SJ's BEST STARBUCKS! I've frequented this Starbucks in the past back when I was going to school at MSJC and I LOVE this location. The staff is always super sweet, both drive-thru and inside staff! I love that ALL team members greet each customer as you walk through the door, it's refreshing! Also, the coffee crew is very friendly and patient as you order. I never get a frown or weird vibes from the staff. The Starbucks is all-inclusive and a favorite for college students! I've seen many people come in here in the morning with their textbooks and laptops, it's a comfy space. I love that there's also outlets near the seats in case you need to plug in a device for online work, it's very helpful. The shop is very clean and orders are whipped up in a breeze. read more

I am a coffee lover and have zero issues with staff or the products. What I'm tired if is making mobile orders only to arrive and the lobby is locked. So I, in route to work the night shift on a Sunday, have to wait behind 6 vehicles to pick ip a 6 Oz Cortado which is now cold! The website should indicate during these times that it is drive thru only. Or put up a giant sign at the door, mobile pick up only with a table set-up as such. So today 12/19/25 at exactly 11:55 a.m. I make a quick stop to purchase a $10 gift card so kid can gift friend before winter break. I'm positive I gave the cashier a $20 bill, largest in possession. Given the card/receipt but waited for $10 change. He asked what else I needed and told him I gave him a $20 bill. Maybe he lost focus and stated I gave him a $10 bill. No, still don't think so. What customer service?!?! Walked in Happily ready to order my Lavender Matcha and was greeted by backs to me. No worries. Was told just a minute, ok. I ordered my Matcha's and the guy who helped me was like a robot! No skills in customer acknowledgement as another being. Very rushed in talking w/o eye contact. And I most importantly forgot to order my pup cup! Thats is usually a fast fix. I waited again... a female finally took my "order?" Nothing. Until a whip cream bottle was pounded on the counter. It startled me and I'm upset about it. You just never know what someone is going through. And something like so is starling for me. Hope he is well mentally, as well. Absolutely horrible service I was at their door at 8:57pm and the doors were already locked. The employees acted like they didn't see me at the door. I called explain to them that I was there before nine. Told him I have a trailer. I have a 5 Hour Dr. if I can do a mobile order and walk to the drive-through and they said no looked at me and started laughing. I will be reporting this to corporate. I am a regular customer to this Starbucks for over 4 years, I go at least twice a day. I do not like to leave bad reviews but it's getting worse and management does not care. Beside showing on Starbucks app as only Drive through and have not updated it yet, it's like they don't want customer to sit inside. Also for almost a month, their wifi internet is not working. This is the 3rd time I come to this Starbucks and it's closed. I understand there's a huge staff shortage everywhere. But at least post the correct hours on on Google and yelp. It would really help customers. I double checked the open time at 12 prior to coming here and said it was open till 11pm. It's a long drive from the 951 to the 626, and after leaving the in-laws in San Jacinto, I generally need a little caffeine to maintain my awareness on Gilman Springs Rd. In a land of no left turns (Hemeteers, you know what I'm talking about), finding a Starbucks with a relatively close stoplight-controlled exit from a shopping center parking lot is a great thing. Alas, the word is out on this Starbucks... relatively isolated for those of us traveling the Ramona Expressway or working our way towards the big decision of gambling on Sanderson to see if the I-10 west is a frigging parking lot out of Beaumont for no particular reason. The drive thru line is always lively, and generally slow. On our last trip, the staff seemed to be training a new barista maybe? ... because it took a really long time. Drinks are dependably accurate and strong, which makes the wait worth it compared to, say, the 7-Eleven across the street which can be hit or miss in the "hot" and "fresh" aspects of "hot fresh coffee." I've never had an issue here with rewards or bad attitudes, suggesting customer error vs. company error. Talk to ten random people on Florida Ave. sometime, and then form your own opinion. read more

I pulled into the drive thru and there was a girl standing out front with an iPad taking orders. As I roll down my window I hear her talking on her headset to another employee "ugh the second we start talking it gets busy, I'll talk to you later" and then welcomes me and proceeds to ask me if she can get any breakfast started. I say no thanks and then she says nothing, she just looks at me so I ask "are you taking drink orders too?" She sarcastically says, "no I'm just standing out here in the cold to not take your drink order." So I kinda laugh it off and she takes my order. I'm about to drive away and then she says "Can I ask you something? And don't get offended but are you okay? You came in here and your energy was off like you haven't slept in a while or something." At this point I'm just in shock because I was actually having a great morning, it was Christmas Eve and I was on my way to see my family and I had been blasting Christmas carols in the car. But also what if I wasn't okay? The holidays are tough for a lot of people and what if all it took was some little Gen Z girl taking my Starbucks order to send me over the edge? I work in hotels and have worked many Christmases, overnight shifts and holidays so I take zero offense if employees have an attitude or are short with me because the Karen's go wild during the holidays and I would never want to be that person. But to come for my energy?!? I'm not paying for that! It was so hurtful and unprovoked, I'm still in shock. read more

Clean, big, good variety of food offers, plus nice bathrooms. I generally don't write many reviews for Chains unless there's a good (or bad) reason. Since I saw lots of low grades for this Starbucks, but still wanted some SBs, I gambled. Easy parking lot helped ease me in. I notice they have the new sandwich that I've been liking lately (sausage, bacon, Southern biscuit). I notice that they were friendly and efficient, and it looked like a nice place. So there ya go. If you happen to be driving in the area, and you're jonesing for some Joe, this place is perfectly good. Oh, and it's got a Drive-Thru, too, it that's how you roll. This Starbucks really doesn't like people with disabilities. We used to meet here twice a week with our group of disabled people recently the seating change was appearing that they did not want us there. They don't have a problem with the homeless people coming in and sitting there taking up space, but when we come in there with our clients, they make us feel uncomfortable, this is the only Starbucks that has changed their seating arrangement where is absolutely Evident that they do not want us there. read more

Had a very rude encounter with "Christian", while at the drive thru window. After placing my order his attitude changed from nice to short and rude. Trying to ask for napkins, for straws, and to please double cup out medicine ball because the cup felt hot, was very difficult. His rude responses and sassy attitude was not welcoming and more of a deterrent to not want to come back. He literally turned his back to us as we were trying to make a simple request and he walked away from us. I went to the drive thru and made my order. First I was advised that that they had ran out of the nitro coffee so I had to change up that order, fine. Then when I finally reached the window I was again advised that they had "just" ran out of lemonade which 2 of the other orders contained. How you just ran out from the order screen to the window?!? So I was so "nicely" asked what I wanted to change it to? Well we changed one and said cancel the other, the girl look like I was inconveniencing her. Then a guy came to the window and again asked what did I want instead of the lemonade, I again informed him I had canceled it. Not only was the wait for the drive though over 30 mins (didn't realize that till it was too late and couldn't get out of line) they were out of stock of everything I wanted.
