I can't believe I become the regular here! Reason I said that was because this place was once needing help to tidy up, but from my last review two months ago, this place has been improved! And I find myself coming here more often! Ha! Drive through line is long, maybe because the indoor seating is very limited..(?) The line is so long that barista have to go out with linked iPad to take orders for cars staying more than 5 minutes in line. My suggestion is -- 1. To rearrange interior for more seats, or comfortable sofas, with more welcoming ambiance, so customers are willing to stay in. 2. Also, the working station for all baristas is way too small, consider this location is very busy, (it's not baristas too slow, it's just over capacity XD) there is not much counter space for cold drink; you need 6~8 baristas to work at peak hours but there's no space for people to move around. It's hard to be the baristas at this location.. :P 3. There are many outdoor seatings, which not enough usage for putting over there... even during Summer, it's really too hot to sit outside, really. They say the Summer will become hotter and hotter going forward... Just look at the unused space out there..... A total makeover for this location is very much needed. Just a thought. read more

The absolute slowest drive-thru service I have ever experienced. Avoid if at all possible.

By far the worst Starbucks in the area. The orders are always, without fail, late if you preorder. They absolutely prioritize drive thru and in person guests. The last two times I preordered here it was 20+ minutes for my order. Both times my app said the order was ready. Not sure what the disconnect is. read more

The good on this Starbucks is it's location. Looking for a place to drive thru and go found this one. Right on Route 9 and minutes away from the Garden State Parkway north or south entrance. Yes, they serve up that Nitro cold brew that I've become quite fond of. It's very strong and you can have it in several different ways. Not so good, the wait times. Once during the week and another on a weekend morning. Both times the window was backed up for 15 or so minutes. They do have a small outdoor area with a few tables, but of course that's currently not happening. Will probably come back, but just wish they can do something about the service here. read more

The attention to details and friendliness of these team is why I go back. Unfortunately, I don't go back as much as I would like. This Starbucks service is literally the slowest experience I have ever had in the history of mankind. On a good day 3-4 minutes but man... on a usual day.. it would take 15-23 minutes to even place an order but another 8-12 minutes from ordering until you receive your black iced coffee which probably melted by the time you got it (the number of minutes is so specific because I literally time them now). There used to be a fast team in the mornings about a year or so ago but now... there's only one fast employee in the mornings but the rest of them?... yeah I'll save it. Worst Starbucks ever. The drive thru is usually so incredibly SLOW and there's been many times they've screwed up. For example: not enough ice, not putting lids on correctly/over pouring so hot liquid leaks out of cup in the car, running out of cold brew, putting iced coffee in a trenta cup (when they run out of venti cups. It throws off the ratio when you're still putting in the same amount of syrup pumps and ice for the venti size) We usually just roll our eyes and get over it. It's only Starbucks, who has high expectations for an over priced coffee right? Well today was the last straw. I told my guy to order me an Iced Matcha Tea, no milk no sweetener. Apparently this is the most difficult drink to Starbucks as they had an issue understanding what he was asking for. The manager got on the speaker and argued with him that no one orders that and if he wants the matcha latte. Mind you, I ordered this same exact drink days ago from this same location with NO issue. Fed up, he agrees to have them just make it as a latte since they made him feel dumb and had no idea what to say. I have no clue what milk they used and since I'm lactose intolerant I dumped it out when he brought it to I me. It's a nice addition to this up and coming section of Route 9. The folks here are alright but, like many others have mentioned, not as efficient as we know Starbucks to be. They're a bit less likely to mess it up with their new label vs. marker on the cups. Still not as efficient as I would love. There's a bit of seating in store as well as a drive thru for those who don't want the whole Starbucks experience (and if you are, you're missing out!). I love my Starbucks and it's nice to have one here in this area but work on communication!! read more

I'm done with this Starbucks. Three times I came here during COVID and had one horrible experience after another. One time leading me to contact corporate, in which they gave me a free giftcard. I gave it one more chance today because it's a drive-thru and the only one around here. I definitely prefer to do that during the pandemic. I ask for a simple cold brew with 2 pumps of classic sweetener & light cream. Each time they give me BITTER iced coffee with the ice melted. They always get my order wrong and I always ordered the same drink! How hard is it to make a grande peppermint mocha latte with 3 pumps of mocha? Twice through the drive through and twice in person. The drive through is a mess because the wait time took forever and the drink came out wrong. They somehow forgot to put in the espresso and all I got was hot milk with mocha syrups. This was by far probably one of the worst starbucks I've walked into. Although I was greeted nicely what I observed after wasn't pleasing to the eye. This location has both a drive through and walk in. Now when I walked in there was only one customer waiting on a drink to get finished. I had ordered 3 drinks. Iced coffee sweetened, double chocolate frappuccino, and a Pink drink. I wait quite a bit because I had four employees chatting instead of working. There was one girl who was hustling while the guys were busy talking. The store is a mess and I'm watching water just dripping off the counter where all the cold drinks are being made. I had to ask for half and half because one guy had the girl remove them from the bar area where sugar and creamer usually is. Then the guy behind counter couldn't find any. This location is nice because it has easy access in and out. The building is relatively new. The reason for the 2 stats is that staff is SLOW. If you see a line at the drive-thru, just keep going because it will take you at least a half hour on line. On a recent visit there was no line at the drive thru, there was 1 car at the window so I thought it would be safe. Well upon getting tongue order screen, I was asked to wait. So it took 4 minutes before they asked for my order. After placing the order, I drove to the window and that one car was still there....not good. All said and done, it took 9 minutes from start to finish...ugh! read more

I live around the corner from this Starbucks and for a year would not go here because of the unprofessional staff they have. I drink Starbucks EVERY DAY and never have a problem with my mobile order or service I receive when I go to other Starbucks. I am livid that EVERYTIME I go to this Starbucks it's unorganized and the staff sucks!!!! It's a shame I have to travel to other towns to get my coffee when this one is in walking distance to my house. If you want your order incorrect this is the place to go! I've given them multiple chances thinking maybe it's just an off day and every time I go my order is wrong. I finally made them correct it and they acted as if I was wrong and made a big deal over my request. Only reason for 4 stars is there are always lights out in the store and today they are out of toilet paper leaving napkins for customers. Sometimes they have no soap so with the little soap left they poured water in the soap container. Concerning being that they are handling food and drinks praying staff is washing their hands in the sinks behind the counter. Come here to drink coffee and study for college. Besides the store set up, the staff is what keeps me coming back they are always super sweet & make my drinks correctly. Order from app sometimes and never have a problem. read more

I've been going here every day for almost two years, and I love the staff they're like family. Certain associates even remember what I like to drink and make it perfectly every time. I usually use the drive thru, just because I don't like to get out of the car. Compared to most Starbucks drive thrus they move along pretty well (they're custom making everyone's drinks, it is always gonna take some time and TLC) This store is always busy, no matter what time of day you visit, yet the staff is always pleasant and genuinely seem to enjoy being there. I highly recommend getting a white chocolate mocha for a hot drink, and a nitro cold brew with sweet cream foam for a cold drink, also their warmed chocolate croissants are the BEST. I highly recommend this location and the location is wonderfully convenient, being right before GSP. read more

They still don't always checked the mobile purchase printer, but the staff has improved a bit ----------- Without question, one of the most disappointing stores for Starbucks. The staff is brain dead, and I'm being generous. Do not bother using your app to pre-order. It is almost never ready. No one pays attention to the printer where orders come out. And when you walk in and wait for the drink, they make it wrong RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! Drive-thru? How about having a hot cup of coffee spill all over you as the pathetic barista squeezes the cup as she hands it to you through the window! So, if you have patience and time to kill, stop here for your coffee, otherwise, go to the GSP Parkway stop instead. read more

The morning staff here is rude for no reason. I've been here three times recently since it's a convenient location. The same drink is made different each time. I normally get a grande vanilla latte with a 4 extra shots of espresso. I $8 for that drink, I would expect the barista to get it right considering the high pay they get, paid college, etc...
