I love how this indie is supporting his own local businesses. It felt thoughtful without being pretentious, which I really appreciated. They seem to specialize in lighter roasts, which can be difficult to execute well, especially as espresso. It is easy for light roast espresso to come across too sharp, sour, or overly intense, but Yuan's coffee was nuanced, floral, and smooth. You can tell there is a lot of skill behind the bar.
