My husband and I have been to a lot of coffee shops and drink lots of coffee in general and unfortunately this was one of the worst coffees we have ever had. I ordered the HeBrews hot mocha and he ordered a frozen vanilla latte, which both were not drinkable. I am not sure how to describe the coffee other than just horrible. We even traded drinks to taste each others and they both were just so bad.... I wish we would have tried them before getting back on the road so we could have gotten something else. We had such a wonderful experience at this cozy little coffee shop! We tried both a vanilla latte and a pumpkin spice latte. While the vanilla latte was decent, the pumpkin spice latte was hands-down the best PSL I've ever had! The spices were perfectly balanced, and it wasn't overly sweet, which made it absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is so cozy. They have these comfortable couches that made it feel like a home away from home. On top of that, the coffee shop is located in the cutest town, making it a great spot for a walk after your coffee. read more

I'm very happy to say I got a very nice cortado here. I did have to explain what it was by they made it perfect. The flavor was good and strong. It's hard to find unsweetened milk alternatives and they had unsweetened almond milk here. The barista was very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to oblige me in my non-typical coffee drink for the area. The photo of my Cortado is not so great because I ran to the bathroom and it sat there for a bit before I take was able to take the lid off and take a photo. This coffee shop had multiple rooms which made it very private. It has a super cozy, atmosphere with tables and desks and soft, comfy couches. It's a Great pitstop for a good cup of coffee right off the highway less than two minutes. read more

This place has it all - great coffee, service and atmosphere! I don't live in the area, but visit Bedford often and I hit Hebrews every morning for my coffee (except Sunday - so sad they are closed that day). I don't normally hang, but get 2 cups of Jungle Love, their dark roast, to go (both for myself). They have many specialty coffee choices as well. But there is lots of seating so great spot to sit down and relax. Highly recommend. read more

Aw I wish they had more. I am also not a coffee but a tea person. Tea was advertised down low and I didn't see it at first so I felt bad for having to ask. I felt like I needed to yell for the staff to hear me, too. :( hate being that person. Tea was good. Wish I could sit in and enjoy it - in due time. Always wanted to come here and finally did. I dislike when a hot drink is filled to the very top and spills down the tea bag string and is too hot for my hand and then drips into my car cup holder forever. :( read more

Really enjoyed this place. The apple cinnamon scone was moist and not too sweet. The hot tea offerings included some unusual options like Earl Grey with lavender. The cozy casual decor and the softly playing contemporary Christian music made for a relaxing experience. The reasons I did not give it 5 stars: 1. The lack of savory food options 2. We walked in to a normal-sized coffee shop but when we walked back into the space we discovered a very comfortable lounge and a small break out room with tables where multiple people were working on laptops. I stopped by Bedford on a long road trip to rest & get some coffee. HeBrews exceeded all of my expectations - it's a comfortable, cozy coffee house with luxurious sofas & armchairs, quiet ambiance, and - of course - absolutely fantastic coffee. The shop is split into different sections; there's an open area in front with couches and tables, and then off to the side are a lounge with a fireplace and a meeting room. I loved the books on the tables, a local artwork on the walls, and the friendly, talkative staff. The coffee was perfectly brewed and the specialty drinks were delicious as well. I can certainly say that if I lived in Bedford, I'd be a regular here; I'll definitely be stopping back in if I'm ever in the area again! read more

Good prices but.... They were out of coffee (seriously?! that's what you sell.) so they made me what Starbucks considers an Americano (hot water with a shot of espresso) and it wasn't good. We were on the road so we had to get moving so I didn't make a stink about it. M&M cookie was respectable. Maybe they were closing up and didn't want to make a whole new batch? Who knows- the girl who made it was very nice but again...not what I ordered. There was another person in the back who seemed to be cleaning up- the girl waiting on me was starting to get in the weeds- group before me ordered fluffy drinks, group of five behind me wanted the same (medium non-fat soy, etc.) so the girl in the back seemed preeeeetty annoyed she had to come out and help. It's a shame- I'm sure this isn't the constant but it sucks to have a poor experience. read more

Tucked away in a quaint but beautiful downtown, Hebrews has a nice local feel. We ordered a single shot of espresso, a brewed coffee and an Americano with an extra shot. With some crema and a decent extraction time, the espresso tasted alright, though the barista used espresso that had been per-ground prior to us entering the shop. The drip coffee was fresh, had good flavor, and was quite enjoyable. The Americano was good, even though the shots ran a little long and blonded out a bit more than I would prefer. The shop used a Nuova Simonelli Aurelia espresso machine, which points to the owner caring about quality of products served. Implementation of quality is often difficult to manage if the employees don't carry the same values. The choice of employees seems to mimic the experience we had with the coffee quality: good but not amazing. Would I go back? Of course. My hope for this shop is for the customer service to be a bit more welcoming. They have a pretty good thing going but could improve themselves a bit. I would give the shop a 3.5 rating but this site only allows integers. read more
