A friend of mine and I selected this spot to meet and the visit went very well. With drinks from Starbucks and a good place to sit, we were able to spend some time together. My Mocha Latte was nice and chocolaty with whipped cream on top and because we were staying inside, I got it in a large mug. Even though it was noisy inside with all the activity going on, we could still easily talk. This Starbucks has seating both inside and out and a very active drive-thru. read more

But I'll never do that again very disappointing read more

I'm leaving this review only because I've seen how many negative reviews exist and I just haven't had that kind of experience here. Is it really busy? Sure! Where in Sarasota isn't nuts anymore, especially during season?! Also, it's a small place. However, if you want your drink made very well nearly every single time, this location is the place for you. I once had my drink made at a different Starbucks on my way to work and it was so bad. I came to this location, told them about it, and they were incredibly gracious and made me a new drink that was made to perfection. Again, I just haven't had the negative experience a lot of others are saying they had. Not saying they are wrong, but I am saying my experience has been fantastic here! read more

Very friendly staff and the drive thru is super fast, always enjoy coming to this location

I placed an online order and I'm STILL WAITING for my drinks. It's almost been 30 mins and I still don't have my drinks. I have my sandwich, but that's it. I'm pissed. I need to be somewhere and I ordered ahead so I wouldnt wait. It should say online it will take 30 mins. Just update it online, so that I can show up and not wait at the location! Update: after I left and took a sip of my drink? It was WRONG. I had to turn around to get it corrected. * So it took me about an HOUR after everything was said and done.* read more

Starbucks - My online order at 10:40, it's 11:05 & my order still isn't done. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

by far the kindest most helpful Starbucks experience I've ever had. Clean, calm extremely welcoming . A lot of locals seem to come back here regularly and are welcomed by name. read more

Worst Starbucks ever left. Online ordered 8:15, supposedly ready by 8:29. Still sitting here at 8:40. The most unorganized store in Sarasota hands down. read more

Food was good, service was super slow. 8 ppl behind the counter and we waited 15min. For two sandwiches and coffees. As I stood there, there were 4 ppl in line and 5ppl waiting. Saturday 11:19am. This is a Starbucks and they had a broken Nitro machine. And the person behind the counter made the comment that it's been down for a while, then giggled. Food and drinks came out and was sat on a table by the window. We waited at least 5 extra mins before decided to just look at the table. Turns out our stuff was there. read more

Between three/four stars here, simply because the wait has gotten to be nearly outrageous. Even with my mobile orders, by the time I arrive to pick up, I've had to wait another 10-15 minutes. :/ I give it four stars because the folks working actually acknowledge the wait and seem to feel really badly about it. I'm guess they're short-staffed, though there seem to be several folks working. Other Starbucks have snooty staff that barely address your presence as customers, HA! So this one gets some positivity from me in the level of friendliness, despite the crazy wait times. I'll be waiting a while before I order here again. Hopefully they can figure out better systems. read more

I frequent this Starbucks. Busy spot. Energetic staff. Always have my drink right. A+ attitude.

Ordered online before coming in. Paid online as well. Came in to pick up order, Several drinks were on the counter; none of them mine (I ordered hot chocolate for my daughter and latte for myself). Girl behind counter asks if I had online order. I say yes and tell her what I ordered. She then makes the hot chocolate and I'm still waiting On my latte. I am up having to wait another 20 minutes and five other customers orders before I finally get mine. They're not very attentive nor focused here apparently. The reason I use the app is for convenience and this was definitely not convenient and took a lot longer. Not happy at all with this visit. read more

This Starbucks is close to my work so I have given it more than enough chances. It's the slowest drive thru I've ever been to in my life. Not just Starbucks, any business with a drive thru. That includes pharmacies and Popeyes. My latest and last attempt I waited over 30 minutes while I was 4th in line. Reviews about long waits go back years and it is not addressed. Don't try it...when you're in line, you're stuck and can't get out. Just start calling your family and work, you're going to be late. Yes I have been here before, during, and after COVID. read more

Great location right off the highway. Quick drive thru with friendly customer service. Very pleasant experience.

Probably the slowest Starbucks I've ever experienced. Particularly the drive through. The baristas never seem too rushed despite the long line, they chit chat with each other, as you drive up to the window after 10 minutes they will ignore you while they take another order before asking what your order is. Even if you put an order in via the app, they will start it when you drive up, even if you just ordered a venti regular coffee black it will take minutes. Judging from the low rating on here, I'm guessing they aren't interested in improving their service. I've waited 17 minutes so far. Turning around isn't an option in the drive-up. There are still two cars ahead of me so probably a 20+ minute wait. Later Another 20 mins for 3 cars! read more

I've been to this location multiple times while visiting family in the area. I find that service at Starbucks is usually a little slower, but this one takes the cake. They definitely take their sweet time. I have only gone through the drive through here, and the employees are always friendly. I like this location, but they need to be able to work a little faster. read more

Starbucks - Lots of outdoor seating! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

I really want to commend the staff; as soon as you walk in they greet you and they seem sincere in their welcoming. The drink had to be remade because they had not added the extra foam as I ordered, but they gladly did it without any problem. The ladies restroom needs cleaning as the toilet itself was dirty on the inside and on the seat, itself and also the toilet paper was not coming out properly as there's something wrong with the mechanism. Other than that it was a good experience. read more

HUGE STARBUCKS LOVER- Thank you for being like a second home for me when I'm far far from home.

We had an issue with our order, and not only did they make it right, they gave us 2 free drink cards for our next visit. Really appreciate the friendliness of the person on the phone helping out- sometimes people are so annoyed to help with a problem. Thanks Starbucks! :) read more

Placed a mobile order on a Saturday morning. Showed up and the drinks were ready in a reasonable time. I waited about 5 min and asked if they had the food items in queue or behind the counter. They didn't. They we're "running a bit behind." No problem. I waited another 20 min and still nothing, not even an acknowledgement. The guy who appeared to be the manger just kept telling the girl working the food station (in a condescending way that was loud enough for us all to hear) that she needed to get it out faster. He did this several times, which led me to wonder why he just didn't move her to another station and get the food caught up himself. After 30 minutes and no update, I had to leave. Aesthetically, the long table nearest the counter had half opened boxes of merch. The sales wall was mostly empty, indicating they were working on it and stopped mid job; ergo the boxes. It was pretty symbolic of the entire store however ... disorganized and out of position. Starbucks regional management needs to get this location fresh training or a fresh team. As a brand, this store failed miserably on appearance, delivery, and customer service. read more

Worst Starbucks I have ever been to before and after COVID...every other local Starbucks is run exceptionally well this one, however is horrible. About 7 years ago when they first opened they were incredible but now, they are incredibly disappointing and staff is incredibly rude. read more

I dont know what happened but this starbucks is going down the hill. New hires shouldnt be put in drive thru causing delays. It seems the cashier doesnt know what to Do When you give a cash and a card at the window. I wanted to pay whatever cash i gave him and the rest on the card. I told him this as i pulled in the window after he told me my total. I gave him my money while he was still talking on his ear, hes punching in the computer thinking hes putting the cash then he put in my card, ended the transaction then he looked at the cash and looked at me and ask what this for? A tip? I said thats to pay my tab! I got so annoyed because its a basic job being a cashier. And clearly i dont have enough time for them to fix it due to being on the drive thru 10+minutes. Starbucks on clark gave me a different feeling. The drive thru was long but apologized to me due to training and gave me a free drinks card on next purchase! I Tried going inside last time on cattleman due to bad experience, this young women making the frappes and mine is melting down because she wanted to wait till she put all the whipp cream in each frappe. I was drinking watered frap! Better off Fruitville or beneva/beeridge! They make your drinks whatever the order it was recieved! This place is for you if you can wait 15+ at thru read more

Poor customer service inside store. They give priority to drive thru regardless of how many staff are working. Starbucks has really turned into the McDonald's of the coffee world. Would be nice if they valued quality as much as they worship volume. read more

Loved how quick my mobile order was ready! I was in and out in seconds! Just moved in nearby, and I'm glad I have a great Starbucks nearby!

So I will not come to this location again.. had the Tie Died Frappuccino sign out and they don't make it.. then they told us sorry we ran out of whipped cream for the 3 Frappuccinos we ordered. We asked to cancel the order at this point. And we had to wait 2 mins before they told us about the whipped cream. As we were handed the credit card back for the refund, they found 1 can a whipped cream. They handed us our drinks. This is not the first time I have had problems at this Starbucks and this will be my last time going to this location.. read more

Good location to escape the home office and the drinks are well made, but if you are going to try and do a little work, read a book, or even decompress over a chai latte, this is not the place for you. Even with earbuds in and the music amp'd up, the staff is way too loud! They are not cognizant that their voices carry and there is no sound proofing. Think inside voices people... please. Service was good... won't complain about that... read more

Agree this is the slowest Starbucks in town, the personal is always friendly but they like to take their time. This is my 4th time in here, since I live nearby. 3 out of 4 time the waiting in the drive through is been 12 min 10 min and 6 min we getting better. The only time i went well. I was the only vehicle in the drive through. read more

Absolute worst Starbucks I've gone to. The line takes a good 30 minutes everytime I've been. I ordered my coffee ahead of time and the door was locked and I couldn't get in, the point of ordering ahead is to pick it up not to wait 30 minutes in the drive-through. I ended up leaving and didn't get my drinks. Never will be going there again. read more

Kayla and Daniel, you made our Starbucks morning run the best one We've ever had! Great customer service and all done with a huge smile on your faces! I have been through many Starbucks and other drive thru's but this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Daniel started off by asking me how my day was and complementing my drink choose and Kayla was all smiles while she was servicing us our drinks. Made this rainy day so much better! read more

This is the slowest, most inefficient location. And this evaluation is not after one visit. Every single time.

MOST of the time, I'm going thru a Starbucks on my way from some place. 90% of the time, I place a mobile order. Did this time. Went on to co select it, and the cup was empty. A few minutes for anyone to notice me and I was asked if I could help and I said I have an empty cup. I was told there are out of decaf. Not the end of the day it is 3 in the afternoon. I said okay make it with regular. I got the drink back went to the bar to fix it to my liking, only non fat milk. Let it, and the cop was empty. I've been going to Starbucks for many years as most people have. I Purchased coffee from many different locations. This particular location sticks out as an extremely poor performer. I have had more cups of coffee made incorrectly at this location than any other. Today I ordered my usual iced white mocha And they must have run out of milk because it Was very watered down and A lot more liquidy than usual. Not to mention a drastic difference in taste. There are only three ingredients in my white mocha concoction. So I don't understand why it is so difficult on a consistent basis to get it right. read more

The staff is polite and always helpful. One think you wont find here is bad service (I suppose the coffee addiction has its up side). For the record I am giving them 3 stars based on service and the storefront. They have maybe 15 seats with their own outlet at each one? Any other Starbucks you go to try and work at there is one seat and you can eyeball it right away and know if you will bother taking 4 more steps in or not. The coffee is still brutal and espresso easily drowned out and rightfully so with the sweetness of their drinks. That being said work here but try not to taste your coffee! read more

5851 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota Fl Worst experience ever at a Starbucks. The lady that took our order 1. Didn't even ask for our name even when we offered to give it to her. 2. She was complaining the whole time clearly not wanting to be there. 3. Both our coffees came out wrong (didn't even notice till we got into the car and drove away) 4. We paid for a breakfast Sandwich and never got it. Come to find out they didn't even have the stuff to make it. So we just left. Definitely a 0 Star in my book for that store. Disappointed. read more
