. While I wish the prices were a little more reseller friendly, I would stop again to browse their interesting mix of inventory.

We bought all our spring and summer bedding plants here and all our vegetable sets for our garden. All survived. The selection is astounding. When we moved to the area I was still driving over an hour to Lurgan to buy. This is so close, yet has a healthy variety of plants to choose from.

The building itself is stepped in history and has saw the likes of Abe Lincoln and PT Barnum. Today the building serves as an eclectic gift shop that offers many different themes of gifts. The shop has about 5 rooms on two floors filled with gifts. Although this place is a bit pricey it does have some unique pieces. One real downside of this shop is actually trying to get into it. Unfortunately it's location is on a divided highway and can't be accessed when heading west and must be passed in order to turn around and head back east to access it. Once heading east don't miss the small gravel entrance (that is not marked) or you will pass it again and have to drive another 2 miles to turn around and do it all over again. Overall if you can make it a point to get into this place its well worth the stop for the history itself and maybe find a cool gift while your there.
