Stopped into this Starbucks with my fellow Elite bestie Courtney O before our dinner plans. Ambiance: 8/10 It looks like your classic Starbucks, but this one is super spacious and open inside. Lots of long tables and some even have outlets, which is always a plus. The bathroom was clean and surprisingly large. My one complaint is there were no purse hooks or even a little shelf to set your bag on. I do not understand why places skip this detail. We do not want to put our purses on the floor. Service: 9 /10 The staff was great. Very nice, very helpful. We asked for drink recommendations, gave them an idea of what flavors we liked, and they immediately started throwing out suggestions that fit our vibe. After we ordered, they got right to work and our drinks were ready quickly. Drinks: 9 /10 I went with the strawberry refresher and it was exactly what I needed. Crisp, sweet, and actually refreshing. Courtney stuck with her classic order and was happy as always. No surprises, just solid drinks done right. We stopped into this Starbucks location last night to waste some time before dinner plans. They are located on Watt Ave and Fair Oaks Blvd in the same pavilion as Mas Tacos and I was relieved to see that they were open until 9pm. We ordered a Strawberry Refresher and an Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso which is my go to. They were both delicious and hit the spot for a nice evening pick me up! Interior had lots of tables including long community ones. It was also clean and well stocked. The 2 employees working were also very friendly and gave great recommendations! They even wrote cute messages on our drink cups! I will be back to this location the next time I am in the area. Check them out! read more

On Tuesday, July 29, at approximately 1:00 p.m., I walked into this Starbucks with my daughter and asked for a cup of water while we waited for my phone to charge so I could use the Starbucks app to purchase food for us. I was immediately told no. I have worked at Starbucks myself, and I have never been told to deny anyone a free cup of water, especially in 100-degree weather. That is what made this experience so upsetting. I have always loved Starbucks, but the way I was treated during this visit was completely unacceptable. I left feeling discriminated against. I don't know whether it was because of my skin color, the clothes I was wearing, or another reason, but I cannot understand why I was denied a simple cup of water for myself and my child after explaining that my phone had just died and I was only waiting for it to turn back on so I could place an order. What made the situation even more concerning was what happened afterward. I told my mother about the experience. About an hour later, she went into the same Starbucks, encountered the same employees, and asked for a cup of water. She is of a lighter complexion, and she was given a free cup of water immediately, with no questions asked and no requirement to make a purchase. Based on these experiences, I believe my treatment should be thoroughly investigated. No one should be made to feel singled out or treated differently when asking for something as basic as a cup of water, especially in extreme heat and while accompanied by their child. I will be taking further action because I do not believe anyone should have to experience what I did. read more

I was going into this Starbucks expecting a standard wait time but was met with workers who were more interested in their conversation than they were in making my drink. It took them 25 minutes to make 2 small drinks they had 3 three people working and the store was practically empty. I'm not one to complain but when your in a rush and they completely botch your name making you think your drink is not done then having to ask them if your drink is done and finding out it has been but they called a name completely opposite of yours u can't help but say something. Someone here on Easter day. I'm glad that Starbucks is one of the main locations that are open on major holidays. Had to use the last $5 of my hundred dollar gift card I won. Typically I go in and talk to the barista to find out what they drink and make my drink based off some of their favorites. So I got the vanilla cold brew and barista Jazz it up how she enjoys hers. I also like the fact that you can get refills for free at Starbucks now and tea coffee or cold brew. Location wasn't extremely busy today, most likely due to the holiday. Staff was nice and there was plenty of seating. I always like to learn what other people enjoy getting at Starbucks. Let me know if I should try your drink. read more

Been here several times over the past few years. Now that it is close to my weekly bowling center, this is a good place to hang out prior to league. Location & Availability: While it is convenient on the way to bowling each week, the super busy street it is on make getting into it a little tricky even when not during rush hours. Parking is on two sides of the building but not a lot of spaces at the busier times. There are two parking spots in front marked 10 minutes so one can quickly stop and pick up to go. Environment: Nice store overall with fairly tidy interior. Needs touch ups to renew the walls that have noticeable marks and chips due to time and use. Smaller interiors could use a brighter color than the current black to increase the feeling of space. Glad to see a few tables for outdoor seating. The road noise outside is not as bad as one would expect for being so close to such a busy road. Flooring is okay but could use some love with refinish or deep clean. Staff is pleasant each time I have been here. This is one of the better around this area having people regularly coming through. I like to hang out with people around so that is important when I consider the vibe. Food & Drinks: The reliable chain options and quality, as expected. Today was my usual Trenta Iced Green Tea. Fast and nice services! Not many parking spaces in front of this Starbucks! The mocha I ordered tasted very well. Hot and rich chocolate with coffee tastes. One of the best compared to the other Starbucks. The cashier was very friendly. The rest of the employees there are also very nice too. The drinks are ready in less than 3 minutes on Wednesday at 11am. Very few parking spaces available in front of the shop. What can I say? Starbucks is a consistent and ubiquitous brand. Convenient place to meet people for quick "catch up" or business discussion or whatever. I'm not a regular customer by any stretch, but I appreciate that they're all over and predictable. This one is pretty small compared to others that I've been to. They do have some outdoor seating, which we took advantage of since most of the tables inside were full and it was a nice day. Service was good... not super fast, but they were busy so it's understandable. I had the peppermint mocha frap because 'tis the season and I have maybe one or two of those per year. read more

I have been here a couple times a month for the last 9 months and it is a very professional Starbucks. The staff are very nice, easy to have a quick convo with, and are easy to hear when they call out your order. The food is always delicious and hot, and the shelves look very nice and tidy. Y'ALL... I don't know if it's just me, this is the most cramped Starbucks I've ever been to. I decided to stop here on the way to Folsom Flea Market for a snack and I felt claustrophobic as soon as I entered. The store was PACKED!!! All the seats were occupied and I was baffled by the huge community table right by the exit. There was one dedicated cashier and three others taking care of the orders. I spotted some items on "clearance" while in line and decided to grab a blue bag of Holiday Blend. One barista informed the cashier that the item was on sale so I thought "Sweet, a bag of coffee for around $11". WRONG!!! It rang up as $15.99 which suggest it retailed for $20!!! Hot dang, that is one expensive bag of coffee. I asked the cashier if the price she's charging me is the correct price and she said "that is what it is ringing up to...". Okay... but is it the sale price!?? Without knowing any better on the correct retail price for the bag of coffee I decided to go ahead and pay for it anyway. Someone else described Starbucks as a "ubiquitous" brand, and I think that sums them up appropriately. Sure, they are a corporate juggernaut with locations on almost literally every corner, but they also have a great product and they sure know how to get you hooked. I usually go with a latte but the gal in front of me mentioned the iced coffee with salted caramel cream foam and I buckled. This thing was like sipping on iced crack. I now have another drink to add to my list of Starbucks favorites. Coffee aside, the service here was quick, prompt and cheerful. Had a good experience there today. I placed a mobile order and they were making it when I got there. When I got out to my car, the lid of my Frappuccino popped off and I spilled part of my drink in my car. I went back inside carrying my spilled drink and they gave me a wet wipe for my hands, some paper towels for my car, and made me a new drink.
