Easy to order from the screen but they're super helpful if you're stuck or don't know how to navigate it. An old man actually showed up while I was ordering and he had no clue what to do. He must have been in his 80s, it was nice to see how chilled and super patient he was helped by the guy behind the counter, who walked and helped him. Cheers to that. The place itself is so clean and super spacious. Two levels with the WC on the bottom level. The large windows on the top level allow you to seat and watch the street outside. The chairs to lounge are super cozy and comfy. My coffee latte was super tasty and my ham and cheese sandwich was the perfect combination of sweet and savory.

If you add extra toppings they just will not add them. You have to wait over 10 minutes after recieving it for it to melt even to the extent that you can begin breaking up the solid frozen block of acai, banana, granola, and penut butter. Even once it has thawn enought to attempt to eat it, all components are bland and flavourless. Also insanely expensive (£8+) for an approx 7.5 cm diameter bowl of frozen, flavourless slop.

Well, it was a good thing we did, since we didn't get to go back for afternoon tea... Just as the name suggests, it is located right by the canal. It was very picturesque, peaceful and relaxing. They also have seating upstairs, and had histories on the canal, with photos posted all around the wall. Their cakes looked amazing, but I decided not to order any dessert on this day. Yes I know, a big mistake! Our friend ordered Heavenly Hot Chocolate, and it looked so pretty! We went with Teashop House Blend Tea, and Earl Grey. The young boy who brought the teas (I hear this is a family-run business) was trying to very careful not to mix them up. But the funny thing was, he totally mixed the tea up! LOL. We didn't realize until half way through... I thought the House Blend tea tasted so much like Earl Grey. For lunch, we had Ham, Cheese & Chutney Sandwich and Eggs Benedict. They were both tasty, nice portion, and filling. Our friend went with something healthier, and ordered one of their vegan sandwiches. It is nice to have that option if you want or need vegan dish. We had a nice quick lunch here. It was adorable and cozy. The food was good, not amazing, but good. I think the sweets might be better than the actual food...I will never know, unless I go back! Lesson learned: don't never expect your plan to go just the way you planned them...and have your dessert first!

I had breakfast on a few weekdays and the weekend, first ordering the breakfast specials (bacon, sausage, eggs), and gradually selecting smaller combinations to reduce the quantity of food to start the day! Every breakfast was cooked to order freshly, and was served piping hot within a few minutes. Having chips for breakfast somehow seems wrong, so I ordered and enjoyed the sauteed potatoes (and skipped toast, as loading on too many starches). The layout has a series of long tables with chairs, and a few seats at the window to look out onto the street. The clientele included a lot of workmen. Some ordered breakfast to be eaten right away, and then a sandwich as takeout, presumably for lunch. The posters of winners and losers for competitive eating -- the Mega Breakfast, and Burger Challenge -- were entertaining. They also reflect the good humour of the staff, continuously circling amongst the mostly quiet customers. I was staying at the Acacia Villas across the street, and stopped by on a few mornings on the way to the university. This place starts early in the day, and was closed by the late afternoons on my return.

BEST BREAKFAST IN GUILDFORD…read more (probably not for vegetarians) As a member of the building community I have been known to spend a rainy morning in the Woodbridge Cafe. What I love here is the good old fashioned 'greasy spoon' workers cafe atmosphere (not that it's greasy but you get my point). Drive past on a weekday morning and you will spot a sprawl of illegally parked work vans surrounding the small hut-like cafe. The service is friendly, the tables are clean and the food is delicious. There is a lot on the menu to choose from but I've honestly never given it a second look the only thing I ever go for is the biggest cooked breakfast on offer. Definitely worth a visit no matter what your walk of life also a good place to stop in for a cuppa!
