    Latte

Since visiting London, this is the best coffee shop I've come across in the area. Latte came out nice and hot, great roast. I've gotten both a latte with soy and oat milk, both creamy! Service and ambiance is phenomenal.

My favorite spot for expresso. It's near my hotel The London Edition. Great vibe, banana bread (toasted with butter) and expression from Red Brick. Great work folks!

Oat Milk cappuccino, slice of cherry polenta cake, and a green apple and gruyère scroll! All so yummy

if you're picky about pastries and coffee, and you want some really good milky espresso- look no further. Try their oat milk capp for a cozy treat, or their decaf americano (best decaf espresso i've had in a while). the inside is super sweet, and a great place to take a buddy, split a pastry, and stop to enjoy your coffee!

Came here as Vogue said it was one of the need to go to cafes in London. Had a latte as shown in the picture. It was nice and smooth, a little confused why it was served in a glass (as it was hot) and not a cup but overall was a good experience.

The manager/proprietor/dude-in-the-know was equal parts friendly and business-like. We got through the mini-line without a hitch and took a seat at the window. The flat whites did delight and the banana bread, when heated, was a toasty-warm bit of heaven with melted butter on it. (The plum jam in the vicinity was a nice accompaniment, too!) Efficient, friendly and tidy is Kaffeine. More shops should follow their lead. Word to the wise: they are open on Sunday when others choose to remain closed.

Undoubtedly the best banana bread I've had at 8am

My favourite cafe in London by a mile. Breakfast: Fairly easy to get a seat if you come for breakfast. Banana bread is a MUST TRY at some point. I've been for breakfast twice when they were sneakily giving away samples to tempt customers. Get it toasted, they serve it with a bit of butter, and it is simply divine. Their breakfast croissants are awesome too. Lunch/brunch: It gets packed on weekday lunches. The queue moves fast if you're taking out, but it can be a challenge finding a seat. That being said, one of the most amazing things about kaffeine is that most people seem to take out (I've only ever eaten in) so as long as there's just 1/2 of you, getting a seat shouldn't be a problem. Weekend brunch timings (11/12) are slightly emptier. All their sandwiches are great. They often have interesting combinations and they all work. Likewise, their salad combinations are a safe bet. Coffee: I pretty much just get the latte, and often end up ordering 2. It's well poured, the right amount of creaminess to coffee ratio. I never add sugar to theirs because it's always served right. Solid latte art too (always helps!). They also usually have a few types of beans. One of the nice things is that despite it being largely self-service, when they come around to clear the cups, you can order more coffee from them at that point. They also often suggest trying the other beans on offer, and all have different notes so it's definitely worth doing. Special mentions: Outdoor seating - they have what is essentially a bench outside. Seats 4-5. My preferred spot when it's sunny. On a weekend you can stare at Riding House Cafe just opposite and wonder why on earth they have an hour long waiting list when Kaffeine is so much better. Toilets - Special mention only because I love their soaps and the scents they have the in toilets Cards - If I remember correctly it's a minimum 7 pound charge

I am always looking for new coffee places and when researching where to go while in London, Kaffeine consistently came up top on the list. I made it my mission and Kaffeine did not disappoint. It's a small coffee shop but smartly designed and a decent amount of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. We lucky enough to grab two seats by the window; perfect for people watching. Kaffeine offers a variety of pastries and sandwiches but we were just there for the coffee. My husband ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a latte. The coffee was fantastic; well made and flavorful. It is clear that Kaffeine takes their coffee seriously. It was the perfect amount for me too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. If you appreciate a good cup of coffee than I suggest paying a visit to Kaffeine.

Yelp and my twin sister advised a visit here! On my flat white tour of London on this visit, it was certainly a tasty experience. Small, as a fair warning. Perhaps flat whites are always small? Huge thumbs up for the small glasses of water placed on our table when we sat down. Very refreshing. Slick decor inside, exactly how you'd imagine all this hip coffee shops to look (visible wood and bricks must it appears! :P )

I love their coffee!! I work around the corner and I stop in on my way to work. It gets quite busy at all times of the day, so be prepared to wait. I love their coffee so much that I asked if they did a larger size (they only have one size for a couple of the coffees) they told me that they only do the small size because they do not want to compromise the taste quality of the coffee. Note: seating is limited and the coffee may be a little strong if you are not a regular coffee drinker.

I was in the neighborhood looking for a coffee shop where I could sit and get some work done and yelped up Kaffeine. When I got there, I realized that it wasn't what I was expecting.. it was small, busy, and packed with people. As I waited in the queue, I was admiring their pastries and takeaway items, but unfortunately I just had a huge lunch so anything besides coffee wasn't going to go down well... then I thought about it. Yupppppp, I ended up finding some room for dessert. There was a raspberry and custard muffin calling out my name so I got that. And as for coffee, a Flat White. Sat inside for a little while soaking in the ambiance until I decided to mosey on over elsewhere to find a place to work. Last thoughts on Kaffeine -- cool place, good coffee, busy place.

Tea was mild and delicious. The milk is a game changer. The tart was everything I could imagine. Not over sweet, great texture and flavor is thru this world

I was really excited to check out Kaffeine during my visit in London. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly barista and she made sure I knew what I was getting. They use and sell Square Mile beans, and after reading such wonderful reviews, I ordered a Flat White and asked for a pastry recommendation--to which she gave me a quick walk-through of every baked good they offered. Despite her recommendation for one of the muffins, I opted for the toasted banana bread. GET THE TOASTED BANANA BREAD (caps for emphasis, of course). The banana bread was paired perfectly with my coffee and I enjoyed every bit of it; it was a great way to start my morning. They also have mint and lemon water to offer in the pitchers towards the back. There is also seating in the back corner, along the wall, and in front of the shop. I would definitely come back and nab a seat in the front--perfect for people watching and enjoying the weather.

Breakfast: Latte, black Americano, croissant with Ham & a must try red pesto mozzarella pastry roll

Discovered this lovely gem in 2015 and it has been our favorite hang out spot over the weekends. They make good coffee, decent selection of pastries and cakes, and a lovely environment. Its good if you want to bring your laptop here to work and have a good cup of coffee. The place is small but generally good for couples or group of 3 (Max), wouldn't advise bringing a large crowd here.

My sister-in-law is an amazing planner, and since we were meeting family in London for a few days, she planned a wonderful tea for us here at Tea and Tattle. This place is an old family bookstore that was then turned into a wonderful spot for afternoon tea {with still carrying on the feel and look of a quaint book shop}. Reservations are required since it is only large enough for two, maybe three seatings at a time. Once your party is seated, you will receive your menu and decide on the Tea menu that you desire {how many Teas, Sandwiches, Cakes and Scones - with a wide variety of each}. Would you prefer a Coffee, a Smoothie or a Salad? No worries, they have those options as well. Be sure to inform your host about any allergies as they can customize your tea settings based on any restrictions. The Hubs and I decided on the Tea For One - This included a pot of Earl Grey {or your tea of choice}, a selection of five Mini Tea Sandwiches which may vary {ours included Cream Cheese, Chive and Cucumber / Mature Cheddar and Chutney / Ham, Rocket and Red Onion Marmalade / Ham with Mayo, Mustard and Tomato / Chicken with Cucumber and Lemon Mayo Chutney}, Scones topped with a Delicious, Mouth-Watering Cream and Strawberry & Raspberry Jams as well as Lemon Cake and Mini Chocolate Eclairs. Each guest will also be served a deliciously tangy glass of lemonade as a final sip for the afternoon. Every single bite and sip of tea was perfectly paired and the experience was a wonderful way to spend our last day in London with the family. I highly recommend this experience if you want to feel a little extra fancy and enjoy a spectacular afternoon tea.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
