This shopping being so close to the cruise terminal where everyone who is missing their favorite Starbucks coffee, has to make a stop here. It seems on the day I stopped in, there were so many people that the line went almost out the back door. I have to say that the service was very friendly and they worked as fast as they could. Being near the holiday's Starbucks did a good job of having holiday themed treats as well as their usual fare. Prices were comparable to the mainland US locations. read more

I was really happy to see everything is still the same and the store is nice and well kept up. Staff was friendly and helpful. So, maybe corporate read these previous reviews? I thought this was a gorgeous Starbucks I could have easily spent the entire day in. The cafe has tons of seating areas, lots of chairs and tables to work from, WiFi, restrooms. Yes, there was a queue from time to time, but it moved quickly and we got our drinks promptly. I was shocked Trenta isn't available at first, but I get it. That honestly was the only negative. There are lots of other cute coffee shops to pop into as well, but if you want a nice cool drink, ac and a restroom break before heading back to port this is the spot! read more

Please expect a long line to order and a long queue for bathroom. All the employees are extremely nice but it's a very busy place. It's honestly a non stop queue. Food is good, ambiance is nice but if you're in a rush.... read more

This is the first Starbucks in PR. It's your typical Starbucks, but we came here for a quick breakfast since no other place in the area was opened yet. I also decided to try the Guavete Sandwich ($6.50), which is basically a pork and cheese roll. I liked that they cut it in half for us already, so perfect to split. Came here on 3 occasions. The coffee and food were great, but the staff were very rude. We were trying to be Nice and courteous. But nothing seemed to work. When we asked for a carrying tray and a bag, they got even more upset. read more

This Starbucks is well located and huge. Upon entering you can see how clean and organized they are. The main room keeps winding back to expose awesome cozy chairs and workspaces. The staff are very kind and efficient. They made my light ice iced coffee perfectly and the wait was short. The bathrooms are clean and available to customers. read more

Easy Starbucks to find. Came in just to see if there would be anything different. Not really. Just the march said Puerto Rico. I entered and the menu is the same. The merch is to the right and the restrooms were at the far end of the shop. For the previous reviews with sitting area with the Panama hats on the wall. Where was that? It looked like just a wall and restroom in the back. So I have to say for my experience those pics are for another Starbucks location not this one unless there's another hallway entrance from the restroom to get to that room. Good location. Most of your favorite things with a couple interesting local items. The loss of stars is service. Long lines, no mobile pre order, and language barriers (very little English here) list some stars. I like Zombie coffee 2 doors down for a better Americano with good pricing and service (100% Puerto Rico coffee used). But if you need a frappe or refresher- they'll take care if it. I recommend the local favorite Cordito. read more

Worse Starbucks ever!!!! The laziest barista can be found at this Starbucks. The barista didn't want to be bothered, gave me a dirty look and was EXTREMELY RUDE!! I pointed out that I have been waiting for my breakfast sandwiches for a long time after seeing all my friends who were behind me get their sandwiches. They ordered the same sandwiches as me and were already done eating them. The barista said she already informed the other barista of the sandwich situation and it was being made. I followed up every 5 minutes. Umm... I watched her the entire time. Not once did she tell anyone anything but continue to lie to me. Very arrogant attitude!! Another male barista 20 minutes later said he didn't know and he would make them for me right now. What a joke! I spent over 30 Minutes in this Starbucks waiting and waiting until someone decided to acknowledge me. read more

Located a block up from the Sheraton it's in a perfect spot to get my morning iced coffee fix to help recover from the previous night's partying. Larger than it looks from the outside so head to the back for plenty of seating. Free wifi and outlets too. Easy to pay with the Starbucks app here. Clean bathroom. Weekday mornings are not too crowed but on weekends when cruise ships pull into the harbor it seems passengers flock to this location as if they had been stranded on Gilligan's Island for years and never had any coffee. read more

This Starbucks location on Calle de Tetuan in San Juan is a convenient and well managed Starbucks in the middle of everything. They are are reliable option for coffee and much more. The staff here is very friendly and efficient getting everything together when you need it. read more

Restroom is a death trap there are no handles to get out and the instructions are to twist the Handel after you ring a door beep.

My wife and I came here for breakfast, as we needed to get something to eat before 7am and a lot of the breakfast spots here don't open until 7am or 8, Starbucks however opens at 6am, so it was perfect. The menu is more or less the same as any other location, however one of the pastries they have here that is different is the quesito. Which is a pastry with Nutella filling. We definitely recommend trying the quesito here! read more

Right off the top- let me start by saying that the staff here is absolutely FANTASTIC butThe system to use my Starbucks rewards and to just use my Starbucks card is down. AGAIN. Very,very frustrating. It seems to ALWAYS be down. With all of the GREAT cafes/coffee spots in Old San Juan -why should I continue to be frustrated by this Starbucks' location's inability to fix and maintain their card paying system? At the Starbucks in Old Town San Juan, I ordered cold Cafe Late, no ice, and got a glass half full. I've ordered this at dozens of Starbucks' locations throughout the USA, and this has never happened; I always get a full glass. I brought this to the attention of the cashier, giving them a chance to make it right, and they chose not to. Hence the one star review. read more
