I purchased one of those old time plastic popcorn holiday decorations that were massively popular in the 70s. My mom had many of these for the holidays and I've managed to uncover a few of them for my house. It always makes me think of her. On this visit, I saw a very unique one that was a hippie love sign. It was a little out of my price range, but my kids insisted I go back and get it. I reluctantly agreed, and the shopkeeper was so nice to let me get it despite actually being closed. She told me these signs used to cost $2 a piece. I definitely paid a lot more than that! But am so happy whenever I see it in our window.

My taste can be niche but it gets to a point when I find a vinyl I actually like and I get home and find something else inside of it. While I am at it I also want to say the music they play in there is crazy. Roxy Saint? The fetal alcohol syndrome lady? Love her to death but god who is making the playlist for this place? Advertised as an indoor flea market it was so much more! It was like a craft fair, hardware store, appliance and carpet store, grocery store, pallet buyout, Co op antique store all rolled into one. Prices were reasonable but retail. Not flea market prices that leave room for us resellers, but there were some interesting things. My friend was able to find a vintage clarinet and I was able to get glue and a candy bar, so it was one stop shopping. The store is very large with ample parking for trucks and rvs and located right off a major highway. While I wish the prices were a little more reseller friendly, I would stop again to browse their interesting mix of inventory.

One is never sure if taking an unplanned detour is going to be worth the time lost while traveling. The detour was well worth it. Presentation, cleanliness, and ease of browsing, accounts for the majority of stars for this 2 level shop. Bonus stars are for the comraderie felt during the lively, and entertaining exchanges that took place with the operators of this establishment. Hard work and devotion is truly one of the factors that has led them to their 20 plus years of operation. Only comment is that pricing seemed erratic amongst some of the various vendors. Prices are negotiable, and layaway is offered. Nice place to spend a weekend afternoon.
