The coffee is nice, but the real reason you might want to make a special trip here is the food and the pastries. Yes, it's mostly your typical coffeeshop fare, and the quality isn't through the roof, but you'll find the occasional gorgeous cookie or delicious burger/sandwich to compliment the java perfectly. My favorites are the brioche doughnuts and thick chocolate and vegan oat cookies they have on display, but there's also a scrumptious-looking mushroom burger that you simply have to try if you're lucky enough to be there when they have it. All in all, the vibe is pretty chill, though not exactly quiet, and there's plenty of room for hanging out. And if given the choice, I would certainly choose this spot over Starbucks or Caffè Nero.

Lovely latte! In a medium/small cup just the way I like it. Cool space and nice staff. It's nice to see a couple of independent coffee shops on this side of upper street as most places around are chains. I don't think they do any hot food by their cakes and pastries looked yum so will have to come back! Update: their back garden takes them to 5 stars

I like Coffee. I like Work. I like Projects. I like the CoffeeWorks Project. It all makes sense. On a rainy, blowy day...I am trekking around Islington seeing if I like the "borough" enough to make it my permanent residence. I have no umbrella. I realize this is strange, because everyone should have an umbrella in London, but I was not prepped adequately. So I duck into the nearest coffee shop, which is abuzz with groups of chatting friends on a late Saturday afternoon, lazing about at tables, in the back area with couches and fluffy chairs, in the front window. The nervous energy (a good thing, sometimes) radiated a bit from the staff, but then I realized they'd only been open for 3 weeks. They were doing a great job getting around to check on everyone, and my cappuccino found its way to me at the front window with no trouble. Everyone I encountered was quite friendly. I imagine this spot is a bit more buzzy during the weekends, but probably a lovely spot to sit and chat during the week as well. Will definitely return. Cheers for a new business!

Those guys do the best cakes. Seriously. Especially their salted caramel brownies! Members of staff are all very welcoming and knowledgeable, so if you're a bit of a coffee newbie like me, just ask for help and they'll help you find your perfect cup! https://cakeandwhisky.wordpress.com/2015/05/14/london-coffee-festival-tour

My mum was visiting and we had been joking about all things hipster so I thought it'd be fun to have her try a flat white. I wanted it to be a quality coffee, obviously, so we went to The CoffeeWorks Project after strolling the antiques market in Camden Passage. She liked her coffee but didn't find it especially remarkable either. The soy cap I had was really good and we both enjoyed the courgette, lime, and pistachio loaf we shared. It's a really nice open space and there's a pretty backyard aswell. Stop by when you're in the area!

Timer to allow the perfect tea brew...

If, like me, Coffee is an hourly thought then get yourself down here. It's one of the best cups of coffee I've had in the capital. The setting is simple and puts the drinks at the centre of the process (how it should be done). White walls and exposed brick surround plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There's also an amazing outdoor deck out the back, which I'm told hosts yoga and other activities along the lines of... So then, the coffee...I drink it black so I initially went for a normal Americano. The brew was different and certainly could taste the quality of the bean. The staff take pride in everything they make and it certainly comes through in the cup. Next (and after waiting for the caffeine shakes to die down) I had a long black, and this was insane. The blend that day was a fruity but strong Colombian coffee, dark, rich and very more-ish. I'd more than recommend any coffee lover to try it out. The place had an extensive menus of other drinks, hot teas, soft drinks and also any order of coffee is available on ice. Really good! A few cakes and a real local, creative feel helped put this spot on the map for me. I'll be back very soon. (I could be there now!)

It's a busy place and very popular. But times I had to wait a least five minutes for my flat white as they had a back up of orders and orders were still flying in when I had paid for mine. I sat in once and I had a flat white on another occasion to take away. On the first occasion I had the flat white with the amazing caramel and apple muffin! By far the best muffin I've ever tasted! It was so good, I'm salivating at the thought of it now! Both flat whites were sheer perfection even if I had to wait over five minutes. It was well worth the wait in my opinion. Service at the till was quick and friendly but I think they so quick the barista was not as quick as too keep up. But on the other hand it's best not to rush somethings! I'm definitely putting this on my returning visit to the area! Hell yeah, I'd be stupid not to!

Iced mocha macchiato. Seriously. Best one I've ever had.

I've been vacationing in Europe for almost 3 weeks and coffee has been a necessity nearly every day, sometimes twice. Coming from the United States, I'm used to getting a giant Starbucks the size of a small dog, so coming to Europe was a bit of a coffee shock as the coffees here are small, but I'm here to say that quality over quantity always wins in the world of espresso. It was a cool day, in the mid 70's but we had biked 3 miles to get here so a cold drink sounded great. I spoke with a barista and asked them how they make a mocha, and was pleasantly surprised that they use real dark chocolate. So I decided to get a Iced Mocha Macchiato (I'm kind of a gluten for chocolate.) I've had probably 50 Mocha's from all sorts of different coffee shops and this was the best I've ever had. Period. They mix espresso, milk and no sugar added real dark chocolate flakes together and then steam the whole thing which gives it a thick, creamy consistency. They then poor it over ice and BAM! A-Maze-zing! I would highly recommend this place!

I spotted this coffee shop from Upper Street where I was having lunch at. Looks like a nice artisan coffee shop from far. After meal we had a walk around angel and decided to come here for coffee. It is just right behind of superdry store. From outside it looks like a nice artisan coffee shop. Black and white simple and urban design concept. Very nice atmosphere to chill and have a cup of coffee I'm a flat white lover. I know what I want once I spotted this in their menu. I ordered 2 flat whites and a piece of brownie. the size is rather small for the price of £2.80 for a cup of coffee like an expresso size. The coffee if not as smooth as I expected. There is a tiny bit of sourish of the coffee when it come to the end of the taste...... Not sure if is because of the coffee bean type. The tea menu looks interesting. If I would come back again I would definitely tried out the tea range like oolong, jap green tea, peony, rooibos, etc....... But again £3.50 for tea.......hmmm let see..........
