I used to meet my friend here every Friday then we'd go walk at Land Park. Great meeting spot. Parking lot in front is TIGHT, but there is another lot behind which is a lot roomier. The outside tables/patio are usually always taken by a large group of men that meet there. A few of them smoke, but they'll step to the street or parking lot to do that. A convenient location for me that is off of Freeport and across from William Land Park. I've never had any issues with service at this Starbucks location. When doing mobile orders, they do seem to take a bit longer than other locations, but I don't mind browsing the merchandise for a few minutes while waiting for my order to be ready. This Starbucks is right next to the park and nearby the community college so it does get very busy! Customer service is great as always and they always are consistent with their drinks, I never had to come back here to get my drink fixed. The parking lot is very small in both the front and back, there is street parking as well if you are lucky enough to find one. This is still my favorite Starbucks. As I mentioned before, Starbucks is Starbucks, but this continues to have the best customer service around!!! As one of the top producing stores in Sacramento, it is 90% of the time stuffed to the brim with locals and college students. However, the staff always keeps it clean, keeps the displays amazing, and there is always, and I mean always, a hello and a smile. Some of the staff have been here a few years and they remember regulars and preferred drinks. This effort makes it seem less like a huge corporate chain and more like a local Coffeehouse. The Starbucks here shares a lot with a couple of other businesses, and the parking spaces are compact. Saw a few cars that were over the white lines today. Depending on the time of day, there might not be any free spaces, but it seems like there is some parking available behind the building. Hand sanitizer available by the mobile order pickup. Plenty of open tables. They placed the mobile orders on the opposite side of the counter, so it's farther from the customer and difficult to see the name on the order. You can't just grab and go, you have to talk to a barista. Not the best for convenience, but I understand if you want to avoid people stealing customers' orders. I included an ice water with my order, and there was a pool of water sitting on top of the plastic lid waiting to spill over onto my hand. read more

Pretty good Starbucks to visit after the zoo. The parking spots on the street side of the lot are extremely narrow. I don't even think my car would have fit into one. Lots of tables were dirty. Customers: seriously, leaving empty your cups on the tables? Did you forget that your name is printed on it? Other tables had crumbs. Cashier was super nice and actually smiled. I came here primarily for remote work. Bought a turkey and stuffing holiday sandwich. Delicious. You'll definitely get bread dust all over you, but it will be worth it. Service is great, everyone very friendly. I ended up on a call and one of the staff brought me my heated up sandwich :) Space is very small and fills up very quickly. If you get there around 8am, you're good, but anything around noon or later, good luck. You can go to TeaHub across the street if they run out of space at Starbucks (not sure about their free WiFi, but they're right in the middle of an Xfinity hotspot, so the signal there is great. Starbucks' WiFi is great. There is an Xfinity hotspot here, but the signal is not great. WIFI PRO-TIP: If the third party gateway sign in page isn't showing up, use Internet Explorer instead of Chrome, or try some other browsers (IE did it for me). One thing I would really like to see, and I feel that Starbucks would have more power in lobbying the plaza owners for this: Bike parking. There is no bike parking for the entire plaza, at least up front where you might be able to see if your bike's getting stolen. read more

I usually just do a mobile order bc I get my drink pretty quick and not have to wait in line. Having said that they have great customer service, great seating, as well as outlets making it a good area to work. This location does lack adequate parking. This particular location can get extremely busy with all of the local college students which is why I usually always order ahead using the mobile app. Parking at this location can also be a little tricky, as the parking lot is pretty tight if you don't have a compact car. I usually just park behind the store or down a side street so I don't get stuck in the tiny parking lot out front. Despite it's constant flow of customers, the workers here are friendly and try their best to get your drinks out as quick as possible. I wouldn't recommend trying to do work at this location as it can get pretty noisy and it's rare to find an open table. But if you're looking for your caffeine fix, this will do. read more

Stopped here because I was on my way to pick up a friend and I needed a caffeine fix. Upon arrival, parking wasn't an issue for me; I was able to get parking in the front. When I walked in, it was so packed and it was pure chaos. The line was super long. I didn't have my coffee yet so I was a little grumpy and impatient so instead of waiting in line, I thought "hey, why not just mobile order, cut my wait time in half." So, I did and I was right. However, they were so busy that it took awhile for them to get to mine but it was still faster than waiting in line then waiting for my drink. I used to come to this location at least 4x a week. When I walked in at 6:15 on a Sunday night it wasn't busy. There were quite a few customers sitting at tables, but no one in line. I ordered my drink. The barista (Nicki?) was chatting with one of the male employees. She began to make a drink. Very calculated which is fine but S-L-O-W! She kept staring at something holding cinnamon as if she wasn't sure what went in or on the drink. (I was thinking "I need to get a hotel for this adventure!") I moved over to another area to wait, but I was still able to see her (trying to plan the rest of her life out!) Finally she called out the drink and a lady already standing at the counter took it and waited for her second! Another 5 minutes later the barista hands over the second drink. Then the lady asks for ice water. (Just take your coffee and go home already, lady!!) It was MY turn. Psych!! Not even. She made another drink and called out the name. Then she finally starts my drink. In the meantime someone brings her pizza, so she acknowledged them, then she starts talking to another employee, she's making my drink while jibber jabbering and not really paying attention. The guy she was talking to decides to help her--after just stand there talking--so he pours the milk for my drink. I get my drink and go. I'm in my car now. My drink burnt my tongue even though I had whipped cream and was super slow at sipping it! My drink is really bitter with a pump shy of being "normal!" I'm annoyed. The main reason I wrote this review was not about the coffee at all. It was about the "housekeeping" issue that was there!! Filthy!! Papers everywhere. Trash on the floor. Gross counters. Solid location for the locals and coffee addicts. My cousin brought me here after we got some massages near by and we saw some of her friends. This is a popular spot for the locals and for students at SCC. I saw many pretty eye candy here. This location was pretty clean. The baristas was fast and very friendly. They make a very good Green Tea Lemonade that hit the spot on this very hot day in Sac-town. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and regardless if you are inside or outside....you are still able to access the free wifi. Solid. read more

Located next to William Land Park and Sac City College, this Starbucks is always busy. The parking lot can be just as busy and packed but remember there is street parking on the side. My drinks are always made the way I like at this location so that's why I like to come here instead of the Greenhaven location (If it's busy, drinks can take a while). The staff is very friendly and they seem to try to get to know people which is always nice to witness. I'm a huge fan of the mobile app so stay ahead of the game and order your drinks ahead to avoid the crowd! read more

One extra star for the awesome baristas here. Otherwise, standard coffee at standard prices at a standard location off the busy strip known as Freeport. The mental minus one star? There is a group of men who stake out a corner of the patio area and chain smoke like there is no tomorrow. While I understand their rights to smoke, I hate the fact that I can't go sit outside and enjoy the fresh air after a vigorous ride through the park. At least some of the other smokers lower their stream of the stuff out and away from hitting the face of children next door. Not this pack.......these guys sit there hotboxing through and generating a blob so toxic we are usually forced to go sit back inside. Otherwise, a busy location for neighbors in the area, students from SCC, and if events are taking place at the park, be ready for the onslaught of attendees. read more

On the weekdays after 3 p.m. It gets pretty noisy and crowded. But before that time, it does give you enough quietness for studying and relaxing. There are many tables and chairs.
