Located in South Croydon ( the outskirts of London) this beautiful tea house will leave you day…read moredreaming! After several Google services, I came across Dotty's website, it is well put together and really grabbed my attention Seeing Dotty's in real life was like a dream. The establishment is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner really invested in the place and the people who work there. There is a pink bicycle parked outside, the establishment is pink, the decor is very elegant--perfect for a photo op I opt to do the afternoon tea with Prosecco added on as well as some scones to go. It was a very fair price per person. Under £80 for the entire experience for 2 people. They also sell other assorted desserts, shakes and cakes All the employees were attentive, they explained in detail what our package came with and they made sure we were happy from start to finish. EVERYTHING was delicious! From the English tea down to the Pimms jello HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10!!

I stumbled on the listing while doing a search for tea places before I left Washington, DC to travel to London. Unfortunately I didn't make the reservation myself (relied on family in London to make it) so we didn't get booked for the afternoon tea service as I'd hoped and just had a reserved table instead. Still, I indulged in some scones with cream and strawberry jam, paired with a strong cup of decaf English breakfast tea. The staff is very friendly and took the time to explain the drink and pastry options to us. I hope I get a chance to visit again for the full tea service before the end of my trip!

I've walked pass this shop many times admiring the cakes and desserts in the shop window but never…read morehad the time to go inside, until today. As I walked in I was ushered to a table straight away and had a look at the menu which to my surprise there was a breakfast and lunch menu which all seemed overpriced but I thought I would give them the benefit if the doubt with the ingredient that have been used. So I ordered the mushroom and cheese crossaint with a vanilla ice cream milkshake which I was informed the ice cream was homemade and the vanilla seeds were visible. The food arrived first and looked delicious but tasted very bland with the side salad. When the milkshake arrived it was in a small glass and was mainly foam and no visible vanilla seeds to be seen. So when approaching the manager about this she was unapologetic and brought the icecream over to show there is no seeds in the icecream. So if you want to be over charged ie my bill came to £9, then come here!

The cafe decor is nice and clean. The staff are incompetent bordering on rude, they are not interested in you or for offering a service, leave a tip I don't think so. I have been on 2 occasions trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but not again, this boat has sailed.

Me and my friend both went up to the bar and ordered our food and sat back to wait for it. My drink came quite quickly but it was about half an hour wait for our food. My friend went up to the bar and asked what was happening and they said there was a huge amount of tickets coming in and they were trying to get through them.. sok after a staff member came and said the food was on its way..we then waited another 5/10 minutes and our food finally arrived. The staff member whole brought the food over was very apologetic..The food was presented nice on little boards so had that rustic look and it tasted lovely. The brisket was soft and melted in the mouth, the fries was nice and crunchy unfortunately the little pot of gravy was water, oily and tasteless. I then went to the toliets and they were nicely decorated unfortunately some of the toilets were messy with tissue in the toliet and some on the floor.. shame they obviously dont check the toilets often, spoke to someone who came out of one of the toilets, and they said the toilet they were in was overflowing! Its a shame about the waiting time as i would have rated it a bit higher if it wasnt for that and i would have went back for the food as it did taste good but the time waiting is a bit off putting!!.

Still love this place and never disapointed…read more It's a Sunday afternoon and E&F has a great buzz. Lots of people enjoying drinks and delicious food. This place has fantastic helpful happy staff with a sense of humour coupled with great service. Clientele is varied from families, couples and friends. One couple were playing scrabble another having afternoon tea. I had the Moroccan tea, v good and refreshing. The strawberry and cream popcorn is to die for. My friend had the energy boost smoothie in a trendy beaker and it was v good. I've been in here for cocktails with the girls and again the service is fab and the cocktails delish. I loved the espresso martini as good as you get. Miss this place when your in Sutton and you miss out. Xoxo

Unfortunately, the match at Cheam was cancelled very late by the opposition captain who arrived late!!! So, both teams were all assembled by the time he got there to make the official decision not to play. As we had already cleared time in our schedule to play, my team decided instead to have breakfast together. A quick wander through Cheam Village brought us to Piggies, which was warm and serving cooked breakfasts. Piggies offers a full sandwich bar service but cooks hot breakfasts to order as well. My team had a variety of different items, ranging from scrambled egg to sausages to mushrooms. Other than a few mixups with orders, the food did arrive quite fast. Piggies was a nice place to spend a morning warming up after the disappointment of not being to play our match.

In fact I used to have driving lessons round Cheam and my instructor and I had a conversaton about good Piggies is and the next thing I know we are pulling in and getting food. I would agree with Sarah's comment about good value for money too. It is my favourite food place in Cheam Village I reckon.
