Decent prices and great service. The crunchwrap is THE item. Don't skip it, The shishito peppers were delicious. Local beer was alright haha.

We had an amazing lunch here. All four loved our food. Great beer list and creative beer cocktails. Good music. Very friendly and helpful staff. All around 100 vibes. We had falafel sliders (pictured), big burger, fish tacos, greek salad. And you must get their special hoppie sauce.

We stumbled upon this bar/restaurant while exploring Old San Juan, and I'm glad we did! The burger and fries were an awesome lunch choice, and the price was reasonable. The service was also exceptional.

We stopped here in our way through Old San Juan. The open air seating was inviting and cheery. They had very interesting craft cocktails on the menu that I wish I had tried... next time! Super friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious. You can tell the ingredients were fresh. The salsa and flavor of the chicken in the Crunchwrap... The margaritas were exactly what we needed; refreshing!

Absolutely love this place. Perfect brewery and very creative atmosphere. The brew is delicious. We each had a couple of rounds. It was relaxing and comfortable. The prices are fair I will check this place out again. Restrooms are clean. Plus service was friendly and consistent.

We came by here for a drink before dinner. It's a local, dive bar with a large selection of beer on tap. There's plenty of local options to choose from where you can get a flight to try multiple. I ordered the La Patria Colada ($9.99) and got the Queso Frito ($7.99) to snack on. Their take on the pina colada was delicious --creamy, yet refreshing. We also really loved the queso frito, which are little fried cubes of cheese paired with guava sauce. It's my first time having this dish and it's such a great combo!

I had a great experience here. The staff was super nice. I asked for two rum cocktails of their choice and both times the cocktails were fire. Usually I don't expect much from bar food, but all the food was great. Queso Frito was my favorite. My spouse got fried chicken sandwich and it was great. They also had homemade fries which were also great. For non-alcoholic drinks, my spouse got a lemonade and it was also yummy.

Wanted to find some good craft beers for hophead DH and this place didn't disappoint. With over 30 different beers on tap along with various options for beer cocktails ... there's something for everyone. Super friendly and helpful bartenders with a nice atmosphere to just sit at the bar ... what could be better!

Sick little spot in Viejo San Juan! When we went, we ordered different beer flights because they had a plethora of choices for different kinds of beers to choose from. I didn't end up getting a flight (I got the Patria Light, which was pretty good for me as a person who doesn't drink beer like that) but my friend, a true beer connoisseur, indulged in a flight and was able to try different beers. Overall, cool spot to get your beer fix in and try the many different kinds they have to offer. They also sell food here (just bar food, nothing crazy) if you need to snack on something as you sip away! Tip--Bathrooms are in the back outside as single stalls

After spending the night out in old San Juan we decided to make this our last stop, grab one more drink and snack for the road. To my surprise they had a huge selection of whiskey and bourbon (for the island)! In an area known for rum, you might not realize how rare this is - even more shocking was finding an allocated bottle of bourbon. Our bartender gave us a very generous pour since the bottle was done after that. She and everyone else working behind the bar were very nice. I ordered fries to go and although they weren't anything special and took a while, they hit the spot and were just what we needed for the Uber ride home. I would pop in again to see what bourbon they have in the future. Nice little spot!

I started with a hot latte. It was delicious. Creamy milk and nice coffee flavor. For breakfast, I chose the traditional French toast which came with fruit and a huge dollop of whipped cream and maple syrup on the side. I scooted the whipped cream to the side but enjoyed the cinnamon flavored egg bread with fresh fruit. We asked our server about interesting places to visit while we walked around San Juan. She was fabulous. Really went over and above to give us walking ideas, get our food to us, and make our visit feel so welcoming. We loved this place.

We couldn't choose amongst all the empty tables, because staff were rude and dismissive. AC wasn't working, so we felt the humidity and heat. Ceiling fans weren't cutting it. We got the $25 wagyu burger and $20 Mallorca chicken sandwich, both of which were dry, bland, and underwhelming at best. The burger patty lacked flavor and there was no sauce or any accompaniments besides a very sad, wilted, thin slice of tomato and lettuce leaf. Pretty bad burger! The chicken sandwich was so heavily fried, we almost broke our teeth against the chicken. Insanely salty--we couldn't take more than a few bites. Felt so parched for the rest of the day. Fries were the best part of the meal--so salty and thin.

AMBIANCE Parking: Old San Juan rules--come early or be ready to walk. Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

The hostess refused to kick them out. I overheard the group behind us who had made a reservation also be denied. After finally being seated, it took over an hour to get our food. The poulet was very good, but the bread we ordered was smeared with a red sauce where it been cut with an obviously dirty knife. At the end of the night, they gave us a free piece of cake on the house, which is the only reason why this review isn't one star. Also, our waitress was really nice and friendly, which raised the mood of the evening considerably. Other than that, though, I'm afraid I can't recommend this restaurant.

St. Germain Bistro Bar happened to be right across from our Airbnb, and honestly it felt like we got lucky. Even though it was late, they seated us right away and helped us pull together two small tables so our family could sit comfortably. My kids were starving, so that alone was a huge relief. The portions for the kids' pasta and chicken nuggets were a little smaller than expected, but the flavor and quality were excellent. You could tell the food was made with care. I ordered the onion soup and the fried cheese with guava dip and wow. Absolutely delicious. The guava dip especially was incredible. I also had a mojito that was perfectly made. But what really made the night unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. My son had forgotten his inhaler and was having a hard time adjusting to the humidity. He was coughing a lot and clearly uncomfortable. Vianca noticed right away and went out of her way to help. She brought over honey and encouraged him to take a little shot with ginger and honey, then brought hot tea as well. She even suggested things like putting socks on him and using Vicks when we got back. When I mentioned that my kids are half Puerto Rican and their abuela already swears by those remedies, she just lit up and said, "Well you're home then, you already know what to do." That moment really stuck with me. The warmth, the care for kids, the genuine hospitality. It's exactly the kind of Puerto Rican kindness people talk about. The kitchen is small, so service can be a little slower, but it's absolutely worth the wait. The food is great, the drinks are great, and the people make the place special. If you're nearby, definitely stop in. Places like this are why people fall in love with Puerto Rico.
