I recently moved to Mableton and drive a different direction to my job in Roswell. I've recently started placing my mobile orders to this location and I've been happy with the service(always cheerful employees) my drinks have been perfectly made and the food always hot. This Starbucks is located across the street from the Movie Tavern and in the same shopping strip as Five Guys.... The Drive thru is weird in that you have to route around the building to the back and then come around to the front....never the less...it's not that hard...just follow the crowd...that's what I do anyhow... Been here lots of time and never had any problem with my order except once when they served me some watered down ice coffee. The manager was nice about it and offered me a cold brew as a replacement drink. Even though I'm not crazy about Starbuck's cold brew concoction I took it because well I paid like $4.00 for it. Located right off Woodstock Road, the location is excellent; however, that's about all I can say that is positive. The store was pretty full, with students studying, and the typical "Starbucks" clientele. I was surprised to see the store so filthy. Although I saw at least 4 team members, there were dirty tables, trash cans that were overflowing, and trash strewn about. I was not greeted when I stood at the counter. In fact, two associates walked right past me and ignored me. Finally, a gentleman acknowledged me and took my order. While he was "preparing" my Caramel Macchiato, I went to the restroom. I was pretty shocked to learn that they forgot my order when I went back for my coffee. Not good at all. The only positive thing I have to say is that my coffee was delicious. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Atlanta. It's a great place to relax, work and study. I love the patio area. The set-up flows well; good feng shui maybe? Also the staff... great customer service, smiles, and friendliness. I lived in that area for a year and a half and I miss being close to it! I typically don't rate Starbucks because I always have good/great experiences - always a nice, calming environment, clean restrooms, good food and coffees. Hubby and I ventured out to this local spot after being cooped up from the Dec 2017 Snowpocalyse! I needed a caffeine jolt, he needed to get out and also we needed to charge up my electronics as our house is still without power. My review isn't about the coffee/food but rather of the customer service and timeliness of receiving our order. Hubby ordered during a slow period. I think there was a line at the drive through, but that normally doesn't affect how drinks are made inside. Placed an order for a sandwich, bottled juice and macchiatto. Sandwich quickly came out and was eaten with the juice. However....20 mins later and still no macchiato! 20 MINUTES! *According to Hubby, the Bacon Gouda Sandwich was delicious. There was 4 employees working but one of the managers left station due to another customer causing some issue...don't know what happened but she was obviously emotional about it - I do hope she is OK. So down to 3 employees making coffee. Not sure why it took 20 mins and yet a mobile order was made ahead of mine? By the way, the mobile order is still sitting at the counter, another 10 mins AFTER I pick up mine. No explanation, no apologies for the wait, not even a smile as the coffee was handed to me. I wasn't being difficult by any means. I was just waiting, wondering where my coffee was, and just standing around waiting for it to get made. Is it too much to ask to have an order prepared at least within 10 mins of ordering? Order placed 3:37PM, Order received 3:54PM. Five stars for a Starbucks? Yup, this one actually is as good as it gets, so good in fact, that I'm willing to risk what little Yelp cred I may have and give the highest possible rating to this outpost of the king of corporate chains. First, it's HUGE. Tons of seating, whether banquette, comfy leather couches, big upholstered chairs, a bar with laptop hookups, plentiful tiny two tops, or lots of beautiful resort-like wicker tables and chairs with giant umbrellas on their generous sized patio (which is dog friendly to boot!), there were plenty of places to sit and hole up, even on a busy Saturday afternoon. Secondly, it's beautiful. The walls behind the espresso machines are covered in a soothing tile mosaic. The countertops have a lovely pebble finish. The pendant lamps and overheads are varied wrought iron designs. And as I mentioned, the furniture on the patio looks like something you would see at a nice resort hotel, not your neighborhood chain coffee place. Even the artwork on the walls was a step above -featuring rotating paintings for sale by local artists. And did I mention the leather sofas? Finally, the two baristas working while I type this are awesome. Cheerful without being annoying, and clearly going the extra step to make sure everyone feels welcome. Every customer that has walked in has been greeted promptly, and along with each drink, they're offering glasses of ice water in addition since it is a little warm outside. Their case of pastries and goodies is also very well stocked -there are at least 15 different items to chose from, including a variety of Starbucks' new "mini" indulgences that I haven't been able to find yet. While I'm unlikely to make the drive up here on a regular basis, if you're in the area and need a place to study or meet a friend for a cup of anything caffeinated, this is your place. There are at least half a dozen Starbucks locations within a five mile radius, but this one is above and beyond any of those options. read more

I feel like the odd man out after reading several of my elite friends' reviews. My experiences have been nothing short of a let down the past 6 attempts in November and December of 2012. In fact, I WANT to like this location because it has a great spot only 2 miles from my house. But alas... The baristas here have literally messed up my drink order every time I've come here. I forgave the new employee twice, but then some of the veterans have let me down. I order soy because I get sick with milk... which means it is VERY important to me that they get this right. If they dont, it's not a very pleasant experience for me and the reaction is quick. My drive thru experience wasn't much better either. All things said, they have all been very polite and cordial about the whole affair, but I've kept my business down the street at the King road location. I wont write this location off and will certain revise my review should performance improve. read more

Thought I'd give it another try. Service was much better; they are more attentive to the walk in customers instead of focusing on the drive through traffic. Got a cappuccino that was prepared just fine. Was a little disappointed to see that they took out their comfortable sofa, but in its place they added more table and chairs, so there's more seating area available now, which I think is an improvement. read more

This is one of the most welcoming Starbucks I have ever been to. I came in on a Sunday afternoon to a warm atmosphere. The cashier was very friendly and patient and had friendly suggestions for what drink I should get. My drinks were made promptly and correctly. As I was sitting down reading, one of the workers (a tall guy with a beard) hand delivered someone their drink. He was also sure to confirm that someone else had nonfat milk and to make sure that every customer is satisfied with what they received. I live about 30 minutes away, and I wish my local Starbucks was more like this one. I will make sure if I'm back in the area that this will be where I go to. read more

Such a horrible experience this morning. I was the 2nd person in line & the guy in front of me could not get his phone to work. They literally spent 5 minutes trying to make it happen & then he gave up. I ordered plain coffee and a sandwich. She gets the coffee then goes to put the sandwich in the oven. She can't get the packaging open, and the top ends up flying across the counter, she then uses he bare hands to put it on the cooking parchment paper. So we walked into this place a little before 7 pm - there were several people inside sitting at the tables, but no one in line for drinks - so we made our way to the register, having to sidestep the employee mopping the floors and dance around the wet spots to find some kind of walkable path. We ordered our drinks - the only ones in the store waiting for anything - and they proceeded to forget our drinks for 15 minutes. It certainly wasn't because they were busy - all the baristas were standing around chatting and telling jokes to each until we finally said something. Their excuse? "Oh, the machine didn't print out a sticker so we forgot. It must be out of paper again." They had to ask our drinks again, didn't upgrade the size or anything, and five minutes later a bored barista handed us some very subpar tasting coffee without so much as an apology. Do not go inside to get your drink if the drive-thru is busy. For the third time in the past few weeks, seeing a busy drive-thru, I opted to park and go inside. And for the third time, I watched as staff left in-store drink orders unfulfilled in order to clear orders for the drive-thru. I do not know if they are trained to make the drive-thru a priority; I have simply never seen the bias so openly displayed as it is in this store when they are busy. I am not a coffee drinker but I am trying to get myself off of energy drinks. My boyfriend suggested Coffee so we are now on the Coffee train. I walked into Starbucks and told the lady at the register that I didn't drink coffee and I'm not even sure what to order. She helped guide me to a drink that I may like. I like chai tea so she suggested chai tea with a shot of espresso and no water. It changed my life!! It's so delicious!! The staff here was so happy and smiley and friendly that it made me feel very comfortable being a first-time coffee drinker. The warm welcome when I walked in and the service alone would convert me to be a coffee drinker. I feel like after this experience I have very high expectations for Starbucks and hope every Starbucks I walk into is as awesome as this one! I have been a loyal customer for years at this Starbucks only to be treated horribly lately with my drink to be sooo inconsistent it ridiculous ,, I have ordered same drink every day for years, paying a good price for a good cup of coffee , the last couple of months drink s awful , just awful not good , made with soy , not correct , forgot vanilla, just literally Sucks , then to be told at the drive thur one du.. oh drink not good , well you can drive back around or go to another Starbuks , WHAT?.
