Concept is interesting - part cafe, part bank, part workspace, part bank. The space is modern and clean, and set up perfectly if you want to sit and get work done. Lots of seating and outlets with free wifi. I didn't get to try the coffee and got the matcha instead which was pretty refreshing. The menu also included light food options like sandwiches and pastries which are convenient if you want something quick. Another big perk is you get 50% off drinks if you have a Capital One or Discover card which makes it a much better value and a reason to come back.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the STL area, though it does tend to be on the pricier side.

They currently do not have an app or website to have your beverages made ahead of time but they mentioned it is something they are looking into. TLDR: Worth going to. Parking might be interesting. Be warned there is a risk of a wait for their busy morning crowd.

Pricing is really reasonable... which allows you to indulge in some additional baked goods or one of their fun merchandise items like homemade dog treats, t-shirts, mugs, etc. I also like that they have a small shelf of books, records, and games if you want a little BFF time - with your bestie or for just yourself! I enjoy stopping in for refreshments and a little break from shopping on Lindbergh, or getting something to go to enjoy at home. The vibe is relaxed, and easy-going, and marching to the beat of its own drum. You gotta love places like this! There is plenty of parking, and the lot is easy to get in and out of. Just watch your step at the doorway entry/exit. It's got a slight incline - so watch your step. Seating is limited, but it seems to work, because there is a steady "to go" crowd that doesn't take up the tables. I love this cool spot in South County! It's local, and I love that over bigger, more expensive alternatives. I've been thinking a lot about those cinnamon rolls. So, I need another visit!

I arrived early at around 8:15. This is a relatively small establishment with a small parking lot. It looks like they have a trailer available for mobile coffee service too. They were fairly busy and it seemed like only one person was working. I enjoyed listening to the alternative music and hanging out in the store. It was clean and comfortable. I ordered one of their March specials, the Peanut Butter Guts, as I love coffee and peanut butter together. I also ordered a cookie from Cookie Hustle (which I think is like a sister business housed under the same roof) -- a pumpkin snickerdoodle. Sounded so good! I enjoyed my coffee drink. It definitely had a detectable and enjoyable peanut butter flavor, as well as the mocha. I think it was a tiny bit heavy on milk for my preference, but overall it was tasty. I ate the cookie later and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect chewy snickerdoodle texture and lots of yummy spices. I wish I'd gotten several different cookies to try more! When I showed up at breakfast with my coffee, my family remarked on how much they like this little shop and keep coffee from here at their house for special occasions. High praise! If you're in the area, give them some love! :)

I also love that this space aims to provide front/ back of house skills for adults with intellectual disabilities. We went in the afternoon, so a lot of bakery items were sold out (good sign). They had full size gooey butter cakes and pre wrapped items ready to, so definitely keeping that in mind. They also had their famous smile cookies (I've been eating them since I was a kid). They have a full ice cream bar in here (had no idea) which is great to add to the sweet treat line up. My coffee was great (iced latte) and the service was also good. Parking can be tricky in downtown Kirkwood (if you know you know) but we scored a lucky spot on the street right outside. Check it out!

A few of the employees -- people perhaps in their early 20s who did not appear to take their jobs as seriously as the cashier -- were engaged in a private conversation behind the counter. The cashier and customers had to wait a moment to get their attention about a menu item that had been discontinued, though the online menu we found had not been updated. We had a group of 8 people. We sat upstairs. I wasn't all over the setup of the space. Perhaps half of the seating is upstairs and the stairs have a bend/turn. The person bussing lost control of the tray. From what I could see, in her attempt to regain control of the tray, she fell and broke something or some glass cut her and she was bleeding quite a lot before she left for treatment. I think smaller trays may be in order, or a dumbwaiter, or perhaps an employee with better upper body control could do this task. Between that and a comment said by one of the waitstaff that I prefer not to repeat, I am hoping I caught them on an "off" day. We need more businesses like this one. The food was good, too, so I will return.

She loved it but had plenty to take for leftovers. They have a small parking lot but we parked on the nearby side street and didn't have an issue. I thought we'd have to wait for a table but we didn't have any wait. Maybe this is a hidden gem of St Louis. It certainly is to us because it was so tasty. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the baristas. I received a compliment on the shirt I was wearing and then we placed our order. He immediately asked if Kylie would like a pup cup which she happily accepted. The layout of the space reminds me of an online library - rows of books, couches, board games, etc. they even had a kids library area which was so cute! Their menu offers more than just coffee too, which was awesome! They also have specialty lattes available. Kylie made herself at home and got tons of attention from all the sweet customers. Can't wait to go back!

This is where things took a turn for the worse. Beet salad was decent, I just wish they put more of the toppings. Was basically just a bowl of arugula. The mushroom ravioli was sadly a let down for me. The pasta was rolled far too thin on top of the filling and far too thick on the sides so unfortunately the tops of the ravioli were paper thin and overcooked while the sides were still raw. Really unappetizing to cut a ravioli open and see raw pasta. Honestly the flavor was pretty rich but not terrible it's just the ravioli itself wasn't well executed. The lovely waitress noticed that I wasnt completely satisfied and took the ravioli off the check. I ordered some "wagyu" sliders that were juicy but in desperate need of some salt. She also offered me a free dessert which was a warm olive oil cake which had a nice orange flavor to it. Honestly quite a nice ending to an underwhelming meal. Would come back for drinks, though.

I'll start by mentioning I am a regular at Starbucks, I am there everyday. As I ordered my drink today an employee decided work was the appropriate place to talk about a protest she participated in. She also mentioned how she spoke poorly to the police that were present at the protest. You are free to have your beliefs, but work is not the time to publicize those beliefs, especially when all you patrons aren't anti- police. I won't be visiting this location again and I'll be sure my pro- police friends and family don't either. read more

They thanked us for coming in today and made sure we were satisfied with our order. They did run out of a couple things (which is totally normal!) but were super sweet to let us know and try to provide an alternative for us. Both days my coffee and spinach feta wrap were super yummy - like I think I might have to buy the ingredients to make this wrap on my own at home. Overall, a super reliable chain to order from with a super friendly staff who seem to love their jobs :)

Let me add they don't care about HONEST criticism and the owners deeply speaks for itself as rather than contacting for details they went on to attack me LOL again a horrid business and this location specifically is terrible, the ice machine is molded and never cleaned. I don't care what this horrible place has to say to say to cover their asses, you are putting your health at risk to go here.

Lots of coffee/tea options, they have gluten-free goodies and I noticed they had some quiche and soups, so while I didn't get any food, I would not be opposed, for sure! The place was clean and bright, and the local art everywhere was really cool. The bathroom was tidy, service was great, definitely will be back when I'm in the area.

I'd just done a training run that began and ended at the shoe store across the street. At the conclusion, I was given a Paloma-flavored non-alcoholic beer, courtesy of one of my running group's sponsors, but what was I supposed to do with that? It was decided that we needed coffee. (How ironic, by the way. Receiving a free beer from your sponsor.) We seem to have gotten there just in time. There was already a healthy crowd of people who apparently weren't runners, based on their physique (lol jk), and several people from our running group arrived after we did. People apparently like this place. The vibe is quirky and independent, with a lot of random decor, including a Blues Brothers poster and a sign declaring that the Teletubbies are welcome, and a lot of local-interest signage and artwork. People in the City love to remind themselves that they're in St. Louis. You never see anything like that in my native West County. Truth be told, I wouldn't even go into a coffee shop unless someone else suggested it. It costs less at QT. But I figured when in Rome. I wasn't about to get a sandwich, in part because I wasn't hungry, and in part because I'm always wary of food from places that specialize in coffee, but I figured I'd try one of their fancy coffee drinks instead of just a regular coffee. I went with something called a Zippity Do Da, or something to that effect. It was a latte, served hot or cold (I of course went with hot), with... if I'm not mistaken, peanut butter, honey and mocha. I liked the idea that there was a peanut butter element, in part because I couldn't imagine what that would be like. Peanut butter, even the welfare version you get at Aldi, is at least somewhat viscous. Was this going to be more like a milkshake? That could be gross, and grossly caloric, canceling out any benefit of my training run. Of course I was going to drink it anyway. Turns out that the peanut butter was the element that was least prominent in the overall taste of this drink, though you could in fact taste it. I found it impressive that, if you concentrated hard enough, you could detect elements of peanut butter, honey and mocha. It's like when you purchase a fancy bottle of wine, from, perhaps, the aforementioned Aldi, and you really can taste bits of oak, vanilla, campfire and a slight nuttiness. No Diddy. These people are true coffee artists, the cafe equivalent of people who work at Subway. I'm at the nearby shoe store every once in a while, so maybe I'll return. I might even cop a bagel.
