Ordered a tea refresher and they said they were out so I just ordered a blonde coffee. All the while I was having my order taken, another asian lady cut me off by shoving in two water bottles for purchase. I was looking at her all pissed and the crew asked if we were together. I said no and the other lady was told that I was first in line. It took probably 5 seconds for the words to sink in before the lady apologized. But to my dismay, I was passed on to another barista who finished my order and took my payment. .... what the eff just happened... Uuggh, the upside(?) is I got my blond coffee which happens to be 1/5 foam in a tall cup.

Ordered A Venti Green Tea Latte with almond milk and it tasted just ok. The Green Tea taste was very light. The service was fast though.

One star!! This Starbucks Location has no sense of urgency. Everyone works at a snaiLs pace and doesn't mind Leaving patrons standing around with any acknowLedgement. I stood around for about five minutes just staring at the barista without a simpLe 'heLLo'. I was reLieved to finaLLy pLaced my order for a venti strawberry refresher with no water & substituted with Lemonade and a taLL white mocha with whip. The male barista is taking his sweet precious time with the drinks while the female barista is standing around doing NOTHING. She takes off her apron and there is a line forming, even then it takes her a hot minute to hop on the register. This Location is beyond CHILL and there seems to be a huge Lack of QuaLity controL. My strawberry refresher was super sweet, cup was sticky, and muLtipLe strawberry bits were disgustingly bad ( see my photo)- who serves people that sh*t?? I didn't even bother wasting my time going back to compLain. **Pass on this Location if you have any sense of standards.**

This Starbucks is indeed down on the Baggage claim level of Terminal 3 as Michelle M. states. It is not by a Food Court in Terminal 3 as Shirley N. speculates. You can even match the wallpaper at this Starbucks from the pic from the SFO dining web site to the pics posted to the Yelp business listing: http://www.flysfo.com/shop-dine-relax/dining I've gotten coffee here a couple of times upon arriving at SFO while waiting for my luggage. I can't say why, but it's been routinely worse than coffee at other Starbucks. The only good thing I can say about it is that it had enough caffeine in it to keep my eyelids propped open for the 50+ minutes drive down I-280 to Cupertino.

Starbucks has to compete with Peet's Coffee at this airport for prime spots. I was wanting that new Sweet Cream Cold Brew coffee and lucked out finding this out-of-way Starbucks downstairs. I had just used the kiosk to print my boarding pass and asked at the Info Desk if there was a S/B any place close? Lucky for me, there was. However, what this place lacks is the congenial customer service usually afforded to most java junkies who frequent Starbucks. I have never heard of coffee (which is a food item) being taxed but here it is. Also, though you may have a gold Starbucks card, which I do, you are denied free refills, which are your privilege. Try explaining that to the Filipino baristas and they don't care. The answer is no. Since I am not one to throw my weight around, except in the most dire of circumstances, I let this one go. But I was not a happy camper and privately vowed to seek my vengeance here on Yelp. So beware to SFO customers looking for anything beyond the most basic of coffee retailing here. Grab your caffeination fix and be on your way--grateful that some other Starbucks will act like they are glad to see you. 2 YELP STARS.

Americano tasted like dirty water. The lady got a bit offended when I asked for a re-make. Tasted even worse second time. $6 down the drain.

This location has always been slow, but is now glacial due to closure of the upstairs location. Avoid unless you have half an hour to kill.

Take note that this is in baggage claim area, not the loading area for getting on the planes.

There's a limited number of seats inside, but they also have a small outdoor patio as well. Good place to hang out and chill if you're able to grab a seat. I ordered the Gui Hua Oat Latte, since that sounded pretty unique. There was other drinks that I was interested in trying like some of the matcha drinks, but I rarely see an osmanthus-inspired drink at coffee shops. It is made already with oat milk, so I didn't have to ask for any milk substitutions. I thought it was pretty good in terms of a latte, however, I wish the osmanthus flavor was a little stronger. The barista mentioned that the latte would have more of a floral taste, but it felt pretty faint. Cost was pretty similar to other coffee shops in the area, since it was $8-9 for my drink with oat milk already included. Other than that, would come back if I'm ever back in the area. I like the cozy vibes and fun drinks that they have!

Contemporary interior with only some seating in the front, but they also have a back patio with more seating. Very clean bathroom which is always a plus. Good amount of metered parking nearby and around the corner. Would definitely stop by again to try more of their contemporary drinks.

There was also a red bean/mochi bread that was interesting. I probably wouldn't get this again, but good to try. I'm curious to try the other steamed buns that are $8-9/per container of four. Portuguese egg tarts were $3.75/per which is a little expensive imo. We'll be back some day.

Regular HK-style ones are just okay too, nothing standout. Not cheap either (around $3 each these days?), but I guess you're paying for convenience on the Peninsula. That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest. Theirs have that perfect silky, jiggly custard and buttery crust that makes you want to go back immediately. Suzanne's is fine for a quick fix, but if you can make the trip, skip this and head to GG Bakery instead. Solid neighborhood spot if you're lazy like me and want something nearby, but don't expect it to blow your mind.
