It's a Starbucks, just like any other Starbucks location in the country. But I wanted to give a special shout out to this location in Rolling Meadows - the employees are great at this one. Always very fast with orders even when there are lines, i never have issues with this location my coffees are always ready quickly and taste great. Also, Connor, who works the drive thru is awesome, very nice guy and is great every time I get coffee from this location, even when I get my venti ice water he remembered me. I have had my drinks messed up multiple times at this location and normally I just take the drink and move on. Today, I was grabbing drinks for family, so when I got the drinks made wrong I asked for them to be corrected. I was given an unnecessary amount of attitude. Store is a bit on the small side but the music is not too loud to prohibit phone calls while working. Staff is engaging and friendly. Parking is very tight and limited. There is a drive through that wraps around the back of the store for convenience. Good place to work but can fill up quickly due to tight quarters. read more

Nothing surprising or unique about my visit to this Starbucks location, just the reliable service and drink I've come to know well. My drink of choice is typically a skinny vanilla latte, so it's hard to mess up. Unlike previous reviews, my drink was made just the way I like it. The only thing I really didn't like about this location was the small parking lot area shared by several other vendors in this strip mall like Gabutto Burger. I came in to use the restroom (it was very clean) otherwise I would have used the drive through window. I don't come by this area often so I can't speak to the food, but it was pretty busy when I came in on a Saturday afternoon. read more

I've came here a couple of times and all of those times I've had a bad experience. I have thought maybe it was just that day and gave them an extra chance. Recently I went and this time it was worse, the person taking my order was kind of rushing me for no reason. It was not busy at all when I went in and I had asked if I can add a cake pop to my order. The person explained to me that they were busy even though it was just me in the drive thru and like 2 other people inside. I asked again nicely to add a cake pop and the person mad told me "let me see what I can do" and slammed the window really hard. Then the person charged me and slammed the window again, and then they gave me a cake pop and slammed the window even harder. If you are ordering with the mobile app you should ignore the bakery options. They never actually have what the app says is available. I have had to get refunds several times. Also, don't try to order whipped cream if a drink doesn't come with it, or get extra added on. They will instead give you less. read more

In addition to taste, sometimes what brings me back to coffee shops is the baristas. I use to go to this Starbucks on the daily, and I do still frequent this location regularly because there really isn't many other options close to home, but I do feel as if the staff has gone down over the years. Don't get me wrong, there are a few good ones that remain (older gentleman and young lady who have been there for years). And the new ones are friendly, of course, but something is lacking. Matt and Tom use to be all-star baristas at this particular location, filled with personality. Regardless of my trivial opinions, the drinks at Starbucks are always of great quality and consistency. Even better! *Egg Nog Latte (seasonal) This location is not large by any means, therefore I primarily frequent this Starbucks via the drive-thru. Even when the drive-thru has a line of cars it moves at a decent pace. They have a few tables and a couple comfy chairs to take advantage of inside. If you ask me, which I understand you wouldn't, the inside is a bit crammed. If you wanted to come here to get some work done with ample space, I feel there are other locations that would serve you better. There is a small area out front to enjoy your beverages on a nice day if you so choose. Also, this parking lot and drive-thru is enough to drive someone insane in the membrane! The entrance from Golf Road and the exit of the Starbucks drive-thru is just an accident waiting to happen. Honestly, i dread coming to this Starbucks. Im surprised to not see more reviews talking about how rude and inconsiderate the workers are. Zayra is so incredibly nasty and has the ugliest look on her face everytime i come here. Then you have the guy with the hairy back that's constantly giving dirty looks. when you pull up to order they have the most monotone "i hate my job and life" voice and it literally ruins your day. i take an extra 15-30 minute drive just so i dont have to come here. its so disappointing and they really need to hire better people. you ask for one small thing like light cream or a specific type of syrup and they act like its the most giant inconvenience when its literally their job. read more

This is a Starbucks I really don't frequent too much. We were at Woodfield Mall, about two miles west of here, and the lines at both Starbucks were ridiculously long. We had other errands to run, so as we passed this one on Golf Road, right before Golf crosses Algonquin Road, we stopped. We only went to the drive through so it's hard to really assess them. It's funny how I read all these reviews about drinks being made wrong. Every time I go to this location they screw up my drink! Then I confront them and get total attitude and told "I know it's made right." Wow really?! I drink Starbucks legit everyday and get the same drink everyday I think I know what it taste like! Visited this place while in town for business. The location is great because it's surrounded by businesses, however you would expect better customer service. They don't smile or even ask your name and customers are left figuring out whose is what on their own. It would help to improve the customer experience. This has to be the SLOWEST Starbucks ever! You can be the only car and easy 10min 2nd car at least 15min either this location is lacking employees on a daily or they just don't know what they are doing, I will say I do have better luck in the evening vs day staff . If you must hit up the 'Bucks, this isn't a bad one to visit as long as you can navigate the mess that is the parking lot & Golf Rd. Employ defense when you're driving around here. Beyond that... 1) Baristas are friendly. Including the folks who work the drive through! As in extra friendly. Nice. 2) Drive thru. 'Nuff said. 3) Drinks are made with expertise. While I'm not ordering up a crazy complicated beverage, I very much appreciate that my order is exact. I've had a pleasant experience here every time I have visited. My dad and I will hang out here after shopping and eating at Mitsuwa. The barista are friendly and the location is clean. My only complaint is the parking lot, which I think is way too small and can be frustrating to get in and out of spots espeically during the lunch hour due to the other shops being around it. Good location near Golf and Arlington Heights road. I've found the staff here to be consistently friendly and helpful. They just switched to the Teavana teas so some of the flavors may be different to what one is used to (if one drinks teas here). I am getting used to the chai. I prefer the Tazo, so we'll see if it's a deal breaker (I'd probably switch to the English Breakfast/Awake variant). The Oprah Chai tea is good (more of an Oregon chai style) but it's in the syrup and too sweet for my tastes. The store has one large table for six or seven, several smaller tables for two or four; a few single comfy chairs by themselves and a stand up bar near the register. Fortunately this store is well heated (during cold Chicago winters) unlike some other stores I've visited. Bathrooms are clean. Always a plus. Hand dryer only. I know it's eco-friendly, but I still prefer paper towels. I don't like handling the doors :) read more

We all know what a Stabucks is. This one isn't very different. It's in a burb, so it's less busy than a lot of Starbucks. They have spurts of traffic here and there, but it wasn't chaotic and when we arrived we ordered right away and had our drinks served in record time. The chairs were comfortable. The shop wasn't too loud. I had a venti chai tea latte with soy milk and their fruit, granola and yogurt cup. Both were good and overpriced. It was a nice treat. read more

So today I walked in at 721am to order me some coffee and breakfast sandwich which is a normal routine for grande frappe with almond milk double smokehouse bacon. So I order the barista looks at me then my money we can take that? You can't take US currency? No we don't change? How you been open since 530am. The barista say Ben the manager doesn't acknowledge me doesn't look up from what he doing smh rude. There is no signage about bills over a certain amount. I clearly called corporate and posting on here because I felt it's because I'm black and their is no diversity in this staff. Maybe they need to close down again to do a training on accepting us currency. Update So the district manager called and said they do provide change when it's available. Just went through the drivethru today, January 2nd, 2019. The girl running the drivethru around 2:45pm deserves a raise! She was the most polite and sweet Starbucks worker I have ever met. There was even a little smiley face on my tray. The drinks are delicious- not too sweet or hot ...etc, and she didn't give any judgment or anything when I asked for a water and for the tray. I've only gone through the drive through here and have had a very successful experience thus far. They haven't screwed up any drinks and have always been very friendly over the mic. I know it's weird to say, but sometimes you get the vibe that the person on the mic doesn't really want to talk to anyone, let alone you. The one thing that I would complain about this place is that the maneuvering around the parking lot is ridiculous. There is only one way into this Starbucks that is shared with other businesses like Potbelly's so it's hard to find parking (hence I only go thru the drive thru) In order for you to go to the drive thru, you would have to circle the entire building which I don't mind doing but this particular location is placed on a main busy road (GOLF) so the entrance into the place is coming from Golf and you have to wait for all of that traffic to come in before you can "turn around". It's somewhat inconvenient since I have to circle all the way around just to be caught in parking lot traffic. I choose to not go here as often and only do once in a while. I go to the one closer to my work that is speedier and you don't have to wait for traffic in the parking lot itself. read more
