This Starbucks offers convenience with an added bonus of a drive thru (always a pleasure). To access the drive thru, it's a little bit trickier than most but it does the job just right. I can see this location being a stop for morning commuters. Service is quick, efficient and friendly. We were on our way within four minutes with our blended beverages quenching our thirst. Its a Starbucks. The PSL was on point. The line was so long for drive thru that I went inside. There was nowhere to stand with so many people waiting. Not a bad experience but I would think they would move faster with a drive thru line that is jamming the parking lot and a lobby packed full of people. read more

In Denver and was heading to a free summer concert at Levitt. Also wanted to get in my laptop for a bit to do a quick fantasy football draft. Place was empty. Every table was dirty and instead of cleaning them I was approached and told I need to buy something to stay in the store, a new SB policy. And for the 50 minutes I was here, NOBODY CLEANED the lobby. Really un-inviting!!! As a former employee I feel embarrassed and ashamed for this store. read more

This place used to be good. I work in the business plaza next door and whether I order ahead or at the register my drink is always put by the drive through window. Did not love the experience. Went through the drive through, the credit card machine was down, so the barista frustratingly stated the situation and the he had to pee for the last hour, more frustrated banter, window open and kept going. I had to let him know that I was going to handle some work on my phone while I waited. At that time, I would assume he would close the window and be frustrated behind the glass, but no, I heard every word. He did give me my coffee, which didn't have a sleeve, only two cups, which does not work well for reducing the heat radiating off the cup. He finally had to take my card to the register inside. I tried calling but the phone is consistently busy, this may be part of the issue? Not sure but the employees might need some additional training on what is and isn't proper to say in front of customers. read more

The employees prioritized everyone in the drive-through lane as evidence by me waiting in the lobby with only a handful of other people for more than 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I ordered an iced tea beverage that I was assured was sugar-free by the first employee. When I finally got it I could immediately taste how sweet it was. I asked another employee If it was sweetened and she said yes, even if you don't order syrup it is in the mix. I looked it up online and sure enough 30 g. At that point I didn't even have the patience to give them any more minutes of my Sunday. The girl was very rude and made the excuse "we were really busy." So, it's probably my fault for not calling ahead but it states that this location is open until 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. I decided to show up a couple minutes after 9 pm and go through the drive thru. I didn't get any response so I drove up to the window. There were two employees working that I could see both of which made eye contact with me. I waved and they ignored me. the second employee made eye contact with me a second time and continued about her business. I decided to knock on the window, and hesitantly the first employee came to the window and finally said we were closed. I'm rather appalled by the quality of customer service that was provided to me. This is the absolute worst coffee shop I have ever been to. I own a business in Riverpoint and so this was very convenient for me, however, my orders have been messed up on multiple occasions. All I order is coffee with heavy cream and they give my coffee to me cold when it should be hot. I had to explain to the lady working that she owed me change once. This is the second time in a row that we have experienced a condescending drive-thru server at this location who didn't know the products they offered and decided to act like it was the customers problem(same girl). I wouldn't have bothered with a post for that, but the coffee that we get at this location is very clearly not made right either. I used my app to redeem my stars for a reindeer cookie for my daughter. Something glitched with the app and I was charged, so thinking it wouldn't be a big deal, I went in to explain the situation. The person at the counter was apologetic and said he would need to ask someone for help. No problem. The person he asked was busy and asked him to get the manager. The manager came out clearly irritated that he had been interrupted but as soon as he saw me, he smiled and asked how he could help. When I explained the situation, he said there was nothing he could do and I would need to "call Starbucks" and turned to go back to his office. I asked why they couldn't just refund me the money and redo the order. After some hesitation he said they could do that, and went around the counter and asked the very busy barista to handle the situation. She kindly explained that he would need to do it as they were behind on making drinks. The manager asked someone else for the reindeer cookie and was told they were out (which was odd since I had ordered one). The manager let me know they were out, and I replied that any cookie would do as it was a surprise for my daughter. He happened to notice a cookie out on the counter where they take drive-through orders and said they had one left. He used his bare hands to scrape it from the counter into the bag, which I thought was odd. I got outside and looked in the bag at a reindeer cookie in pieces (no wonder he had to scrape it off the counter into the bag). I go to Starbucks for two reasons: I like coffee drinks, and the people are usually so warm and welcoming, especially when something goes wrong. I have never written a bad review before but after repeatedly having bad experiences I felt it was time. Do not go here. There is a Starbucks on Dartmouth and broadway and a caribou coffee around Hampden and downing that are both much better choices. This morning I went and got a breakfast sandwich (which was not heated up) and a peppermint mocha (which in no way contained and coffee, literally tasted like water with a pump of peppermint and a hint of hot chocolate). In addition the drive thru took 30 mins. In august I swore I would never come here again after I order a latte and received a hot chocolate, not realizing till it was too late. Before that I came last winter and got a grande latte and it was lukewarm and only filled halfway. Will never go back. Save your money. read more

This is the most convenient Starbucks for me to go to and I will no longer go to this location. The customer service doesn't compare to other locations. You will wait a long time for your drink to be made. I kept trying to give this place a chance, but the last time I went, my drink was made incorrectly. Rather than making a new drink, they poured off the top of my drink to get rid of the whipped cream and added more milk. If a customer makes a specification it's for a reason-whether it's dietary or preference so make sure to make their drink correctly. I am a full fledge addict of Starbucks and have been going for as many years as they have been in Colorado. They were in fact one of my Corporate accounts when I worked for a large security company. I have to say of all the locations I frequent this one has some of the nicest and most courteous staff there is. They always seem to do an outstanding job at keeping the place clean, stocked and organized. I have never had to wait an unacceptable amount of time for my order, unlike other locations (e.g. Bowles & Wadsworth where I have waited more than 10-15 minutes for an iced mocha and the staff seems more interested in socializing with each other), but back to this location. Even going through drive - thru which I am so anti drive - thru I think they should be banned, I make exception here. Fast, friendly and never been disappointed yet. Plus it's nice they recognize me when I pull through in my bright yellow MINI. This should be the standard by which all SB's operate. And I love those damn chocolate croissants. read more

So, on my way to work I always stop at Starbucks for my normal drink. This one is on my way so I've stopped at I a couple of times and more than once they've forgotten to add Carmel or breve to my drink. But today this was a different story. I waited 15 minutes in the drive through line for one coffee and when I got it, it was just plain coffee. My drink order is always a Grande Carmel Macchiato with Breve and Extra Carmel. It's not very hard to get right so I went back, I spoke to the manager on the phone she seemed a little pushy and told me she'd make me a new one if I came back. When I got there I had the drink in hand and told her who I was she grabbed the drink, poured it out showed me the bottom of the cup and said, "so you said there was no Carmel syrup in this, there clearly is." And before I could say it was breve that they had forgotten she just said she'd have them make another. Well you'd think they'd look on the drink label to see what my actual drink was but no she didn't, so yet again my drink was made wrong and without breve. I'd rather drive completely out of my way to the one on Quincy than to go back to this one. I felt embarrassed in front of a whole line of customers and to make it worse it was by the manager. I work in customer service and if the customer says its wrong then just fix it don't try to prove them wrong, even if I am only and 18 year old girl. If I'm spending $6.00 on a drink you need to get it right. I've been to Starbucks plenty of times to know this isn't how they handle customers when their drinks are wrong. read more

This location sucks! From start to finish. Nobody was inline in front of me, I got up to the speaker box and the lady told me she would be right with me.. I sat there for at least a whole 3 minutes until I even ordered. I finally ordered a Chi tea latte, sat there for longer, finally got it back, tasted like Water!!! So I called and complained to the manager and he did absolutely nothing for me! I wasn't going to go back just to fix a chi tea but no way did he have any way to email me or fix my order.
