This Starbucks is located across the street from the Movie Tavern and in the same shopping strip as Five Guys.... The Drive thru is weird in that you have to route around the building to the back and then come around to the front....never the less...it's not that hard...just follow the crowd...that's what I do anyhow... Been here lots of time and never had any problem with my order except once when they served me some watered down ice coffee. The manager was nice about it and offered me a cold brew as a replacement drink. Even though I'm not crazy about Starbuck's cold brew concoction I took it because well I paid like $4.00 for it. So now when I come through here I only get a flat white or a soy misto....

Great frappe's very convenient location. Great staff nothing to complain about. This is my go to location. The service is always fast and friendly. I've never had any problems with any of my orders.

Who gives a Starbucks a 5-star rating? I do! This is by far my favorite Starbucks near our house and in the area. The staff is so friendly and on point, the store is clean and I've never had to ask for the coffee station to be restocked with anything and I've been here at least 20 times. Kudos! See you on Friday.

About 20 mins before I received my coffee order! Crazy right? And it wasn't at a busy time at all.

I typically don't rate Starbucks because I always have good/great experiences - always a nice, calming environment, clean restrooms, good food and coffees. Hubby and I ventured out to this local spot after being cooped up from the Dec 2017 Snowpocalyse! I needed a caffeine jolt, he needed to get out and also we needed to charge up my electronics as our house is still without power. My review isn't about the coffee/food but rather of the customer service and timeliness of receiving our order. Hubby ordered during a slow period. I think there was a line at the drive through, but that normally doesn't affect how drinks are made inside. Placed an order for a sandwich, bottled juice and macchiatto. Sandwich quickly came out and was eaten with the juice. However....20 mins later and still no macchiato! 20 MINUTES! *According to Hubby, the Bacon Gouda Sandwich was delicious. There was 4 employees working but one of the managers left station due to another customer causing some issue...don't know what happened but she was obviously emotional about it - I do hope she is OK. So down to 3 employees making coffee. Not sure why it took 20 mins and yet a mobile order was made ahead of mine? By the way, the mobile order is still sitting at the counter, another 10 mins AFTER I pick up mine. No explanation, no apologies for the wait, not even a smile as the coffee was handed to me. I wasn't being difficult by any means. I was just waiting, wondering where my coffee was, and just standing around waiting for it to get made. Is it too much to ask to have an order prepared at least within 10 mins of ordering? Order placed 3:37PM, Order received 3:54PM. I would say this is the worst service I have received at a Starbucks.

This location is always SO SLOW and the employees seem grumpy which is rare for Starbucks. I try to avoid this location when I can.

Mizizi stands for the root of the plant in Swahili. Their espresso is called Kibo and offered in both caf/decaf options and hails from the Ethiopian highlands. I was delighted by a tasty double shot and followed that up with a late. Nicole had a late as well. We also ordered an almond and chocolate croissant. I've probably driven by Mizizi a dozen times, not noticing it's there. Hidden off the side of the road, in a small strip. It's that easy to miss. It's definitely a local type of place. When we visited on a Saturday at noon, there were just a few high schoolers studying. Our barista was friendly and made our drinks quickly and even offered to heat up our pastries, which we took her up on. It was a cute place to hang out with bar style chairs at the window sill and a chess set ready to play on top of the window counter top. We seated ourselves in the comfy booths while we savored our food. I asked if they had any savory pastries to which the answer was no, just sweet. The espresso tasted sweet not bitter and seemed to be well dialed in. I liked visiting Mizizi and would definitely swing by again if I happened to be in the neighborhood.

I've said for a long time that "America runs on bad coffee"...pun intended. This shop, and a select few like it, are trying to change that. Before you balk at the higher prices take the time to understand that: 1. Specialty Coffee prices are not primarily set by shops like this one. The high price comes from the very complex international coffee market. 2. These coffees are truly in another category. Comparing this to Starbucks would be like comparing an old, beat up, Ford Escort to an untouched Bugatti right off the assembly line. 3. If it weren't for shops like Belux, you wouldn't have access to the "Louis Vuittons" of coffee. So thank them. For the Bourbon bro, treat it like that elusive high end bourbon that you've been searching for just sitting on a shelf at your local store at MSRP. And for the wine enthusiast - like that exclusive Red that would make even the best of sommeliers blush. I dare you to purchase a more expensive pour over, don't put any cream or sugar in it, sit in the shop, slow down, and enjoy the experience. You'll be glad you did.

I got the matcha latte and an iced latte with vanilla. The matcha was whisked which I absolutely love. I did get it with vanilla but it was definitely on the sweeter side. The iced latte though was so good and the coffee was strong! I liked this space but definitely on the pricier side for a smaller sized matcha latte. Overall, I liked the ambiance and will be back to try the desserts.

The cafe has a very homey atmosphere, with the ordering counter being right in front when you walk in. I took a look at the seasonal menu and ordered the gingerbread cortado. While our drinks were being made, we decided to explore the shop. There was one more room in the back that's ducked off from the rest of the cafe, giving a more cozy and intimate vibe. Since there was already a good amount of people, there were no empty tables for my friend and I to sit at. It took about 10 minutes for both of our drinks to be ready, which isn't a long wait. Upon initially trying my drink, I hated it. The orange flavor in the drink caught me off guard, the nutmeg gave it a spicy element, and there was a strong espresso taste coming through. After some time, I got used to the taste and it wasn't as shocking to my palette, but I personally don't prefer cortado coffee drinks. If I'm back in the area I would definitely stop here, but I'd probably order a drink I'm more familiar with.

Pastries were yummy, espresso and matcha drinks are excellent so that's a win! Downside is the parking; if you can find a spot up on the little hill, great but it is a little tight. They do offer additional parking behind the business and a walking path that connects to the shop. Seating, like any popular coffee shop, can be hard to find but there are beautiful spots outside to enjoy. The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy and not weighted down like so many other places. The chicken, maple syrup and sliced/sauted jalapeño slices was great if you crave mostly savory with a little sweet. A good portion of fried/breaded chicken that was seasoned well. The green matcha was more decadent with a layer of whipped cream in between the cakes and shavings of white chocolate to garnish with. The mango and kiwi pancake is nice if you want a lighter fruity version and the two pair quite well. Underneath is a mango purée perfect to sop up with your pancake fork in hand! The Nutella and banana came with the chocolate separate that you could drizzle on top. So much fun! I don't think you can go wrong with the food choices here. We started the day a little late so we were looking for a brunch place. I came across Fluffy Fluffy on Yelp and since they serve Japanese-inspired pancakes, we decided to give it a try. It was Mother's Day so the restaurant was completely full when we arrived. We took a while deciding what to order and luckily a table opened up at just the right time. We ordered both a savory and a sweet dish, the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and the Mini Soufflé Pancakes. One thing to note. Their website mentions that the combo set is available all day but this particular location doesn't offer it. We really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. You can choose either a croffle or sweet toast and we went with the sweet toast which was delicious. I also loved the dressing they used on the salad. (I was disappointed to later find out that they actually sell the dressing!) The soufflé pancakes, however, were a bit of a mixed experience for us. We chose the mini version so we could try four different flavors: blueberry cheese, tiramisu, matcha tiramisu, and strawberry cream. In the end, we were actually glad we ordered the minis instead of a full-size pancake with just one flavor. Out of the four, the blueberry cheese was our favorite. The tiramisu flavors didn't really taste much like tiramisu to us and the strawberry cream topping was fairly simple as well. The pancakes themselves were also a little drier than we expected. I also ordered a matcha latte but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. It tasted a bit watery and didn't have a good matcha flavor. Overall, it ended up being a hit-or-miss experience for us but we still thought it was a fun and unique concept to try.
