Probably my favorite spot while visiting London (9.5/10). While visiting London, we looked for a great coffee spot, and let me tell you, we found it. Although the interior of the cafe is small, it does have a few seats if you want to enjoy the drink sitting down, but you might have order it to go. When you walk in, the place screams Japan; simple, minimalist, wood padded interior. But the hero here is definitely the coffee; I ordered an espresso, and it was perfect, smooth and balanced. All in all, if you are looking for great coffee, Omotesando is the place to go. My Criteria: 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 star: This restaurant should be closed. read more

The soy cappuccino I had was incredible - perfect foam/coffee ratio, balanced smooth coffee and came out fast. I will say there was a long line out the door when I arrived and very little seating. It felt a bit cramped so I drank my cappuccino and left. It's nice for a quick break or takeaway but not the best for sitting down and relaxing. It is tucked away in one of the side streets and is unassuming Cafe if you walk by, but don't let that fool you for what it has to offer. The Matcha was tasty even without sweetener. The service was quick and while they have a limited seating, they do have options that are right by a window for natural light. read more

Woke up early this morning and wanted to satisfy my matcha craving. Decided to search around and discovered Omotesando Koffee. I got just an iced matcha latte. A bit sweeter than I like it but not bad. I didn't think that it was that great tbh but can see why people would come here. It has the aesthetic of what a matcha shop would look like. Omotesando makes an amazing matcha. 1. I visited 3 times over the course of 6 days and I think that says it all. 2. Their matcha lattes are made with Oatly, which is always a plus. 3. The matcha flavor is strong and the latte itself is slightly sweet - just the way I like it. 4. They also have these things called kashi, or what they call baked custard. The best way to describe kashi is if canelés were mini and square shaped. These little treats were so good. An order of one would be a great complement to your drink and a pack of 5 would make an amazing snack. 5. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a pick me up. read more

Awesome flat white. Also had pour over, which was quite good, but please have an espresso based drink if you are choosing only one. Be patient with the queue and be surprised that they take care to discuss with you and then deliver a delightful drink. Went again the next day. They remember you! Had the matcha latte this time and kashi. Matcha is unsweetened so just expect real matcha flavor and you will be pleased. You gotta get the Kashi. This crispy concoction hiding a slightly sweet custard is a delight to eat. read more

I'm a tourist from America and stumbled across this matcha shop from being jet lagged, hoping for a dirty matcha. I asked if I could have a matcha with a shot of espresso in it, and they gave me a nasty look and asked if im sure i wanted that. i said yes and they said they can't do that, for their brand image. Super convenient location being just off the Bond St tube station! The matcha latte was super nuanced in flavor, with a hint of a seaweed taste. Loved it even without the extra added sugar I was offered! I found service to be a little rushed and curt, but it was pretty busy inside, so that's understandable. There's very limited seating and no restroom, so I would definitely take any purchases to-go. Loved the dashi, which is like a cannele in a cube. Highly recommend! read more

I was visiting london because boyfriend is working there. Visited london twice. The first time, i found this place...i was addicted visually by their iced Capp that i saw someone post on IG. I had to get it...I'm not a huge cappuccino person, i'm more of a latte person...but this Capp was amazing...light fluffy foam dusted with unsweetened cocoa powder. The espresso was great, not bitter or acidic. Perfect balance. I could probably drink two a day. Almost tasted like an adult chocolate milk The baristas are very quiet and polite. Inside is very minimalist. Clean lines, clean store...just lovely. The sign outside is even easy to miss because the sign is minimal...just black and white with a square After my first visit, i went home...and i craved this iced cappuccino... Was blessed with a second visit and this is where i went for one of my first places when i came back. Bf has tried their matcha latte and it is very matcha-y. LoL. Very earthy and smooth. Gorgeous coffee. Opt for one of the pour overs. I had the one from Burundi? recommended by the barista. If a coffee can taste like velvet, this one did. Also, the iced matcha was a great "to-go" choice. Beautiful, clean, but limited seating space along the front window (all counter seating). It does get quite warm sitting in the window space, so try to get there before the rush? (It seemed to be non-stop busy the entire time I was there around noonish). There's one space on the far end away from the entrance that is tucked in away from the sun. Overall, delightful environment and excellent coffee. I'd definitely return. read more

This is a really fashionable chic Japanese coffee shop, very simplistic and design with bar style seating and a chic atmosphere. They have a variety of coffee including filter coffee, iced versions and also matcha matte both hot and iced. The matcha latte here is amazing; it's not sweet and tastes like proper real matcha which I like, and soy or oat milk options are also available. The prices are higher than the average coffee shop, but it's worth it for the quality. Other than price, the only downsides are no toilets or free wifi... Been here twice and this is now one of my go-to spots to meet someone for coffee. Tried their ice cappuccino and matchachino, and I personally preferred their ice cappuccino (which is also their signature drink). It's smooth and velvety, perfect on a hot summer day. Their matcha lattes use high grade matcha, but I felt that the matchachino lacked enough matcha. Very large drinks for london prices, just wish that there was more seating :) read more

Don't be fooled by the stylistic and sleek, just focus on the coffee. People tend towards myopia when reviewing coffee shops, they'll say "but the design, their environmental impact, etc.". This place masquerades as something greater than it is. Pour over was subpar, a pretty muddled taste and not something I'd pay more than a couple pounds for. The saving grace is the Kashi and to that I'll tip my hat. read more

Finding an Omotesando in the middle of London was a true and incredible surprise. London has so many third-wave coffee shops now that good espresso drinks are not difficult to find, but I was happy to trudge the extra two blocks to start my morning here.
