My local goto Starbucks and how lucky am I to have such a top notch java shop so close to my home. I've been going here ever since moving to Canton so this review is long overdue. Best baristas around. You're greeted with a smile and a "can I help you" every time. Helpful and knowledgeable is the normal here as they always answer questions on different drinks I might have. I'm very impressed with the teamwork that goes on. Lots of communication between the different employees working to get your order out to you quick, hot and correct. And if your doing drive through they always ask if you want a Pup Cup for your fur baby. A very pleasant experience every time. An average size patio in the front with good size umbrellas, decent seating on the inside and a nice oversized pick up counter for your mobile order. read more

I have never waited this long for my drink at a starbucks and I have been a long time customer for over 5 years. The worker Ev, who I have had problems with in the past seemed as if she was moving in slow motion. It took AT LEAST 10 minutes to make a simple hot white mocha I will not be returning to this location anymore, you just lost a longtime customer. read more

this starbucks is honestly one of the best Starbucks' that i've been to in a while. the workers are soooo nice and always make me feel like i'm at home. they're constantly in a good mood and laughing while also making the drinks super fast. not to mention the music and how clean the store has gotten has greatly improved. today i went in and there was a line wrapped around the drive through and the workers where getting the drinks out fast. when i ordered and they made my drink i accidentally spilled it all over the pick up counter and when i started cleaning it up they were so sweet and said to not worry and that they'll clean it up for me. read more

Unfortunately there was so much ice that the lavender just sat on the bottom & the straw wouldn't move. She reluctantly gave me a little more oatmilk to blend the drink. I've only been here once, but the baristas made a lasting impression on me! Stopped by on our way to Red Top Mountain State Park over Memorial Day Weekend. Needed caffeine and a quick bite. I went inside instead of going through the drive-thru and was immediately greeted by the staff. I asked if they had oat milk and unfortunately, they didn't at that time. There's a shortage of oat milk in a lot of the Starbucks around me so I wasn't surprised. I ordered an almond milk honey flat white, my go-to before Starbucks started carrying oat milk. I also ordered their egg white and roasted pepper egg bites. Never had them before and thought they were pretty good. Would order again. My drink was consistent with all the other almond milk honey flat whites I've had from other stores. The staff was incredibly friendly and personable. You could also tell that they have great chemistry. I interacted with at least three different team members and they were all very pleasant. They made small talk with me and actually seemed to genuinely care about my responses. They made my morning. Ashley REFUSED to GIVE me more WHIP CREAM after being STINGY and giving me a tiny bit (after I asked for a cup of whip cream). I actually ORDERED EXTRA WHIP CREAM FOR MY VENTI DRINK with my MOBILE ORDER. They didn't put any whip cream at all in my drink at all... despite my mobile order specified extra whip cream. When I asked for a cup of whip, Ashley was very stingy and hardly put any whip cream in the small mini cup. The refused to give me more when I asked. I mobile ordered a Venti hot coffee with extra whip cream. It came without any whip cream at all. The drive-thru employee told me that her name was Ashley, but she didn't have a name tag on so I'm not sure if she gave me her real name. I told Ashley (the drive-through window employee that they didn't give me any whip cream even though I asked for extra whip cream. Ashley was stingy with the whip cream and put a little in their small mini cup. I asked if I could have some more in the cup. She told me no. Ashley told me that I couldn't have any more whip cream. Ashley told me that she couldn't give me more because she had to have enough for other customers. It was 7:55pm. She told me that they had to have enough for when they closed at 9:30pm. I guess I wasn't important enough as the other customers. It was around They didn't give me any whip cream at all in my drink even though (I'm my mobile order) I asked to extra whip cream. This was a mobile order so they read it. It wasn't like it was said to them and they misunderstood or didn't hear something. It was even printed on the sticky ticket that they put on the cup. I told her that I would pay for the extra whip cream. She told me that they don't charge for whip cream. She told me that there's no way that she can give me more whip cream. I ordered extra whip cream on my mobile order for a large venti sized drink. She just should have said that they couldn't make the drink instead of not adding any whip cream at all to my drink. (The drink was nasty by the way.). This Starbucks drinks have been nasty a few times. You never know what you're going to get. The SERVICE is also so, SO SLOW. I've waited so, so long for coffee to be made during previous visits at this Starbucks. WAITED 20 MINUTES OR MORE FOR 1 COFFEE MANY TIMES. Their customer service is NOT on the same level as the other Starbucks. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR. They have some people that are nice and some who seem like they're having a bad day or would rather be somewhere else. This Starbucks, you don't know what you're going to get, but if I get poor service or a bad drink it's no surprise. I'm not saying that they never make good drinks or good service. . DRINKS HAVE SUCKED MANY TIMES. It's hit or miss. Like toss a coin. But I've had the poor service and bad drinks enough times that I'm not surprised. It's like a coin toss, you never know what you're going to get.). That's why they probably stay open late longer than the other Starbucks in the area. Because the drinks sometimes suck, and so do the customer service. I assume that they don't get the amount of customers as the other stores. If the other stores in the area were still open, I would have gone to one of them in a heartbeat. LOOKING AT THESE PAST REVIEWS, I'M SURPRISED STARBUCKS ALLOWS THIS STORE TO CONTINUE TO CARRY ITS NAME. They have super nice baristas that work here and they know how to make a killer flat white! Sometimes when I go into a Starbucks thats inside a Target or Kroger I don't always get the best quality of drinks or service. For example the ice coffee that's in my Town Lake Kroger sometimes taste like a stale liquid ashtray...the Target that's up on Highway on 92 in Woodstock sometimes has incredibly rude baristas that work there....but not here. Not only are the folks that work here super nice and cool but they know how to make a drink....Kudos all the way. The store is inside the Super Target off of Cumming Highway and Northside Cherokee Blvd. It's next to a Kohl's and there is a Dicks Sporting Goods and Bed Bath and Beyond across on the other side of Northside Blvd. The store itself is pretty big for a Target Starbucks. I'm guessing it can easily fit 25 people at any given time and still have room for a few more. I was here last year around the holidays and the place was packed to the brim. Still the barista were super upbeat and kept the place neat and tidy.....I wish it were a bit closer to me that way I can frequent here more often....thanks guys for always sending me off happy and keep up the good work.... read more

By far the worst Starbucks on the planet! Went to order a Cafe Misto with Blonde Roast around 4pm. They guy behind the counter said they no longer have blonde roast - then clarified none made. I told him that's fine I don't mind waiting for a fresh pot to be made, he offered a pour over, I am not a fan of the pour over, usually made way to strong and I know the policy for Starbucks in which they should make a pot of coffee, he said he would make a pot of coffee. His reasoning originally was well we will end up wasting a whole pot of coffee to make me a fresh pot. My mother and brother ordered their drinks - we paid and to my astonishment my misto was ready immediately. When I asked the lady who made the drink if there was a fresh pot made she looked at me stupid and said no he just told me to make a blonde espresso and I would be fine, WTF!!! Absolutely not, he said he would brew a fresh pot - she said okay we will take care of it. Then she did nothing and a supervisor came out and refused to make my drink. Her excuse was it's against Starbucks policy to brew blonde roast after 11am, then it changed to well we already cleaned the pots. I asked her for the store manger and district manager's info - and she came out and said well here is a refund, I explained I just wanted her to make my coffee not once did I ask for a refund. I had them made it with Pikes Place. The supervisor wrote the number down wrong and when I asked the gentleman if he could get her to verify the number he rolled his eyes at me verified the last 4 digits were right I asked him to verify the whole number and that was such a chore for him and he rudely rolled his eyes at me again and told me the number she wrote was wrong. When I stepped outside to call the District Manager my mother told him he wasn't being difficult he just wanted a basic coffee and the man said well we usually don't make the coffee after 11, she said why did you tell him you would then...NOW THIS IS THE MOST COMICAL RESPONSE I HAVE EVER HEARD. He said he was being so aggressive with me and scared me so I just told him I would. Mind you I wasn't being in ANY WAY AGGRESSIVE, rude, disrespectful, spoke in a normal tone, was nice and asked questions. This man needs to learn what basic customer service is and if he is in any way a representative of how the newer generation is going to be the world is completely screwed! On top of that I spoke to 2 friends that said this Starbucks couldn't make a drink right to save their life and the other friend said I completely avoid that location the entire crew is TRASH. I have been coming here now on a fairly regular basis and the mistakes at the window seemed to have been worked out. This place is a little funky to get to when coming off of hwy 20. The inside space is ok and they have a drive thru which is something I use more than walking in. It is usually very clean and well stocked. The morning rush can get super intense. More and more recently this location has been disappointing. This has always been my go-to Starbucks even while others have opened up closer to my route. This location is always out of something that I'm trying to order. Whether it's my usual iced chai tea latte, the size cup that I wanted to buy it in, my daughters white mocha, the dome lid that she wanted for whpped cream on it, they are always out of something! Yesterday it was 2% milk (their standard)! There is a new Starbucks that has opened up closer to me and I have avoided it so far because I did not like the manager of the place (Sixes Road). I tried to approach the manager at THIS location but am always told she is "unavailable" or "out to lunch". Unfortunately I believe this to be true. Would have scored lower but the staff never fails to make me smile. Wish they had time to stop and say hello more often. Coffee businesses that make $5.00 coffee, need to make a $5.00 experience. The barristers threw the coffees down on the counter expecting customers to figure out who's was who's. 4-6 people waiting. My mom and I touched two coffees sitting to be picked up, because it look like our order. Turns out one of the coffees belong to the lady behind us. She politely ask the barrister to make her another one because we had touched hers. A little over board in our opinion, but the barrister was rude, she rolled her eyes and threw the cup in the sink, before she made the lady a new one. After all that Starbucks has done to be Covid safe, closing their indoor sitting and bathrooms to make a point of their safety practices during Covid, should of politely offered to fix and deliver a $new 5.00 cup of coffee to the lady. I have never done this before but made a yelp account just to compliment this place. I am back in Canton maybe once every two months or so just for the weekend, and usually stop by here since the only close coffee shops in Athens are Jittery Joes. The employees still treat me like a regular, and like they know me personally. They are outgoing, friendly, seem happy to be at work, and make knowledgeable suggestions for drinks. I hope they are treated well by management because they truly deserve it with such an upbeat attitude in customer service. read more

i approached the starbucks drive thru and after waiting about 10 minutes to get to the order box (which wasn't an issue) the man taking the order seemed very confused and not confident in his order taking. i ordered a grande pink drink and a tall shaken peach green tea lemonade. after i ordered i waited a for a little while for him to repeat my order back to me. after that he finally strung it together and he sent me down to the window. i waited about 10 more minutes to even reach the window where i was greeted by an older man named scott. he grabbed my phone and scanned it then handed it back to me. after examining the sticker on the cup i noticed the drink was completely wrong. it was a guava white tea. i didn't want to wait any longer for another drink so i continued with the transaction. after he scanned phone he handed me the drink i ordered. then he accused of not paying, even though the money was subtracted from the mobile app. when i said i did pay he seemed flustered and laughed it off saying he forgot to press a button on the register. as i was to about to get ready to depart i realized we were not given straws and had to asked. not trying to be rude but this starbucks used to be fast but i was very let down. read more
