    Cold brew based cocktail

Antiguo 26 is the highest rated cocktail lounge in old town. We decided to give them a try based on the rating. A classic speakeasy vibe with a Puerto Rican style. Each cocktail handcrafted and made, especially for you. You could tell the bartenders took a lot of pride in their work. The food list is short and more of a tapas for something to enjoy while you're drinking... The "Masa" was unbelievable, we had ours with chicken and would pay for a plate to have an entrée. Although we're committed to trying different restaurants and bars, each of the nights were here I'm tempted to go back just to have this dish. Disclosure - remember you're on vacation and no one should be in a hurry and they're not.

This place was amazing had a great ambience, lighting, music, great drinks and good food. The service was exceptionally slow though. The waiters were sitting around chatting when we had asked them things or the check. That got frustrating but overall, still a positive experience

Loved this place. It is truly a hidden gem, but one you should look for. The drinks and mocktails are expertly made with an attention to detail. The bartenders are really great. Their menu although small, is really good. We really enjoyed the appetizers as we grabbed a few drinks. We had the Bacalaoitos and the crostini de longaniza. Both apps were absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back.

This bar has the best drinks in all old san juan. The bartender juan was amazing at recommending us drinks and making them for us. He also gave us recommendations on places to go. The ingredients were fresh and high quality and you could taste it with every sip. They had live music up until 11:30 or so from a local guitar player. I loved this place and Juan made the experience 100 times better for us. My husband and I will definitely be back.

Lovely facade of Antiguo 26 - formerly a soda factory.

Nicely composed cocktails, imaginative presentations, knowledgeable, mixologists, all combine to make a delightful experience. And the food is very good as well!

I don't remember but it was delicious.

Brandon made us the best cocktails of our lives, served with warmth, joy, outstanding skill and friendly conversation. The atmosphere was relaxing and carefully designed. This place is second to none. Highly, highly recommended.

Amazing experience at Antiguo 26. What appeared like a really cool historic building from the outside, was all that and more on the inside ! The spot was warm, rustic, with an amazing cocktail menu. We had a chat with the super knowledgeable bartenders and selected two amazing cocktails. These were no ordinary cocktails. They were both well thought out and required complex processes to reach the level of flavor and balance found in both. Overall a wonderful experience, creative amazing drinks, great service, and a beautiful location that doesn't get the hype it deserves ! Can't wait to go back !

Oh wow. The experience of this place was excellent! The Great: watching the mixologist make cocktails & the cocktails! The Good: The food was really good! The Bad: na The Ugly: na

Sooo amazing! Service was a little on slower side but food and drinks were so worth the wait. Cool place for a late appetizers, dinner, and drinks!

The cocktails are so different, in a good unique way. Bartenders are supper friendly and we got tuna tar tar and it was amazing. 100% recommend and it's not loud but music is great. Ambience is awesome, does not seem as touristy as other places down the street

We were spending the night in old San Juan and looking for a yummy place to eat and found this place with great reviews on yelp. We walked over and the place was very nice, with live music playing, and some people at the bar, but nobody at any of the seating tables, and a second room in the back with a very large table perfect for our party of nine. The server came quickly and the drinks were amazing, but Very pricey, especially the food. It turns out they only had appetizers to eat, and of the six or seven options they were out of the majority of them, when we asked for just the fries from the sliders appetizer since they were out of sliders, they refused. When the first appetizer came out, which was a sliver of sausage on top of a tiny Crostini with a splash of mustard, we realized we were better off making these ourselves for $30 each. We tried to cancel the other appetizers, but the server refused to let us. They came out and were equally bad. The chicken skewers tasted like they came out of a microwave and were slathered in barbecue sauce. The server never came back to ask us if we even liked the food and we're not very accommodating at all even after we showed disappointment in everything. Would not go back unless maybe just for drinks

Thank you Yelp! We saw the reviews and said ok, this is where we are going! Watching drinks being made was very entertaining. The drinks we tried were strong and tasted smooth. These guys have truly mastered their art! The food was very good. Dinners are more like large apps, just for info. We tried the chicken skewers, steak, and sliders. We weren't hungry when we left! Service was amazing. Highly recommend.

This is primarily a bar with excellent drinks but the food was also on point!

Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: Welcome to Old San Juan, a mix of touristy and culture. The spot itself is popular for locals and tourists. As for the space itself, what's unique about this spot is this place isn't just one bar. It's actually a series of connected rooms (about 6-7 different spaces), each with its own vibe - speak easy, dance, casual, house, live music and more! I'm surprised each room can contain it's sounds while maintaining its own energy. It feels like a speakeasy maze meets nightlife experience. Dim lighting, vintage touches, and just enough chaos in a good way. DRINKS/EXPERIENCE It was such a fun night, not sure what I ordered but there is an abundance of flavors as every room has different selections. But popular drinks if you're looking for guidance - lavendar mule, espresso martini, a classic mojito. They got the classic to your well-crafted cocktails. Some spots provide food while others is sip and chill or sip and dance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fast-paced but solid. Staff keeps up with the crowd and still manages to be engaging. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! Good choices, reasonable prices, and a vibe like no other. As a gemini that can be quite indecisive, I enjoyed this spot - especially with its multiple options. This is more than a bar - it's an experience. A spot where the night can go longer than expected. TIPS: * Walk through ALL the rooms--you'll miss half the experience if you don't

We were thrilled when we finally walked through the door again after wracking our brains to remember our favorite spot in Old Town. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young woman who, mentioned it was her very first day as an assistant to the bartender. Despite being brand new, she was warm, engaged, and genuinely welcoming, excited for us that we had made it back after several years, and impressed with our efforts. Shortly thereafter the bartender on duty approached us mid-conversation, visibly irritated. When I mentioned that we hadn't yet decided on drinks but were being well taken care of in the meantime, she interrupted sharply to bark at us that she was the bartender and the ONLY one who could help us. The tone was unwelcoming enough that after a moment, my companion and I determined that we would prefer to move on and left without ordering. The atmosphere is truly special, and it deserves to be matched by the experience guests receive at the bar. Our experience was simply not the vibe that night, and I truly was disappointed FOR the new hire who was doing what she should in engaging us until we could be served. I sincerely hope to return on a future visit to San Juan and to rediscover the experience that first brought me back to La Grieta.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately, they fell short in every possible category. The layout is a major issue. We paid the $10 per person fee for the piano room, only to be squeezed in elbow-to-elbow with strangers. The tables are so tiny I literally had to eat out of my lap to avoid spilling food on my clothes. Even the basic facilities were a struggle; the women's bathroom was so cramped and unaccommodating that I could barely even sit down. When we asked to move to a more comfortable space, the hostess and waitress refused, citing nearby reservations. The kitchen and service were equally disappointing. After waiting over an hour for our entrees, the food arrived mediocre and tasteless. The steak had zero seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were dry and flavorless--essentially just a boiled potato thrown on a plate. The service was the final straw. When I tried to flag down a server to send the potatoes back, he told me he would "get her." When our waitress finally arrived, I explained the issue and she simply replied, "I know." No apology, no offer to bring something else, and no effort to make it right. To be met with that level of rudeness on my birthday was shocking.
