White mint matcha and autumnal walk
Liz J.

Really nice festive specials. The white mint matcha was really nice. Maybe needs a tad less white chocolate flavour as it was a bit sweet for me. They also had a gingerbread matcha which I appreciate as a lot of places don't do festive matcha. Lacking in customer service though. You order from a screen but I've been to a couple of locations recently where the staff don't acknowledge you except when they call your name. Not even a smile. Bit of a shame so I don't come too frequently.

Inside the shop

Great coffee shop accessible from The Resident hotel. Hours are convenient when it comes to grabbing a cup of coffee and there is a good variety of options with hot and cold coffee. The service was great and recommendations made were taken towards a delicious espresso that gave me a good afternoon wake up. Small shop inside and outside, has seating for a small amount of people so it's best for a quick stop. Stopped by here a few times while visiting and always enjoyed it.

I liked this coffee shop. It really has good vibes. The coffee baristas were great making my flat white. You can also get some pastries and breakfast pastries with your coffee. The pastries were decent. Best of all in my view is that you have an option to use ceramic cups if you drink in - much more civilized and less wasteful.

Latte

We stopped by while waiting for a flight and got a latte. The latte was really good, we added sugar ourselves so it wasn't too sweet. The shop has plenty of outlets making it a good place to charge! Tye baristas were pleasant, but it was very busy so it took a while to receive our coffee.

The croissants were good but my chai latte was quite bland. Maybe the coffee based drinks are better.

Hard to judge very well because my wife and I only had the hot chocolate, but the hot chocolate was very good. I had the peanut butter and my wife had the regular. Latte art was actually very good on each of them as well. Doesn't give me the vibe of the most speciality option you can find in London, but the convenience of how close it is to Victoria Station and the need for some warmth made it a great place to stop for us. Be advised this is a small shop, no tables inside, and only some stools. I'd recommend if you're in the area and need a quick pick me up or warning from the cool air.

Turmeric latte- winter fave
Karen P.

All I have to say is TURMERIC latte. Very light and slightly sweetened and is a winter classic. If you are in London and need/want some of this smooth creamy delishness, stop into Black Sheep. The cafe's character in here is Uber cute- it may bring back memories

Too slow. No communication. Left before trying their coffee. So can't speak to the coffee.

I was invited to the grand opening of this new coffee shop, they served me a nice fresh cup of coffee and I had a great time.

Not as nice as others, poorly merchandised pastries look unappealing here. We got ours elsewhere. Coffee is still good. Minimal seating.

I loved the decor and atmosphere. Food: My friend and I both ordered the traditional English breakfast. I had mine with vegan sausage. The breakfast was exactly what I expected and was pretty good. I was excited they had a vegan sausage option instead of leaving the sausage off like other places. Service: Our service was quick and friendly. We were able to order promptly and our food came out in an expected amount of time. There is a bit of a time limit for stays because they are so busy, but we didn't feel rushed at all. TL;DR - Lovely place for an English breakfast

It was nice to have some vegetables and it was enjoyable. The vanilla scone came in warm and enough clotted cream and jam. The pot of tea was plenty for 2 people. The quality of tea is nothing special just a traditional British breakfast tea. The service was fast and friendly. The interior was decorated that really feels traditionally British, it was a nice touch to the overall experience. Cute tea cups were used as well.

Around here it's all been the main chains, and lunchtime sandwich bars. Quality's therefore ranged from acceptably-above-mediocre to DIRE. With the arrival of Fabio & Charlie and The Flat Cap Coffee Company however all this has changed, and proper coffee can be found in the streets of Westminster! Fabio is an expert barista with incredible knowledge and attention to detail, and insists on using high-quality ingredients (incl. Square Mile Coffee) to produce a cup which is something I genuinely look forward to in the morning (as opposed to the routine "heart starter" that a coffee once was). The prices are on par with other places around the area - somewhere in the vicinity of £1.80 to £2.20 depending on what you're having. They also sell a very tasty range of pastries & whatnot brought in from Villandry, although you've usually got to get in pretty quick in the morning!

They had a variety of options including a souvenir English tea box set. I did consider getting this, but it was a little pricey just because it gave you a souvenir box. We opted for a caned g&t, iced coffee and scones. Overall, all of the items were tasty. The space however, was quite crowded and had a very high number of bees buzzing about. So many that we had to move to a different spot, but that area was also active with bees. This resulted in us cutting our visit a bit shorter than we had liked. Since you can't take pictures inside the palace, the spot is a good one to snap some pics of the outside of the palace and allows you to say you've had tea at Buckingham Palace.

I also felt the need to drink tea too (so I could say that I had tea at Buckingham Palace) so I decided to get the peppermint tea which was very soothing. Along with the drinks, my family and I shared a few of the goodies from the café such as the salmon and cream cheese on an english muffin and a few desserts. Our favorite treat hands down was a type of strawberry short cake (not sure the name but i'll upload a picture). We had to go back and buy another after. Besides the food and drinks, you get to enjoy it all with the beautiful view of the gardens.
