The two, Aliyah and Shyan were rude. The manager refunded the money. I even had complimented Shyan with her Christmas sweater. And she side eyed me. They were whispering amongst themselves and now I know it's because they spelled my name like that on purpose. The manager didn't take it seriously and even my daughter walked in to ask if it was in a racial way? The manager lied in our face about the intentions of Aliyah and Shyan. Placed a mobile order only to get there and find that they closed the lobby. So we had to wait in the drive thru line of 10+ cars to pick up our mobile order, which at that point the ice had melted and drinks were warm. It defeated the whole purpose of a mobile order. Not sure why they wouldn't just turn off mobile ordering if they were closing the lobby. Frustrating experience, will not return to this location. read more

**LONG WAITS & WATERED-DOWN DRINKS**I recently moved to the area, and this Starbucks is the closest, so naturally, this is the Starbucks I frequent for coffee. Since the beginning of October, I have been going there; it is always a hit or miss, more a MISS. Most often, I place mobile app orders, believing I'll leave for work (10 minutes) before needing the coffee. More often than not, I am left waiting for my drink order. When you order ahead, you expect to wait a few minutes, but not at this store. Drinks always take forever! Yesterday, on Thanksgiving, I placed a mobile order about 30 minutes before they closed. When I arrived to pick up in the store, the doors were locked, and I had to wait in the drive-thru line (that's why I did in-store pickup). I got to the order screen and was told "we will be with you in a few, waiting over 5 minutes, then was finally greeted. My drink, was watered down, I barely tasted the espresso; you would think I could taste four shots of espresso. I have worked in the service industry for years, so I am not one to complain, nor would I do it on Thanksgiving. I almost did not go because it was 30 minutes before they closed, but I chose to do so. I have given this Starbucks location one too many chances to prove me wrong; they have had one too many bad or busy days. It always starts with management. Do better, Starbucks. This morning I went into this Starbucks location, walked up to the gentlemen running the register, told him I had an odd request and asked to buy a sleeve of small coffee cups. He went to turn to a guy with a bandana wrapped around his head and before he could say anything the guy (who I now know as Branson) yelled no, shaking his head. I could not even finish saying that they could charge me as if I was buying them filled with coffee I just do not want the coffee. I was totally taken back, I felt the gentlemen running the register was too, at how rude and unprofessional Branson was and is. Instead of saying "I'm sorry we are unable to do that for you" he scolded me like I was a three year old, making sure everyone in Starbucks heard him. I own my own business and I understand there are things that can and cannot be done. It wasn't that they would not sell me the cups, it was the way I was treated. I proceeded to go down to Circle K at Ina and Shannon where I was graciously sold the cups I need. They were friendly and helpful. I think it would benefit Branson greatly to go spend a day at this Circle K so that he can learn what customer service is and how to treat people. read more

I am completely taken back and would feel bad leaving a "bad" review. But the fact that Patrick is presenting Starbucks in such state. I'm going to address it. My Birthday was on Saturday...I always take advantage of the birthday reward by getting exactly what I like for free! It's a pricier drink but very delicious. And I do look forward to having it for my birthday reward. Long story short I thought you could redeem it that week or month or something like that. I didn't know it had to be the day of. I recently moved out of Tucson. Which was my home for 30 plus years. My first trip back for a visit. Happen to be on my birthday... which I came down for other reasons. Reasons why I didn't get to make it into Starbucks THAT Saturday. Me thinking it was no big deal and that I would just enjoy my treat tomorrow... when I was less busy. I walked into your store.... This last Sunday around noon. Wasn't greeted. But that's okay. We have our bad days. I stood at the register for a little bit before Patrick approached myself with "what can I get for you?" (Hi Patrick. I'm doing okay. Thank you for asking. Sorry you were having a bad day I guess) I mean idk. Anyways. I didn't let that bother me and I started to order. He made disgusted faces the entire time. Wrinkling his eyebrows, tilting his head to the side and responding with quick, fast... "anything else?"after every line I said... almost cutting me off. Even in the middle of ordering I was so distracted by him, I forgot a part of my drink and looked and him, smiled and said "oh gosh my brain. I cannot remember what it's called" he responding by giving a sigh. I smiled and picked what I could remember. Anyways. It was time for the paying part. He told me my total. I scanned my phone and said "i would like to use my birthday reward please" he said okay and continued with the pos. He then asked me, when my birthday was. I barely opened my mouth saying "yesterday" confused... before Patrick seemed to chipper right up saying "oh yeah no, we don't do that here. It has to be the day of your birthday" I mean I was happy he was finally smiling and making eye contact. As well as projecting his voice... letting me know that I wasn't going to get the birthday drink today... after trying to tell him that I was so confused. Because I thought it was the week of. Or you could redeem your reward when you were ready. He just kept cutting me off saying "no. Nope. Sorry" I said "okay." And started to walk away... as I have no business BUYING such a EXPENSIVE drink on a day that means nothing to anyone... he then yelled out to me, my remaining amount owed. Because when I scanned my card for the birthday reward. He charged it instead. And when I thought I wasn't getting the drink... I had to pay the rest. Since I didn't have those funds on my Starbucks card. The thing is. It's a drink. It was my birthday. And I was a couple hours late. Patrick, you denied me my drink happily. But sadly took my order. I just don't understand. How you got joy from taking my smile. I mean seriously. It's what you did. Our community counts on people like you to try and bring kindness and love to our community... since we count on YOU when we use our hard earned money on caffeine juice at your store, that YOU represent. You don't know this. But even with a smile and bubbily personality.... I'm actually battling a lot of hard tims right now. I entered your store with a positive mind and attitude about the day excited for something instead I left, bummed, hurt, embarrassed. Because you made sure to address me infront of everyone. And made me feel the way you do. Oh and I left a whole lot poorer. I know people are not always cheery and kind to you, Patrick. But it's not an excuse to be that way toward others. Especially when you represent such companies.... Please consider everything you do next time you step infront of your register and ask someone "what can I get for you?" Also. It's just a drink. Big to me. Little to you. It wouldn't have hurt you to just be kind. Let alone just letting someone have a FREAKIN BIRTHDAY drink. Starbucks gives out drinks all day long. Mess ups, no pick ups, training. Etc. not to mention all the waste. I'm a hardcore tipper. I love seeing lighten up faces when I drop big bills in the tip jar. i didn't this day because of Patrick. The staff here was always been nothing but friendly and they go above and beyond to get your order correct. While there are times where the drive thru line gets a bit long, that really isn't their fault, and they are always as speedy as they can be. I recently moved and was afraid I wouldn't love this location as my last one but luckily the staff here have been amazing. Should out to all the baristas here, as they really do go above and beyond. I ordered a Salted Caramel Mocha Frap with soy, and of course I didn't want the whipped cream. I asked if I could instead have some extra salt on the top. Lordy, the barista working was the best at getting "extra" salt right. She went above and beyond! Not just a shake, but she really gave me the salty topping I was craving. This location in the Lowes parking lot on Ina Road, is my back up Starbucks. I don't know if there are grades of Starbucks stores, but this one is on the lighter side of merchandise and food goods. It reminds me of the Starbucks in the airport. Not a welcoming seating arrangement or interior atmosphere compared to the Starbucks on Arizona Pavilions,the Foothills Mall or the location off La Canada ( outside Foothills mall). Services is always fine but I don't think above average. It seems primarily geared towards drive through business, which is the majority of my patronage. Starbucks now offers coconut milk as an alternative option to soy or cow milk. I must say after two mochas with coconut milk, I'm in LOVE! read more

I think just about every business could take some lessons from Starbucks. They really know how to hire and train their employees to offer exceptional customer service. This location happens to be the closest to home so I frequent them often enough although typically through the drive-thru. Weekday mornings I'm often greeted with a very long drive-thru line but it moves super fast! I was disappointed this morning when I ordered my venti iced half-caff Americano and a slice of their fabulous low-fat cinnamon streusel coffee cake only to be told they no longer carry it as they've changed their bakery items. The guy on the mic told me the classic coffee cake was very similar and really good. Asked if I wanted to try it so I said sure. Turns out he really did mean TRY it, because it was free! Nice!! **unfortunately it doesn't compare to their much better cinnamon streusel cake. Oh well. So I think I'll be on the hunt for a new favorite in their baked goods but in the mean time, thanks Starbucks! read more

This Starbuck's is pretty much like any Starbuck's across the country. They have their standard items and the Starbuck's brand specialty items. It's a wide open space with a nice amount of sunshine lighting up the place naturally. Very clean. What threw me off: They have those seasonal Vivanno smoothies. Yet when I asked to have an Orange Mango Banana Blend made with non-fat milk, the barista said it's not made with milk. What? Not made with milk? This past summer, this Starbuck's drink was a favorite decadence. Across the country, I ordered them when the Starbuck's branch had them, always requesting non-fat milk. Then I ordered a Java Chip Frappuccino® Blended Coffee, asking that it be made with non-fat milk. Again, the same response. There's no milk in this drink. O.K. Clearly something is different with this particular store or Starbuck's has changed recipes in the past few days. Without checking out other Starbuck's since this experience, it could be this Starbuck's store has decided to use extra protein powder (perhaps, mixed with powered milk) or Starbuck's has changed the original recipe to save money. Personally, I like the option to select what type of milk is used or to pick soymik instead. Here are recipes for these two drink found on Starbuck's website: Vivanno Orange Mango Banana Blend Made with a whole banana blended with all natural Naked® Juice made exclusively for Starbucks, our proprietary whey protein & fiber powder, 2% milk and ice. Java Chip Frappuccino® Blended Coffee A decadent combination of chocolate and java chips combined with Starbucks® coffees and milk, blended with ice, topped with whipped cream (optional) and chocolate drizzle, a chocolate lovers dream. If I do more digging and discover whether this experience is localized vs. nationwide, I'll update this review. My office comes in here every single day. Multiple times a day. We happen to come in on a Sunday, when Pricilla who is normally our 10/10 Starbucks barista was off shift. Ordered what we always do, Nitro Cold Brew, light sweet cream. Got our order, and noticed the cold brew had way too much cream. Politely mentioned it to the barista and instead of making a fresh one..... dumped half my coffee out into the sink and added more cold brew. Said "that should be okay". Not your best work Starbucks. I would expect a fresh cup with the right amount of cream, especially with all the business we consistently give. read more

Stop by this Starbucks to get the new zombie Frappuccino before we went costume shopping. I know that this is a novelty drink that only around for about 5 days what my son was expecting and what we received was quite a disappointment. The beverage was double cupped because it was running over and the lid didn't quite fit was very messy got all over the car. It didn't taste very good I'm glad that it will only be around for a short time I know we won't be buying that again! The girl who was working the drive-thru did let me know that it was running over and to be careful not to spill it on myself. I am a firm believer in second chances.... Especially to businesses, because everyone can have an off day.... BUT time after time when I visit this location it's not up to the quality or service standards I get at other Starbucks. Today when ordering something off their menu "vanilla blonde".... The barista/cashier had absolutely no idea what I was asking for... She made me feel dumb for ordering it, not a good way to start out my visit. ( hopefully she was just new and not 100% familiar with the menu yet ).... Then I wanted to make a second purchase.... ( trying to increase my stars on my rewards card ) and she says "you want more?".... Yes actually I do!!!! And it was a sandwich to accompany my coffee... So then I go and find a small little table to enjoy my coffee and sandwich and it was so loud.... I noticed I was near a speaker, so I got up and moved across the store... But still super loud... How was I supposed to get any studying done with music at that level... So outside I went, thank goodness I brought a scarf because it was chilly and very windy. Then after I start to enjoy my sandwich.... It's cold.... Not cool... But cold! I brought it back up to the counter and the same cashier says "well we keep them in the fridge".. Ok that's great, but not the way you should talk to a customer... But I think it could have been the manager who brought me over a NEW and HOT sandwich and it was great... So giving credit when credit is due... Thank You. I am will to give this location one more shot... But if they can't improve on their customer service, speed, and standards... This is an update review for the same location after 3 months , and it's my last cup from starbucks. I thought after store remodeling will be much better and smother service. It turn out that even worst. Maybe store manager has a lack of experience or no training experience. Employees.. i will say almost all of them except one are rude, not willing to welcome and serve. As far as waiting time in store or drive thru, nothing change even worse now. As far as cleanse, garbage always full..bar has nasty look and no one bother to wipe it off. According to health code in the city, you can't put all powder continer exposed in the front counter on the reach of the costumers. I decided to stop spending my $20 daily at Starbucks and buy a professional maker and do it my self. I think the people who left 5 stars reviews are one time visitors. This Starbucks location is my favorite in all of Tucson. After moving here, I've been testing out different ones to see where I like best for all day studying. All I needed was 3 things: Opens late, check! Open tables, check! Outlets available, check! There are usually always tables available and plenty of outlets for usage. It is also one of the later closing Starbucks around here, closing at 10pm Mon-Sat and 9:30pm on Sundays. The patrons who go here are also very pleasant. Dock one star because baristas fail to ignore me and other customers at the register when they are tied up on many occasions. It is somewhat understandable because they have to juggle in-store customers and drive-thru. However, employees should be trained to acknowledge the customer for waiting. read more

Monday night 6/25 at around 8:57pm I pulled up to the drive through after a hard gym session and needed some caffeine to get me home. I was greeted by the most genuine, friendly voice asking me how my day was and what I would like to drink. Later on, I was told her name is Elizabeth (blonde ponytail working the drive thru)...and I just have to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Always the slowest Starbucks. If you're in a hurry I would say go to the next closest Starbucks and it'll still be faster than waiting in this locations line. I've seen other locations with long lines often but they move pretty quickly not sure why this one struggles. read more

Sigh, yes, I go to Starbucks. Given the dearth of places to enjoy a cup of coffee around the area, Starbucks is the place to go. What I truly love are the baristas. They are friendly, make an effort to learn your name and drink if you are a regular. They are zippy and if they are incredibly busy sometimes they will comp your next drink. While Starbuck's coffee, in general, tends to taste a little on the burnt side, they are consistent with the quality of their service.
