The establishment is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner really invested in the place and the people who work there. There is a pink bicycle parked outside, the establishment is pink, the decor is very elegant--perfect for a photo op I opt to do the afternoon tea with Prosecco added on as well as some scones to go. It was a very fair price per person. Under £80 for the entire experience for 2 people. They also sell other assorted desserts, shakes and cakes All the employees were attentive, they explained in detail what our package came with and they made sure we were happy from start to finish. Unfortunately I didn't make the reservation myself (relied on family in London to make it) so we didn't get booked for the afternoon tea service as I'd hoped and just had a reserved table instead. Still, I indulged in some scones with cream and strawberry jam, paired with a strong cup of decaf English breakfast tea. The staff is very friendly and took the time to explain the drink and pastry options to us. I hope I get a chance to visit again for the full tea service before the end of my trip!

Can be expensive although the Costa card helps you collect points which easily add up for free purchases in the future. Great for a pit stop if in need of watering or feeding!

Owner also sells different tea including puer tea. For now they serve Alchemy Coffee which smells and tastes amazing - it's a place worth to visit if you are real coffee-lover. I've been looking for a good coffee in Croydon for ages and finally found it in Crushed Bean! Soon they also going to open sitting area downstairs that will be possible to hire for private events as well. Prices are more than affordable - £2.20 for Latte and just £1.20 for fresh baked kiwi square, such a bargain! They are working closely with The Bread Factory based in Hendon for a great choice of pastries and snacks on offer. There are also hot and cold sandwiches that looked yummy if you are hungry. Service is great as well - guys who are also the owners are very friendly and know what they are doing, wish them good luck and hope they will soon grow into a chain available all around London. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful delicious home made cakes, homemade soup, paninis etc. Today I had the orange and almond cake which knocked my socks off it tasted so good. You could smell and see the orange zest within the moist sponge cake. It was served on a china plate with a china handled dessert fork. The expresso coffee was served in a quaint duck egg blue expresso cup with a humming bird print only £1.50, it was good coffee. The sugar cubes with tongs sat on the side in a china bowl. So when approaching the manager about this she was unapologetic and brought the icecream over to show there is no seeds in the icecream. My friend went up to the bar and asked what was happening and they said there was a huge amount of tickets coming in and they were trying to get through them.. sok after a staff member came and said the food was on its way..we then waited another 5/10 minutes and our food finally arrived. The staff member whole brought the food over was very apologetic..The food was presented nice on little boards so had that rustic look and it tasted lovely. The brisket was soft and melted in the mouth, the fries was nice and crunchy unfortunately the little pot of gravy was water, oily and tasteless. I then went to the toliets and they were nicely decorated unfortunately some of the toilets were messy with tissue in the toliet and some on the floor.. shame they obviously dont check the toilets often, spoke to someone who came out of one of the toilets, and they said the toilet they were in was overflowing! Its a shame about the waiting time as i would have rated it a bit higher if it wasnt for that and i would have went back for the food as it did taste good but the time waiting is a bit off putting!!.

This place has fantastic helpful happy staff with a sense of humour coupled with great service. Clientele is varied from families, couples and friends. One couple were playing scrabble another having afternoon tea. I had the Moroccan tea, v good and refreshing. The strawberry and cream popcorn is to die for. My friend had the energy boost smoothie in a trendy beaker and it was v good. I've been in here for cocktails with the girls and again the service is fab and the cocktails delish. I loved the espresso martini as good as you get. Miss this place when your in Sutton and you miss out. Xoxo
