The reason I gave 3 stars was because the tea was very sweet. I was not asked if I wanted to adjust the sweetness level, so I would not have known to make it less sweet. If you have a craving for delicious boba tea, you've found your spot! This small family owned spot…read moreis a gift to the Parrish community. Also, it's themed after Avatar the Last Airbender if you're a nerd like me! :p Brief Summary: The Jasmine Dragon is a small family owned boba tea shop that features recipes hand crafted by the owners and their children. The drinks are delicious and everyone is as kind as can possibly be! Would I Recommend This Restaurant? Absolutely! The Food: I've had a few different boba teas here so far. The double coffee delight special, the traditional brown sugar milk tea, and the lychee tea. All three were truly exceptional! And I don't usually like coffee boba teas at all! So that's saying something! The lychee is super delicious and the lychee jelly is to die for. Especially on a hot summer day. The traditional brown sugar boba tea was delicious as well. It's my usual go to, and I thought the milk in it really shined through. It was a good balance of milk and tea. I like my boba on the sweeter side, so I get extra brown sugar in it. But if you like it a little less sweet, just get it plain and you'll be very happy with it! Overall, I have yet to try something I did not enjoy! Value: I found the pricing to be pretty much on point with what you'd expect from a boba tea shop. I had no problem paying the amount I did for what I got. So good value overall. Service and Staff: The staff here are very friendly. They just opened, so they're still training some of the staff, but they all treat each other with respect, and they all seem to genuinely enjoy being there. That's energy you can genuinely feel. The difference between someone who is there because they love what they do and are passionate and someone who's just there for a paycheck and nothing more. Overall, the staff and service were wonderful! Location and Interior: The location is in a newly developed are. Very safe and well developed. The interior is plain at the moment, but it was explained to me that it's their blank canvas. They will eventually decorate it in an a theme that honors Avatar the Last Airbender, which I LOVE! I can't wait to see what they do with their black canvas! Final Thoughts: A wonderful little family owned boba tea shop that I'm more than happy to support. Great people, great drinks, and plenty of smiles! What more could you ask for? Thanks for the great service, and I'll see y'all again very soon! P.S. Please help support local businesses like this one! Final Scores: Food - 10/10 Value - 5/5 Service/Staff - 5/5 Location/Interior 5/5 Total 25/25 = 5/5 Stars Stay fresh Mother Fooders! :p

Please pass this along: I strongly urge you to think twice before purchasing coffee from this…read morecompany, especially the Lakewood Ranch location owned by Shannon and Logan Gregory. On July 24th, I purchased a large hot coffee from this location and suffered severe burns to my left hand from the coffee and the cup. I am a 3rd- and 4th-degree burn victim, so I take this situation extremely seriously. What has been most upsetting, beyond the physical pain and recovery, is the complete lack of compassion and concern I have experienced. There was no apology, no offer to help with medical expenses or the time I have had to take off, and no meaningful attempt to see how I was doing. I called Shannon Gregory, the owner, several times and received no response. Eventually, corporate contacted me, but I was disappointed by the lack of genuine concern there as well. Weeks later, I finally received a call from Logan Gregory. His response was essentially, "Yeah, what do you need? I was told by corporate to call you." There was no apology, no acknowledgment of what I had been through, and no sincere effort to ask what they could do to help as the franchise owners. Nothing. I am sharing my experience because I don't want anyone else to go through what I have experienced. A serious burn can affect your health, your ability to work, your daily life, and your finances. I believe that when something this serious happens, the least a customer should receive is compassion, accountability, and genuine concern. Please share this and consider my experience before patronizing this company or this location.
