With the rise of coffee shops everywhere, Starbucks has remained consistent and convenient enough to drive to considering the multiple locations. This starbucks, however, stands out because of the clean environment, friendly baristas, and great location. The drive through is quick and the baristas at this location are some of the friendliest I have ever met at a starbucks. I frequent this place regularly, everyday, so the baristas know me by now but never fail to give me a smile and a greeting. My drink is always consistent and tastes great.

I decided on the apple butter latte, roommate got the pumpkin chai. They were both really good drinks. TBH the latte wasn't as sweet as I was expecting but it was still tasty as the espresso tasted delicious. I also bought a matcha chocolate chip cookie which was heavy on the matcha flavor which I enjoyed. The ambiance was really comforting and cozy. Something about the lighting made it feel that way. It's almost decorated like someone's nice living room. It just felt good and I immediately thought about how my other coffee loving friend needs to come here. They also have a rewards system where you can get 5 dollars off for your birthday which is pretty sweet. Ok thanks for reading this, highly recommend!!

The coffee was really good too, and I loved how creative the menu was. They definitely have some fun drinks you don't see everywhere. The food, though... it was just okay. Not bad by any means, but it didn't really match how much I enjoyed everything else. I had a muffin that looked amazing but tasted a little underwhelming. The inside is a vibe. Plenty of seating whether you're meeting up with friends, knocking out some work, or just enjoying a coffee by yourself. I'd absolutely come back for the coffee and the atmosphere. If the food stepped up a notch, this would easily be a 5-star.

It was about half full at 2 pm with people studying or enjoying themselves. The person at the counter was perfect. Friendly without being pushy. We originally ordered a pumpkin spice latte and Vietnamese coffee with a cinnamon roll. When I was taking pics for Yelp I saw a blueberry lemon cookie and that was it for me. I sincerely hoped they weren't going to massacre this thing. It was huge and delicious. Perfect balance of everything. I will be ordering two more to-go before I leave this place. It was a rainy day on our visit or I would have sat outside and enjoyed the day. But inside was definitely comforting and enjoyable. Come here it is definitely worth a visit.

This iced Honey Badger is the best coffee I have ever had!!…read more I have tried to recreate it myself with honey, cinnamon and vanilla, but it never tastes as good as when I get it from the store. The workers are always super friendly too!! I signed up for the perks so every time I purchase something I get points. I've got enough now for a full bag of any of their coffees, yay!!!

Kookaburra...what happened?…read more When we first moved to Saint John's a few years ago from California, I thought the speciality coffee was sure to disappoint. However, to my surprise, Kookaburra had phenomenal lattes. On top of that it's a great place to bring the kids and was our Saturday ritual we looked to do after taking my girls to the dance studio nearby. However, for the past 6 months the quality of the lattes has deteriorated. The lattes come out either too bitter, watery and/or EXTREMELY hot. (It is possible to burn the milk while you froth it.) I'm not sure what it is, maybe the machines aren't being cleaned frequently, the espresso isn't dialed in, there is a new staff that isn't trained properly and pays attention to details? This is also not a one time occasion. I have come back many times and hoped the quality would be different. I've given back my latte and pointed out its ways too hot , the milk hasn't frothed well, etc, but still leave disappointed. One thing that I can't wrap my mind around is that there is a coffee shop about 10 minutes (Mikes Pour) which sources their beans Kookaburra and were initially trained by Kookaburra. Same recipes , just different name AND better taste. This place can be the perfect shop for the neighborhood. And I love the brand and was inclined to buy some swag. I'll be back eventually , with the hope the quality has improved. This place has the potentially to be 5 stars..

The woman was very informative when my husband asked about larger party orders and was able to provide options immediately. The inside is adorable. There is a cute neon sign (always good for pics), flowers everywhere, cute French terrace looking tables and chairs. The pastry display is right in front, so it's easy to make your choices before you get to the register. The spinach feta pastry was good but we felt it could have been fuller and had a little seasoning. The s'mores iced late was good but not necessarily something I'm going to list after. The guava cheese cruffin.... I saw stars. It was so good. The cream cheese was rich and delicious, the outside of the cruffin had a caramelization to it and was so good. The Dubai stuffed croissant was good. It had the crunchies on the inside with pistachio cream then chocolate and crushed pistachios on top. Again, the greedy in me wanted it fuller, but it was great. I'd definitely go back for a cruffin... there were so many flavors I wanted to try like Nutella, lemon curd blueberry, cinnamon cheese. There was a tiramisu pastry and a creme brûlée pastry that looked amazing.

There are also games and things to do if you're inclined. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you're looking for something new.
