I believe I've been to this Starbucks, but it's been a very long time. Nothing but praise from the front end to back. Especially with a meaningful conversation with staff about nutrition since they had time. Prior to entering I noticed they offer a few table outside. They also have a drive-thru. Upon walking in I noticed it was pretty small, but clean. No issues with my app reloading and utilizing it to pay. If you bring a refillable cup they provide a discount. My standing order Fredericksburg says is a small Black coffee using their Blonde. Staff was super efficient on my order, plus a discussion on nutrition of a few of their products. This moved into other types of nutrition. Would recommend and definitely return. read more

This is my go-to coffee stop whenever I'm dropping my dog off at daycare in the morning. I place my order on the app, swing by to grab my egg bites and an almond milk peppermint white mocha (it's the holidays, I have to), and I'm back on the road in no time. This location is fast and pretty easy to get in and out of. My tip: order ahead, park, and pop inside to pick up your drink. You could wait in the drive-thru, but the staff here is really friendly, and it's nice to start your day with a smile. The interior is what you'd expect from a typical Starbucks... plenty of seating and the standard menu. Overall, it's a convenient, reliable stop for a caffeine run. Close to Lynnhaven Mall, across from Walmart. This Starbucks is close to the highway so their drive thru is usually full. I think they handle rushes well. I always receive friendly service here. I have yet to receive an incorrect order from this team. You can tell by the way they repeat your order back to you that they want to get your order right the first time. The set up inside is really nice with some modern booth type seating near the window. Everything is clean and organized. The pastry case looks clean and organized with easy to read signage. Good place to grab a quick breakfast or pickup. When on the road as an Uber driver they are the perfect stop for good coffee and a clean bathroom. This location is always pretty quick, just order on the app in advance and they'll have it waiting. I'd avoid the drive thru, I've never seen it with less than 5-10 cars in line. I went to this Starbucks after mobile ordering and expecting to wait in a line which I was perfectly fine doing. Drive thru only would not surprisingly bring a line, right? Anyway, The line went very fast and I was very pleased with how friendly the headset person was! Enthusiastic tone, absolutely unbothered by the fact it was 8 am, beautiful thing to hear in the morning :). When I went to the window, I was greeted just the same and I left with a fond farewell. As I arrived to my home, I thought something was odd, an extra bag? They must've put extra napkins in another bag maybe? I might of accidentally gotten someone else's order? I don't usually come to this one but we were in the area.... we were chilling until the wave of people started coming in and it felt like we were sitting outside. The cold draft from the door opening and closing got really annoying. Anyways, service was quick and employees were friendly. Dave ordered a Vanilla latte and I decided to try their Iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato. The macchiato was delish! I prefer almond milk....and if you like cinnamon then you will definitely enjoy this refreshing cold coffee drink. Four stars because I like Starbucks but probably 3 stars if I was rating my overall experience (however I know that it was obviously not something they could have done anything about... we could not move to a different table because the tables furthest away from door were taken already). I've never had any problems here. I would give the place five stars based solely on having a drive-thru! None of the ones near me have it. The drinks have always been good, always what I expect. The baristas are always great too. Good place, and good coffee. My go-to drinks never change: flavored iced coffee with milk & sometimes whip, Cinnamon Dulce Lattes, and Mango black iced tea when they have it. Refreshing & deeeelish. I feel like everytime I come here they mess something up. I always order the same thing. Iced chai w sweet cream cold foam and caramel drizzle. The mess it is EVERY time. Today I decided it's hot I'll just order a hot chai. I got a hot chai latte with 2 pumps of brown sugar and caramel drizzle. Nope they got it wrong. I have had healthy addiction to Starbucks I go almost everyday- I almost never have a bad experience even if my complex 6-7 drink gets made wrong I don't complain they always fix it! Today was no different I have the happy hour discount on my app and so I waited today to get my daily drink. I order the usual 5 shot espresso and a frap with 2shot affogato. I tell the barista I would like to use my happy hour discount she says it's only used for espresso drinks the frap isn't a espresso drink- so I reply I made it an espresso drink by adding TWO SHOT OF ESPRESSO! No I didn't yell or raise my voice but in my head I was doing back flips. I never had this happen I didn't know what to do- then I said oh ok never mind - loaded another 10$on my app and paid for my drink. Whipped out my phone and YELP here I come. (And also I email corporate too, just becasue I'm stank like that) I'm not going to stop going but as much money as I spend at the Starbucks two things should never happen 1) me getting arrested 2) and me getting denied a discount!! This location is a bit awkward. When you pull up you'll find that the speaker is first and the sign is ahead of that making it a bit awkward to order. You don't realize this until you pull up to see the menu and the barista begins speaking to you and the voice is coming from behind. And if you have cars behind you, you can't back up for better clarity. You have to pull forward to the window and give them your order. The guy that waited on me this past time was indifferent and unpleasant. He seemed annoyed that he couldn't hear me as I placed my order because of the location of the speaker/mic and sign. We were told we couldn't have any whipped cream and we're reminded numerous times that they were going to close soon. I come in at least 3x a week in the morning to early afternoon. I would sit for hours reading/catching up on work. Seating/ambiance: When it's warm out, I love their outdoor seating, also bc it gets a little chilly inside. The air quality isn't entirely too great bc of the constant drive thru traffic/the traffic on Lynnhaven. In the winter, it's perfect to sit inside and by the windows. The new renovations have made it look a lot less "cozy college coffee shop" feel. The couches are gone, but it was probably time for them to be phased out anyways. I love that it rarely gets too loud in here, and there are always one or two tables open. The music is at a perfect volume. Service: The baristas are all so cheery, attentive, polite and patient. It's as if they have a constant refill of caffeine to stay this way, or they really enjoy their job. They seem to have lots of fun back there and generally enjoy working with each other. I never feel like I have to rush and figure out what I'm feeling that morning. But, they are also very efficient and gets your order out quickly. I never have to wait too long. Drive-thru: Typical Starbucks speed in the mornings. I do feel that it is faster if you were to park and go in. read more
