My selection was their Sandy Beach, another popular choice that seemed appropriately named for being on Siesta Key. These doughnuts are different, described as their Famous Layered Doughnuts, they are similar to a croissant in construction, very sweet like a frosted doughnut. Wonderful texture, super indulgent for me, and went great with a cup of their coffee. The Sandy Beach, described as like a cinnamon roll, did have a hint of cinnamon. But what I really noticed, besides the doughnut itself bring great, was the gooey white frosting on top and seemingly all over. The French Toast was similar, with a maple flavored frosting. Parlor is a small place, mainly a takeout spot, no seating inside but they do have a couple of small tables outside.
